I like the story, but the interior artwork....When did Romita Jr. lose his shit?

Seriously, this is a fantastic story. You guys should pick it up. It has almost even more of why Cap is who he is. It's Cap in a no win situation, in a world where everything is against him, where he has no chance, yet because Steve is who he is, he still does the right thing and over comes all the evil against him.

not enjoying this storyline at all,the artwork is shit & the writing could be better.

considering its from the writer of uncanny x-force & venom.

So when does this happen? Isn't Cap in like 3 other books right now that don't relate to this at all?

Awesome book! for those hating, i suggest starting from number 1 and reading thru...i can understand some people not liking the style of JRJRs work..but his storytelling skills has always been on point. Didnt think i would like this book but its been a pleasant surprise.

@ StarkAnthony

Good question. Cap is in a couple of Avengers books, isn't he? And he sure as hell ain't sporting face fungus and hanging out with a badly-drawn kid in any of those. But all of Marvel's books are like this. I can never tell when anything is happening anymore.

I completely agree with SUPEROTHERSIDE. This book is really, really good. And for me, JRJR's art never gets old to me. I absolutely love his flair on things. He makes the art his own.

And for all the people saying Marvel NOW! isn't doing too good, it helps to actually pick up and issue and read rather than judging from what you see on the shelf. Thor, X-Men, Superior Spider-Man, etc are all brilliant books.

The book is freaking amazing, the storys great. The only problem is Romitas art, it just doesn't work for cap
OxnardMontalvo

She doesn't need to destroy Captain America, Remender and Romita have taken care of that
niknik
niknik - 2/17/2013, 11:23 PM
Amen to that. Another hero destroyed by a "creative" team that know absolutely nothing about the character. I dont know who that is but it sure isnt any Captain America I've ever seen, and the artwork looks like crap as usual for JRJR these days. You have the bearded lady from the circus freak show on the cover and a toddler sidekick with a freakishly large head on the last page. Can't understand why anyone would pay real money for this crap.
