I guess Carnage is half a body now since he was ripped in half by Sentry. Oh well, good riddance. Really liking this art. Thumbs up for Clayton Crain

This is why I am oly reading one arc from each franchise.

You have AvsX which X-Men alone has about 20 titles coming out a month that already don't make sense. You have Avengers, which has around 15 different titles a month. Not to mention everyone's solo series. Good Lord, in the 80's and 90's, the writers actually talkedto one another and said, "Hey, your doing this series, so I'll wait till your done to put mine out." After Secret Wars, the Spidey issue that followed right after, J Jonah published a paper that said, "Where are the Heroes" then Peter showed up and so did the Avengers, etc and they said their goodbyes and went with their own titles, while Spidey went to his apartment and grabbed a pizza and went through his months worth of mail. And whatever happeed to the * next to the comic bubbles? In which they'd put a small yellow box that said something like, "*Check out X-Men #4" I haven't seen that in years!

Yeah I feel you on that. All the stories overlapping out of time sync just pisses me off. Not that were not smart enough to figure it out, but why should we have to when Marvel should just get there shit together?

I currently reading everything "X-Men" from Phoenix Sage to current and right now I'm in the 90's and they ALWAYS reference events with the "*". It's very helpful for refreshing your memory.

I don't know why but I just don't like this art. From way back in the Venom Carnage mini series with Toxin. I recognize the talent (unlike current jrjr) but for some reason it just seems to offend my eye and brain for lack of a better word. I guess it looks kind of creepy. Cool, unique covers but i could do without that certain style on the interior.. two of my favorite characters tho...

I want the real Venom back though, meaning Eddie Brock Venom. What I would like is that Venom was separated into two sides, one with evil Venom and good Venom. So that Brock could become evil Venom again and Flash could become Agent Venom. That would be cool.

The problem with this art, and a majority of modern comic art, is that the figure drawing is incredible, but the backgrounds are pretty much non-existent. The bottom right panel of the second page is the best background art on those pages.

Is there a trade paper back explaining how and when Flash was bonded with Venom? I think its cool, but it threw me off a little bit when I first heard about it and I never read up.

Gambitfreak and AlcoholicA - I was at the Emerald City Comic-con over this last weekend and sat in on a couple of Marvel and DC panels. From what they were saying, they DO talk to each other and communicate about what is going on story wise. But you still gotta work your own side story's out on their own, without having to bend to every single story arch happening. Also, the only reason there is as many titles as there are is because people are buying them. They were very adamant about explaining that if a comic gets cancelled, its because nobody was buying it, and if a character is featured in 10 different books at a time, its because people are. A lot of people asked about cancelled series and they were just like "yeah, we loved that series too. So why didn't you guys buy it?".

Plus, you can blame Hollywood. For better or worse, they have changed comic books forever.

Personally I really don't like Flash (after reading the Ultimate Spider-Man series). I think Eddie Brock is the best Venom.

I just picked up issue 4 of this series, and I was very pleased with the art and the story. The art is absolutely amazing to me. I really can't wait to pick up all the issues.

@TECHNODROME518- Looking at the art work, I want to pick up the first issue.

@TECHNODROME518-What would you rate the story on a scale of 1 to 10?

Cletus is no longer legless. They fixed him in last Carnage miniseries. ironman and spidey vs carnage. It was a very good read, just like this series is.

All Carnage art should drawn by Clayton Crane. If you are all wondering what Eddie Brock is up to. He is currently hunting down any and all symbiotes and killing them. He recently used his Anti-Venom symbiote to heal new york of the spider island plague thus depleting the anti-venom into nothing.

Why do Cletus and Flash look almost exactly alike? It's hard to tell who's who.

Also, I'm not crazy about where Flash Thompson is in terms of his character these days. I just don't buy it as a natural arc for the character (I didn't buy him losing his legs either -- that storyline was awful). But I do like the idea of having him tangentially connected to Spidey as Agent Venom.

I like superotherside's idea about two Venoms. That'd be pretty cool!

My main problem with comics is that every time they have a normal human character with the slightest hint of good character development, they pump them full of powers. You would have thought that they learned from those awful Jimmy Olsen storylines, but apparently they haven't.
