COMICS: New Preview Of Brian Wood's STAR WARS #1

On January 9th, Dark Horse will debut a brand new ongoing Star Wars series, which will be set during the events of the original trilogy. We have already seen a coupe of pages, but here are 3 new ones featuring Darth Vader having a little chat with The Emperor..

Wood has stated that the series “will pretend like its 1977 and no other films were ever made or books ever written.”. Nerdist asked him exactly what he meant by this..

"I’ve had to clarify that statement so many times! By that quote what I meant to say is that IN THE CHARACTER’S MINDS, nothing has happened since the events of the first film. Luke and Leia don’t know they’re siblings, Vader doesn’t know Luke exists, and so on. Which is a challenge."

Dark Horse have had so many Star Wars comics over the years, a new one doesn't immediately seem like something to pop your lightsaber over - but since this will be set during the original trilogy and tell brand new stories with that set of characters, I'm in.
