USA Today have revealed DC's plans for Grayson, a new series from the creative team of writers Tim Seeley and Tom King. The latter describes the series as a chance for the former Robin, "to take off the mask and step out on his own in a world where he's not simply being another hero like the hero he grew up with." Grayson #1 will be released in July, while the current Nightwing series is set to wrap up with issue #30 next month. According to the site, Batman insists that Dick keeps the fact that he's alive from everyone, including the likes of Alfred Pennyworth and Batgirl in order to protect them and himself now that his secret identity has been revealed to the world. As a result, Nightwing will be leaving Gotham City and will become an employee of Spyral, the international spy agency introduced during Grant Morrison's Batman, Incorporated run. However, there many be more to them than meets the eye, and King compares the series as follows: "It's DC's The Americans. This is something where, at the end of it, you have to go and talk about it."
