Apocalypse could take out ALL of the Avengers alone, so, how the heck did he lose this fight with the X-men on his side...I call BS...

This has to be the absolute WORST event to ever come out of Marvel, and they've had some real doozies.

I'm confused I was kind of excited when I first heard about Axis, but after seeing that I kind of don't feel like trying to catch up with it.

Plus I'm just kind of tired how Marvel has these events but they're totally cutoff and separate from what else is going on in the rest of their universe. Like is this taking place before Spider-Man's Spiderverse event or after? It's seriously confusing.

of course it's makes sense that Apocalypse (with the X-men by his side) still manage to lost, totally plausible *sarcasm

@Melkaticox
Thank you for postin' the pic of issue 438, that was exactly what I thought of when I saw the armor. The armor is how Mark Gruienwald ended his 10 year run on Cap's books, right before Waid started the book over at #1. The thin' is, and I'm assumin' that this isn't suppose to be the first armor from those long ago issues. The original armor kept Steve mobile 'cause he was paralyzed, and this one he needs his strength to operate. Unless the writer didn't realize this, and made a error.

Sabretooth and Carnage are superheroes..... Ugh!!!
sicknimon
sicknimon - 12/18/2014, 11:32 AM
OK FIRST OF ALL That is an inverted Even/Genesis and not actually Apocolypse. 2nd Carnage has been fun to read as a hero, because he's not really a hero when you read it. Everybody is inverted from hero/villian. Dr. Doom has been an awesome read, Carnage has been an awesome read. The rest are kinda eh. So all you wanks that keep saying Apocolypse, maybe y'all should read before you open your dirty trolling word hole. BLAM! After saying that, this isn't the best marvel event.

Reading articles makes me feel ok about not buying/following them anymore. I've collected and read Avengers since the mid-70s but it all started to circle the drain with Civil War, Invasion, etc. Think I'll go back and read annual 10 again with Rogue's first appearance against real avengers.

@darkeyez
@jojo1982

Thor beat apocalypse by cursing his Axe to be able to destroy celestial armor.

So it wasn't like apocalypse wasn't shown as being strong. But this was Evan as apocalypse anyway. Apocalypse is still dead/M.I.A.
royroy
royroy - 12/18/2014, 2:02 PM
@retrofit

why does the red skull stuff go too far? it's only cause he is inverted and only until the spell is over. as you see he knows he is going back to normal.

if anything what is more ludicrous to me is cap doesn't use the shield to cut skulls dang head off after he just tried to unleash straight up genocide on a whole species. it's one thing if a villain robs a bank but he tries to warp the mind of every human and kill every mutant. isn't killing this SOB a service? lol

@Crabnado

There is a tiny sliver of Xavier left but as far as I am concerned Xavier is dead and in heaven. Thats shown in amazing x-men.

The x-men's stance is desperate here and I say that as an x-men fan.

Kill skull,let Xavier rest and let's move on. If Xavier wanted to come back he would have come when nightcrawler returned.

I just really want skull to die. Lol
