While one opinion doesn't mean it's good, it's nice to hear that someone likes it. I found it kind of amusing that the guy couldn't really put into words that he ws more of a DC fan.

This guy allegedly saw Green Lantern almost a month before its release. How is he seeing all these superhero movies before they come out? He also gave Green Lantern a positive review, so his word isn't much to go by.

Yeah, I question the validity of this guy too. Not that I think Cap won't be a good film, just because this guy seems a bit hinky.

not exactly what I would call a "review" but I did like the Rocketeer and the only review I trust is my own

LMAO...This guy said absolutely nothing. Can someone please tell me who he is and how he could've possibly seen this film?

Did my own research:

Dave Rabbit”, who is greatly considered as the Godfather of Pirate Radio, began his radio career in Vietnam working as a studio engineer for Radio Phan Rang. After three tours in Vietnam, "Dave Rabbit" and his friends launched Radio First Termer from a secret studio in a backroom of a Saigon brothel. The make-shift studio walls were lined with mattresses to deaden the sounds emanating from the brothel. The station broadcasted for a total of 63 hours over 21 nights (between January 1, 1971 to January 21, 1971). “Dave Rabbit” later admitted in an interview, that he was forced to stop broadcasting because he was fearful that his friends, who were protecting him and the show, were in imminent danger of getting in trouble by his base commander, who hated his show and suspected that someone was protecting him.

@ indoraptor12:

Sounds like he is a critic for a military base. They get pre-screenings before the film is released on base and the base gets the film before major release generally. I used to catch films a month before release on base in PR.

So he reviewed of the trailer we've all seen before.... great {sigh}

@WorkingTitle

lmfao. I think I actually did facepalm myself from seeing that.

@ThaMessenger07

I considered that as well, but he said nothing about the film other than info you can get straight off the film's wiki page.

I didn't watch the video, because I don't give a shit what critics have to say. Only twice have I ever listened to critics, The Dark Night and No Country For Old Men, and both times I regretted it.

you ppl are so damn stupid. the military views most movies before we get them. My bro is stationed in Afghanistan now and he's getting dvd's of movies that haven't even been released in theaters in the states. Do you guys have nothing better to do than bitch and complain and question this guy? Get a life.

for me this critic seems legit...just because his reviews on X-men First Class and Green Lantern was spot on...
it did say that first class was a fresh start and that green lantern was a missed opurtunity

Well the period and the director kinda already made me think it'd be like the Rocketeer but better and a bit more serious.

My god that man goes on and on and F***ING on I turned him off. At the end of the day go and see it and make your own mind up or don't go and see it. Let's face it would be a boring f***ing world if everybody like the same thing.

@HeyVanity & level1paladin - TDK was ok, not as great as the hype made it out to be. To be fair though, I was going to see it no matter what. No Country was so damn boring I found myself wishing the bad guy would use the cattle gun on me :)

@PRMR77 - Agreed.

Man, Rocketeer is mediocre and The Wolfman is a piece of shit... I'm worried, mostly by the second half of the trailer - cheesy patriotic caricature!

Bauer, the critics were right about TDK and No Country as both were great movies. If you didn't like that's fine but pretty much everyone else did hence the critical acclaim tag.

As for Captain America, I really think this movie can land anywhere from fair to great and it's hard to tell where exactly. I don't think it will be crap as Marvel Studio movies tend to really try to not be "bad."
