The Captain America: Civil War: The Art of the Movie book features some of the best concept art for what might be one of the best comic book movies of all time. With early designs of a fully costumed Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) to Iron Man's (Robert Downey Jr.) Bleeding Edge armor, T'Challa's (Chadwick Boseman) Black Panther, and even the film's epic battles, the book features the idea of what the film could've been like if different choices were made.

Some new concept art has found its way online, and it looks like one of those choices could have been the addition of Bryan Cranston as General Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross. The book's artwork features the scene in which the Sokovia Accords are introduced, while also revealing that a character resembling Bryan Cranston was either used as a stand in or was being considered for a role similar to that of William Hurt's General Ross.

Since this is a Civil War article, I figured I would bring this up here. It's been bugging me for a long time now.

This moment in the gif. How the hell did Spider-Man's Spidey sense not activate in this moment? Any thoughts or ideas as to why?

Maybe that's not Ross. He doesn't have the 'stache.

I don't think that's Ross, probably another powerful political character. Most likely a placeholder before Marvel decided to use Ross.
