I can't see the video because i'm at work, but how can it have them? is it scenes from the Avengers trailer?

isn't that kinda faulse advertising since neither of them are in the actual movie? lol

@newtsy because they are other memorable, successful marvel films, whos characters will be featured in the Avengers
btw they didnt show it before the release cause they didnt want people to think it was an expensive trailer for the Avengers

This movis is great, I saw it on opening day and I'm going to see it again today while my mother and sister are watching that Smurfs movie. Cap is definitely going in my movie collection
Thank you Marvel

@Newtsy ...FROM THE STUDIOS THAT BROUGHT U IRONMAN AND THOR...I GUESS A WAY TO LET THE AUDIENCE KNOW ITS CONNECTED..

@ Kamdan IM THINKING NO MENTION OF HULK BECAUSE IT WASNT THAT SUCCESSFUL @ THE BOX OFFICE

Why the [frick] wont they show the hulk?! Between this and the concept art poster Marvel has me thinking that their trying to avoid the Incredible Hulk movie all together.

Their trying to connect the marvel universe but they ignore one of the four main avengers? does not make sense coming from a company that has been pretty successful so far with their films.

Note to self: Pick a different theater if sexymuppet and his PeeWee Herman impressions are in the audience.

Haven't seen it yet because of my wife's work schedule and the little one, but tomorrow night, it's on!

@chris915 - I think the reason why they haven't included the Hulk in all the love is, whil TIH was a great movie, it did poorly at the box office. I think they believe the general audience associates it with Ang Lee's Hulk and that's something they want to avoid with the current films. Either that or Feige is still trying his hardest to piss off Norton as much as he can :)

Are they just trying to ignore the Hulk for the avengers!?!?! Cuz I'm getting that vibe. Seriously we just want to see THE INCREDIBLE HULK!!
CorndogBurglar
CorndogBurglar - 7/29/2011, 9:42 AM
you guys complaining about Hulk, did you ever stop and think that the movie is over a year away and maybe the CGI isn't finished on him, so they don't want to show a crappy, unfinished CGI Hulk in anything?

He's obviously NOT being ignored. The friggin' movie is a year away. relax.

Yeah, they can't show any other incarnation of Hulk because (other than being green) he'll look entirely different in The Avengers. Ironman and Thor will practically look the same.

@Newtsy - you're serious? IM and THor were well received films, that alone is a good reason for connecting them.

@marvel72 - Gonna see it tonight!! FÜCK YEAH!

xenomorph929 - 7/29/2011, 11:01 AM
Although i want to see the hulk like in the Thor ads, i dont mind just these three because maybe marvel is trying to get people used to the trilogy since there isnt wasp or antman and hulk always leaves.
Ryden
Ryden - 7/29/2011, 11:52 AM
It's probably because they're trying to reinforce the idea of the "Big Three". Still never understood why it wasn't the Big Four considering the Hulk is not only a founding member but before any of these other dudes had a movie was the only one that audiences really knew about.

maaannn...Marvel's gotta start ante up their game in promoting next year's The Avengers.

it turns out that there ARE quite many people, especially outside the U.S. that still have NO idea about the upcoming movie. they don't even know what the avengers IS!! i guess all the hype is NOT hyped ENOUGH.

they gotta do more of this, but not in the "from the studios that brought you Iron Man and Thor blah blah blah" kind of way, but more like a single trailer consisting scenes from previous movies with a voice over that actually TELLS people that they're ALL CONNECTED and leading up to next year's The Avengers, cuz, maaaannn...the MESSAGE ain't CLEAR enuff.

wide awareness and the movie's quality itself is the key to this movie. TDKR's already got the former down pat. as for the latter, it's got Christopher Nolan, a proven director with critical and commercial successes in his resume. all Avengers got is the characters.

i'm NOT worried...but, after learning that many of my peers are clueless about the upcoming marvel team movie, i'm...a LITTLE concerned. and these are people who're pretty aware of the latest pop cultural events and buzzes.
