If you look closely in Carl's eye on the cover of this issue, you will see walkers approaching. It's been speculated that zombies may attack the place where Negan and his soldiers are held up, or Negan lets Carl fend for himself and travel back to the Alexandria Safe-Zone. There are other theories that Negan could force Carl into some type of gladiatorial like fight for his life with the Zombies.

What a lovely fella. Pick up The Walking Dead #105 on Wednesday to see what happens next.

I hope Carl kills the [frick] out of Negan!

What I love is how Carl was the one who brokered the deal with Hilltop to kill the saviors. Negan's letting the image fool him, Carl is just about as dangerous as Rick is. I really hope Rick is the one that kills Negan though...

I've read issues 1-102. I've learned to expect the unexpected. Main characters die, people lose their limbs, and when you think that the story can't go or get any-more screwed up, it does. Plus, the comic is superior to the TV show in every way.

I want someone to kill the [fark] out of Negan and his crew. Robert Kirkman is a genius; he can create villains that we love to hate [literally].

Carl is evolving to be one bad mofo in the comic. He is a survivor. In my opinion, Rick will eventually die, and Carl will, eventually, take over the series.

If you don't believe me, here is a quote from Kirkman:

"I will say that Rick will probably die before the end of the book. I'll go ahead and put that in print. Nobody's safe. I've almost killed him three times already."

I have to say, trying to force myself to be objective in comparing the comic vs TV, I feel the writing of the show does a MUCH better job in "every way".

Giving the Governor some depth and even occasionally sympathetic or at least ambiguous qualities shows a lot more talent than the 1 dimensional villains in the comic almost always possess.

Most of the vulgarity and shock in the comic are for children

Couldn't disagree more. If they followed Kirkman's lead with the source material they would win awards...instead they sold out and made the show into an incoherent mess.

The comic is 1000x better in quality than the show could ever hope of attaining.

I still watch the show, Season 1 was great, Season 2 was great, but killing Lori so early in the season ruined the biggest payoff and one of the most gut wrenching moments in the franchise's history. Season 3 started out extremely good and then sh!t it all away in episode 4 much like how Lost shit away their integrity in season 3 as well.

Don't get me wrong, Lori annoyed me...but I would've much rather seen the writers work than go the quick and lazy route. They took a not very popular character when she wasn't very popular and killed her off at the same time as trying to make us feel sorry for her...rather than try and develop her character throughout the season and have those serious moments with Carl, before having the death scene from the comics...the writers of the show are for the most part lazy and stupid (Kirkman excluded).

how do you feel the show is an "incoherent mess"? It takes a lot of effort for me to consider the two as separate entities (i.e. they're not following the same paths), but I don't find the plot points to be convoluted, and a majority of the characters in the TV show are handled with much more subtlety and depth... which is not to say I don't occasionally scream at my tv over what I feel are missteps, honest

I also have long since accepted that AMC is not going be heavy handed and ham fisted about rape and baby crushing. TV Lori served her thin purpose and bowed out when it would still be a shock to most viewers, albeit not AS "shocking" as Kirkiman's occasionally juvenile "dude what's the MOST F'D UP WAY I can kill someone"

LOVE IT. I wonder what Rick's gonna do!

Rick and the group spent all that time studying the prison before going in and couldn't see the building was missing one of it's walls and part of the fence?

Negan is such and unlikable villain. He's not even fun to read. He's like that immature douche you knew in high school that bullied everybody and talked about all the girls he slept with. I hope Carl or Rick kill this insufferable twat soon.

Me too...the sad thing is though, it feels like Negan might be the next major villain the comics see. He's smarter than the Governor so I could easly see him lasting till issue #225-230...so another 2 years. Hopefully the payoff of his death is rewarding though.
