Although no name was given, Dan Didio revealed today at Kapow that they are planning to bring back a previously existing DC character into the DCnU but alter that character's sexual orientation.

Didio claimed that this character would become "one of our most prominent gay characters."

DC have taken the opportunity to introduce more LGBT character into the DCU thanks to last year's reboot, as well as expanding on already gay characters such as Batwoman. Gail Simone even revealed they were going to bring Catman out of the closet before the reboot; But this news certainly came out of left field.

I'm sure this news will cause much speculation as to who this mystery character is, so leave your thoughts and theories below!
