COMICS: Marvel Offers First Look At Matt Fraction's INHUMAN; Will Peter Parker Return?

After Infinity, Marvel and Matt Fraction will launch a new series called Inhuman as part of a line-wide event - similar to "Dark Reign" - called "Inhumanity" as the Terrigen Mists get released across the world. Does the Steve McNiven pencilled cover reveal the return of the AMAZING Spider-Man?!

Compared to Game of Thrones, Matt Fraction's Inhuman series will put the spotlight on the Inhumans in a story which will apparently see the Terrigen Mists released throughout the world. This will result in millions of Inhuman descendants around the world suddenly witnessing the activation of their dormant Inhuman cells, something which Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso promises will have huge ramifications. "There is a secret superhero kingdom, and you might belong there. What do you do? And what does Iron Man do? We’re turning the entire Marvel universe into a potential battlefield. And regular people are in the middle." This certainly sounds like an odd premise for the increasingly convoluted Marvel Universe, but the most interesting thing about the cover above is the inclusion of the Amazing Spider-Man, a seemingly resurrected Nightcrawler and a new costume for Wolverine. What do you guys think?

Wolverines new costume looks great, No sarcasm I really like it.

And Either this is just an artist drawing what he thinks he will get away with or Peter and Kurt really are back I guess the mist's could do that and if so I'm happy.

Seeing Surfer is way overdue, been too long there buddy.

Medusa's costume looks amazing, Wolverine's kinda reminds me of his debut kitty-cat mask, but the padding makes him look like he's in samurai armor. Pretty wicked.

And Nightcrawler!!

And frickin Yondu!!! THat's totally a sign that Michael Rooker is gonna be Yondu in the GotG movie.

Matt Fraction wrote a whole issue of Hawkeye starring Pizza Dog and it was from Pizza Dog's point of view.

Anyone who can write a whole comic from the point of view of a dog is a genius in my book.

I loved the inhumans back when my uncle would let me read his old books. He got me in to comics and drawing, I should start sketching again.

*shrugs* every issue of Superior Spiderman has so far been awesome to read. So was the rest of Slott's 200+ issue run.

His writing is miles and miles ahead of an actual hack, like Daniel Way or Marc Guggenheim.

Superior Spiderman has consistently been one of the best selling titles of all comics since its release.

It's doing so well in fact that Marvel has said they plan on keeping Octospidey around longer than originally planned.

I get that you dont like the story. Lots of people who aren't you love it though.

I love that Marvel has really embraced a lot of the 70s characters again....Shang Chi, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Spiderwoman, Carol Danvers, Star Lord etc etc

Its such a good time to be reading, I dont think the entire line has been this consistenly well-written in years. And such good art coming out too.

Finally a redesign for Wolverine! Nightcrawler isnt that big of a surprise seeing Angela alongside. Got no energy for anticipation and disappointment, but definitely a bit more curious about whats to come.
