Directed by Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely, Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain. Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.

My biggest concern for this film is the retread of Captain America and his friends on the run from the government like it was in The Winter Soldier.

I love the Russos but you kind of dug yourself a hole with that one to do Civil War without making it seem like a retread. Hope they kill it though.

Lets see...
I hope Black Panther wipes the floor with Bucky.
Vision v Witch will be a visual wonder and probably a stalemate.
Its been reported that Widow cleans Ant-Mans clock.
War machine SHOULD beat Falcon.
I would love to see Ironman beat Cap, but we know Cap never loses and this is his movie, so he will win.

@Jeight

While different circumstances I mean it still feels the same. Doesn't mean it will be bad. I mean ROTJ felt similar to Star Wars in the Death Star's back. Indy Last Crusade was similar to 1 in the search for a religious artifact. TDKR was similar to Batman Begins in the League attacking Gotham. All the Rocky films really are just Rocky training to fight someone guy at the end.

Hopefully the Russos make it feel for Winter Soldier. Trust them to but it will be no easy task.

Also, Falcon vs War Machine or War Hammer? Shouldn't be a thing, imo, especially not with how Falcon is portrayed in the MCU.

I'm guessing War Machine/Hammer gets the upper hand over Falcon and gets cocky and then The Winter Soldier comes to help Falcon and rips out his arc reactor, then later on in the movie, Winter Soldier tries to do the same thing to Stark

the artwork for these always looks dope. AoU has striking art as well.
So at least esthetically, Civil War will be satisfying.

Come on 2016.

@LEVITIKUZ

It feels similar to me too, at this point it's starting to feel like different directors and writers telling different iterations of the same type of story.... and different directors and writers getting a chance to work with these characters. We've seen Favreau, Black, and Whedon's Iron Man/Stark, and now we'll see the Russo's Stark/Iron Man
