I can't stand the ultimate universe, that's just my opinion. I prefer like the 616 mainstream universe.

@StevesRogersSon The last time that somebody said that the Ultimate Universe needed to implode, a little slice of moron came along named Jeph Loeb and destroyed what the Universe was. It was a great line of comics and then he decided to wipe it clean of everything, despite his not ever having been a part of the Universe.

@jarel: You beat me to it. I was just about to say that.
The Millar/Hitch Ultimates was brilliant as was Ultimate Spidey.

But then along came Jeph Loeb and Ultimatum...
And then after THAT cluster****, they gave the guy another Ultimates title.

That the Ultimate U is still working is a miracle in and of itself.

@IronPatriot:

"which looks close to his movie counterpart."

Which oddly, was inspired by Hitch's Ultimates design.

Does anyone else find it ironic (and disappointing) that Ultimate Cap now looks more like the TRUE Captain America than the 616 Cap???

Tony Stark shares consciousness with a sentient brain tumor. That's the kind of thing people who don't read comics make fun of us for.

If the Ultimate Universe never existed, I'd be a happy man.

But man, I like the art.
