Marvel Studios has done it again. Being the last superhero movie of the summer, this one goes out with a bang. Back in 2008 with Iron Man I never thought that the Marvel Cinematic Universe would lead up to this, an awesome movie with heartwarming characters, set in 1942 during the WWII era brings us were no other Marvel film has bought us before. Joe Johnston is no stranger to period pieces. With him being an effects assistant on Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark, this makes perfect sense as to why he was chosen as director. The Rocketeer is also a fine example. Throwing in all those elements from each film, plus having an all- star cast including the beautiful Haley Atwell, balancing out with comedy, action, romance and drama you got yourself the perfect summer film. By far my favorite and IMHO the best Marvel film. Chris Evans did an awesome job as Steve Rogers with embodying the character and his struggles to being accepted for who he is. From The Human Torch, to the star spangled Avenger himself Captain America. Now tell me, what's so wrong about actors playing two different superheroes? "Just give me a chance" well guess what, I was willing to give Evans a chance, and he nailed it. Are you dedicated Marvel fans up to do the same? See the movie for yourself and find out. *Note: This is a review I wrote up last summer, and I never thought about uploading it until now.

Happy to see this movie getting the recognition it deserves. My favourite Marvel movie as well, on par with Iron Man.

Personally, I like the "Spielberg/Lucas" vibe movie gives, makes it stand out among the other Marvel movies from my point of view. Silvestri's score supplements that feeling as well
