Ahem... this book SUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKS!

My brothers been trying to get to read this for about a year and I finally relented. Couldn't make it past issue four or five. The books critical and financial success confounds me.

Weird for the sake of weird doesn't mean its good. It's just weird.

Tried to read it. Didn't find it interesting or compelling. Maybe people like it because it's dark, gritty, sex acts and has its share of f-bombs. Weird is a good description. The guy on the cover looks like a Brony.

Staples' art is fantastic, especially considering everything you see on the page is her down to the lettering. Brian Vaughan is great at witty dialogue and episodic structure. I understand that this just may not be for some readers. I've been turned off by certain things in it that seem to be there just for shock value, but everything is cohesive and it is definitely unlike anything else on the shelves in a good way. To say it sucks is basically to be contrarian for no other reason than you need to disagree with people to validate your self-worth because your parents were too permissive and raised you to be a little douche. It's ok to like good comics, children.

I loved the first 2 TPB the last issue when they came off their hiatus was a bit of a weak issue. But I still love this book.
