There's a lot cat tossing, face-smacking and dancing in this sneak peek at the gag reel that will accompany the home video release of Captain Marvel.

The film set the stage for Marvel Studios' monumental year, earning $1.1 billion USD worldwide from an estimated production budget of $175 million. Of course, that was just the precursor to the storm(breaker)  that was Avengers: Endgame, which may or  may not unseat Avatar as the highest grossing film of all-time.  Closing out the year for Marvel will be Spider-Man: Far From Home, which long-range tracking has estimated to debut to $120 million domestically.  Expect those numbers to rise in the coming months as Marvel and Disney release more details about the film.  Next year, Marvel Studios has two unannounced release dates that most fans figure will be the solo Black Widow movie and possibly The Eternals.

The film is set to hit digital On-Demand platforms on May 28, while physical blu-ray and DVD copies will first be sold on June 11.

Of course, Captain Marvel will also be available to watch on Day 1 of Disney+, which launches on November 12 in the U.S.. Check out the deleted scene below, which definitely feels as if it could've been left in the final cut.

I'm looking forward to Far From Home, but a little worried about how they might deal with the fallout from Endgame.

I will be waiting for the physical copy to add to my collection.
Btw, Endgame is $110 million behind the highest grossing film of all time. It might not make it there, but this is insane.

@WakandanQueen - I’m getting my copy on June 11th with decals and a lithograph included with my movie purchase. And also I hate digital media.

Box Office numbers are out and now impossible for Endgame to beat Avatar worldwide number.

Did only 15 million foreign.

Endgame needs 111 milion more not going happen with those kind of numbers. Next week Endgame will be done at foreign box run.

@DoubleD - $2,677,472,736 as it stands is great for any movie plus whatever more it makes. Maybe if an ad says see Endgame before Spider-Man it'll give it a bump.

@Kevwebsz - I agree not bad for a comic book movie. Spider-Man won't help foreign market only domestic. I don't see another 111 million domestic coming in.

@Kevwebsz - BUT Endgame did beat Avatars domestic number :)

@DoubleD - just checking, did Avatar ever benefit from getting some sort of special release time, like well after what would've reasonably been considered the genuine end of its original box office run?
Because I know that when that's been done for movies, it all just keeps being added to the number as if it was part of the initial release window, not with an asterisk or something like that. like I remember they definitely did that with Titanic, at least once.

Perhaps they indeed never did that with Avatar, but I kinda wouldn't be surprised if they did. and frankly, there's PLENTY of movies if given a special even semi-limited re-release window, it would pick up at least another couple million.

@CaptCoulson - No released in December but was the first movie to use all the new 3D technology.

Avatar was a well rounded Action-SciFi movie with latest 3D technology sold a lot of tickets.

@DoubleD - People also seem to forget that 2009 sucked for movies thanks to the writers strike, so it didn't have a lot of competition.

Goose reads the script for today's filming.

"[frick] that, I'm not getting thrown around. Get my stunt double. I'll be in my trailer with my entourage."

Brie was barely in it. This is the first time in which not only do I see a stunt double in the gag reel, but is in it more than the main star.

I don't think its coincidence that Brie Larson is almost entirely absent from the part of the bluray dedicated to being able to laugh at oneself.
