I voted Bane and Marvel. Dont know Doc Samson cant vote.

Bane is played off a lot but he is cold and calculated. Winter Soldier seems brash.

Marvel beat the hell out of Superman. If that doesn't give him the ability to handily beat Hulk i dont know what does.

@Ravenpilot
When did he beat the hell out of Superman? Superman has defeated CM on many different occasions....

Bane vs Winter Soldier

Bane is stronger and faster then normal humans.

Doc Samson vs Aquaman

This could go either way.The key to this fight is where this takes place if it near a body of water then Aquaman but if he can't gey Samson into the water or if the fight takes place miles away from the nearest body of water then Samson.Seeing as the latter is more likely I'm going with Doc Samson for the hard earn win.

Captain Marvel vs Hulk

Earth's Mightiest Mortal has beaten Superman before...
But it's not his strength but his speed that gives him the edge in this fight.Hulk has no way to keep up.All Marvel needs do is knock him in to space at super speed and leave him there.

Bane vs Winter Soldier -- Winter Soldier. Bane isn't typically armed; WS carries automatic weaponry. Bang, dead.

Aquaman vs Doc Samson -- Samson's strength level is that of a "calm" Hulk (in the 70-75 ton range). This makes him FAR stronger than Arthur (who has the strength of 150 men, which puts him around the 15 ton range). Samson's also much more durable. I'd give Arthur the edge in speed but Samson's superior strength and durability would enable him to take anything Aquaman can dish out. I think this would be a relatively easy win for Samson.

Captain Marvel vs Hulk -- Hulk wins this. Like if Hulk were fighting Superman, Marvel would eventually tire while Hulk would only get stronger the longer the fight wore on. The second Marvel tuckers out, it's over.

I think Bane is fast enough to dodge gunfire, do I don't think the guns are help out much.

@Unknownfacts
Yes, he has won. But as stated before he actually loses a lot more than he wins against Superman. And I think he was using magic there, it's been establish in DC universe that physically Superman is stronger than CM. But this is irrelevant because its Hulk vs CM, not Supes vs CM.

Anyways, you make a great point about speed, but I think if Billy was going to speed blitz Hulk he would hurt him he might even knock him backwards but Hulk is durable enough to survive all of CM's hits, and at first Hulk wouldn't be able to lay a finger on Billy but at some point CM would tire out because Hulk can withstand all of his hits. Just a thought, not trying to disprove you because I agree speed is an advantage that shouldn't be taken lightly. But I think Hulk is durable enough to survive all of his attacks...

That is one fight but I was thinking of the Alex Ross painted comic where Marvel Takes a nuke to the face.

Most of the time Bane isn't armed, because bullets dont seem to hurt 95% of super heroes. I dont think that would be his down fall.

Hasn't the Hulk been stop by pretty much everyone in the Marvel Universe at some point. He seems to be a gate keeper. How cool do you want your character to be, have him fight the Hulk.

This one be fore warned since this isn't part of the cannon universe most people will debate it's plausibilty,me I could careless seeing as how these two are cannon accurate to a point.

I agree it is annoying when they use characters just to prove how tough the new guy is.If your a great fighter you beat Batman or Wolverine in hand to hand combat.If they're tough they KO Hulk,Thor,or Superman in single combat.The worst are the major events where the heroes headquaters is destoryed and/or captured or they lift Thor's hammer,break Cap's shield,and resist and or snap Wonder Woman's lasso.What turely makes it so bad is that when the new character returns issues later the heroes win like he/she was nothing at all.

True I guess it's not cannon but whatever, great comic and Superman that shrugs off the green rock.

With World War Hulk it seems Marvel tried to say Hulk really is that world beater.

@Ravenpilot
Everyone? Obviously not EVERYONE...

Hulk has beaten the heavyweights Hulkbuster Iron Man, Ares, Thing, Colossus and Gladiator pretty much every time they battle.
He's also beaten Thor on many occasions, although Thor has pulled a few wins...same with Juggernaut.
He beat Sentry a few times, Sentry beat him a few times.
He's also beaten Rulk and Abomination both of which are said to be stronger than his base form.

He also broke  Onslaught's armor, and has fared well against the Celestials.

He beat Doctor Strange once, but I'm discounting that one cuz I think it was totally PIS, Strange could just zap him out of existence if he wanted to.
I would imagine that he's beaten Drax and Ms. Marvel before, although I haven't read one where he did.

As for people that have beaten him.

Thor and Sentry have done it a few times, but he's beaten both of them on many occasions as well.
Juggernaut did it once, but Hulk wins all of the  other fights.
Rulk overpowered him once, although it was Loeb's writing and he had Rulk beating Silver Surfer too so idk if it actually counts or not.
Surfer beat Hulk.

Wolverine and Deadpool both did it once, but I'm calling PIS on those too it's ridiculous they're only street levelers...

Thanos fought Hulk with little results....

I would imagine Beta Ray Bill could conceivably beat him, though I've yet to see that battle play out so idk that'd be a good one for the new Indestructible Hulk to take on...

Don't see how that's everyone, everyone I listed (except Logan and Deadpool) are in the heavyweights...if anyone else knows of more than feel free to mention. You are making it sound like he's a big pushover, when obviously he's not. He's no joke, you shouldn't underestimate him.

I dont man. He isn't a push over. I just did a google search and alot of people beat the hulk. It usually happens because the hulk was downgraded or they were up graded. Hulk seems to be the bench mark for how cool your character is.

World War Hulk made him a badass that was intelligent and dangerous.

I was just saying that if he is defeated if only once by the likes of Iron Man than why shouldn't someone like Marvel put him to bed.

Marvels magical in nature and gives Superman a run for his money. Seems like an ace way to beat someone like the Hulk.
GuardianDevil
GuardianDevil - 3/14/2013, 12:28 AM
@Ravenpilot
Iron Man beat him? Yeah, he beat Mr. Fixit but regular Hulk? I haven't seen that happen, Iron Man in his strongest suit of armor failed against him....I haven't heard of Iron Man beating a Hulk above Grey Hulk level...

Like I said Deadpool and Wolverine beat him but I call PIS on those, I've never seen any other street levelers take him down...Spidey almost has but he never actually did so.

But the thing is, everyone that's beaten Hulk....Hulk has beaten them as well (Surfer is the only exception so far) Aside from Surfer and I think Zeus (skyfather) everyone who's beaten Hulk, Hulk has beaten them quite a few times as well.

Anyways, I'm not saying he'd neccessarliy win. But he's defeated AND lost to people around the same level as Superman/Captain Marvel...Sentry, Thor and Gladiator are great examples...still not even saying he'd win for sure, he's fought people like CM so it really would not be easy for either one of them if you know what I mean.

Sorry if I came off as a jerk, I just hear some guys on here and alot on Comicvine too who think that Hulk is a big pushover and just a huge retard who can't win any of his fights...sorry if I got a little ranty.

Its cool man, I usually dont post on these any more. Comic Book math is nuts
GuardianDevil
GuardianDevil - 3/14/2013, 12:51 AM
@Ravenpilot
Lol True, it's hard to keep up with all of the power-levels too. Especially with guys like Hulk and Superman who's strength-levels both seems to be constantly changing...

Yeah, death battles had it right when they did the superman vs goku thing. Superman is as strong as he needs to be. That really sums up the character and his accomplishments.
LoudLon

Kingdom Come actually IS canon, it just happens to be FUTURE canon.

Look it up. ;)

Fenix -- never seen Bane dodge machine gun fire. News to me. Still going with Winter Soldier, though.

Batman can dodge gunfire, and Bane's reflexes are at least on par with Bats. He's also enhanced to a certain degree so it might actually be more...

GuardianDevil - 3/14/2013, 1:46 AM
@Ravenpilot
Agreed on Supes beating Goku, Goku is massively overhyped IMO. Superman would beat him after a decent fight.
unknownfacts

Yeah comic book math does get annoying well more like a migraine because while there are simular characters to compare their opponent to there are also major differences that you have to take into account.Which all leads up to us realizing thay in the end this is all just made up information designed for entertainment perposes only.

If you look at it from a logical stand point most comic book feats are impossible due to the laws of physics.

Ironman KO'd the Hulk In green form( during the first Layton era) just as he transformed, by Focusing all his available power into one punch. Unfortunately this cause his armor to freeze up effectively trapping Tony in the armor. Great story during one of Ironman's heights in my opinion.

I've always been fascinated with Superman versus Captain Marvel stories since reading a story from around 1973-1974 were Superman fought Capt. Thunder (basically Capt. Marvel).

Marvel 3 for 3. But you gotta love Captain Marvel's flowery little cape. It's fetching.

Bane vs Winter Soldier
I say Bucky. Bane is stronger and probably a better tactian, but Bucky is gonna be more heavily armed and he;s got that bionic left arm with super strength and who knows what all gadgets.

Doc Samson vs Aquaman
I know next to nothing about Samson so I abstain.

Hulk vs Captain Marvel
Hulk's got almost nothing but brute strength. I mean, Worldbreaker Hulk is a different story, but in general, he's all muscle. Cap has a variety of powers, the Speed of Solomon, the Wisdom of Mercury and all that. His combination of powers gives Cap the overwhelming advantage.
