Three Comic Book Movie Actors Pose For A Selfie That Reflects The DC Cinematic Universe

Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, and Antje Traue have all posed for a photograph on the set of the film "Criminal." Ironically, this photograph makes a statement on the current state of the DC cinematic universe. Hit the jump to check it out!

Gal Gadot, who will play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, recently posted a photo of herself from the set of "Criminal." In this picture, she is posing with Antje Traue, who played Faora in Man of Steel, and Ryan Reynolds, who played the titular character in Green Lantern. Gadot wrote, "On set of "Criminal" Having fun with my friend Antje Traue... Look who popped in?" What makes this picture so interesting from the standpoint of a comic book movie fan, is the fact that Gadot and Trauje are in the foreground, while Reynolds is in the background, presumably photobombing the picture. Gadot and Traje are posing together, seemingly indicating that the fact that they both have significant roles in the DC cinematic universe. Reynolds, on the other hand, is in the background, and his facial expressions seem to indicate that he feels left out, just like he was left out of the DCCU after Green Lantern bombed. What do you think of the photo? Do you think Reynolds should be in the DCCU? Sound off in the comments!

No, I think it's time for a change up for Green Lantern. Ryan Reynolds bless him cannot help playing himself in his roles and all the 'comedy' that comes with it. I'd like a serious Green Lantern, maybe Jon Stewart for a change, and the only thing that I would like reprised from the disappointing DC movie would be Mark Strong's stunning performance as Sinestro.

@SimyJo He does serious roles with no comedy, but most studios seem to only want him for the comedic stuff. Warner Bros clearly felt that GL needed the comedic tone (which I don't think was the problem). The main problem of the movie was how it was put together, and that god awful CGI suit (really dumb idea)

Ryan was really great in Chaos Theory. Great movie. Some screwed up things happened in the movie, but it was cool still seeing him in a different role (serious)

I don't even need a calendar.

The Pirates fall apart. The Reds start to suck. The Cardinals take over 1st.

It is September.

yoss, you son of a bitch. I haven't given up on the Pirates yet. The next 13 games are against the Cubs, Phillies, Red Sox, and 3 games against the Brewers. They can still make a run for 1st.

Yeah I saw the rest of your schedule. We've got The Brewers, Reds, Rockies, Cubs and D-Backs left. It'll be a tight race for sure.

Green Lantern didn't bomb any harder than Man of Steel.
Let Reynolds into the DCCU.

Honestly. While the movie was not the best, the casting for Green Lantern was allmost perfect (I can honestly say that i cannot read Green Lantern comics without hearing MCD voice as Killowog, Ryan as Hal, Strong as Sinestro etc) So if the cast is intrested to come back. Then for crying out loud let them

I wouldn't mind if Reynolds, and mainly Mark Strong returned but I can also see why DC/WB would want to avoid any continuity with the Gl 2011 film... If they reboot I certainly would LOVE if Mark Strong returns as Sinestro and if we got maybe Sam Rockwell or Tom Hardy as Hal Jordan!
