It appears the good folks over at Collider also got ahold of Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Joe and Anthony Russo to discuss the Marvel film's home release as well as its 2016 sequel, tentatively titled Captain America 3. In the following video, the directing duo reveals the Marvel threequel's primary filming location to be Atlanta, Georgia, where Ant-Man is currently shooting. And they also touch on the inevitable subtitle, the current scripting stage and process, Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier, Frank Grillo's Crossbones, Jeremy Renner's recent comment that his Avengers archer Hawkeye may have a role, and also Chris Evans possibly passing the torch, or rather Cap's shield, when his contract ends after Avengers 3. Head to Collider for the transcript.

Can't wait for Cap 3, I really hope we get BP in the mix...

Never thought that the Captain America trilogy would be the best when it comes to the MCU. Can't wait to see what the Russo's and Co. have in store for us!

SMH if they have BP in this movie. I really want a solo BP movie to stand on its own feet and not be another sort of sidekick.

I'd like to see T'Challa get a mention in Age of Ultron, then have make an appearance in Cap 3. A solo Black Panther film doesn't have to be linear, part of it could focus on him in the present day (post Cap 3) and the other part would focus on his origin.

I think we will get a Black Panther solo, but even a small part in Cap 3 would be a cool introduction and gauge the interest and feedback from the general public, we all know fanboys would lose their shit in whatever capacity...or, maybe he could show up at the end of AoU, getting vibranium for a new Cap shield and possible Iron Man suit?

Great minds think alike haha

Well, since Cap's shield is going to be broken at the end of AoU, a trip to Wakanda is inevitable. Black Panther (similarly to the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes' episode "Panther Quest") will probably show up attacking Cap, Hawkeye, and whoever accompanies them.

They should give the movie a title like Captain America: Avengers Academy, then expect a billion dollar hit.

@ Batz11

Screw feedback from the general public......I mean Marvel just put out a great movie called GOTG with no intro from another movie, and the mass general public had no clue who they were.

In the audio commentary with these guys and the writers you can see how they really know a lot about old movies and just movies in general. They knew exactly what they wanted from the movie and how Feige is always helping to make the best movie possible

Can't wait to see what they do next.

I hear ya Joe, not my personal feelings, but could be what Marvel's thinking, but right, after GotG, there balls are probably bigger than yours by now...

I do want BP, like most, but who knows the best way to introduce him, I'm fine with a solo flick, but a lil' background or cameo couldn't hurt stir the frenzy...

If Black Panther does appear in this movie, I hope it's just a cameo and that it's T'Chaka as Black Panther. Which can be a set up for the Black Panther solo movie!

@GliderMan

The element Stark re-discovered in IM2 was not vibranium.
It was more like the results of Howard's work with the Tesseract.

Why would someone not want Black Panther. Black Panther is a BOSS

Panther moreover needs his own film, I wouldn't mind to see him appear in the film to set his character up for an even more massive role in the MCU. But I'm not with "sidekicking" him.

I know this isn't official but it makes more sense than it being vibranium.

Tony Stark did not rediscover Vibranium. All of you citing Feige's comments, show us the link.

Cap only has one shield, but the editing/scripting of Winter Soldier reveals a number of missing or skipped-over scenes. For example, how did Cap, Widow, and Falcon steal his wings? They discuss quite the heist, and we're supposed to believe they did that effortlessly and without detection?

We're meant to assume Cap painted his shield, although there is no point in the movie when Cap would have had time to do it. But that's the explanation.

I love WS, but upon further viewing, there are the common Marvel movie plot holes.
Bekss
Bekss - 8/27/2014, 4:23 PM
@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon

There was enough time for the shield to be painted.
And Widow is one of the best spies of the world, and she had Cap Help.
But yeah, every movie has a couple plotholes
PsychoticSpaceRaccoon
PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - 8/27/2014, 4:30 PM
@Bekss And Bruce Wayne smuggled himself into a fully locked down Gotham because...Batman. ;)

I see your points, and that's why they're not movie-ruining plot holes, but if we're really going to nitpick...

But yes...JUST ONE SHIELD, PEOPLE.
