ON SALE: 07/02/2014 PRICE: $3.99

This July, big guns, big pouches, and big action all return as your favorite mercenary goes toe-to-toe with that band of militant mutants in DEADPOOL VS. X-FORCE #1 – the first issue in a bombastic new limited series from writer Duane Swierczynski and artist Pepe Larraz! Journey back to the long-forgotten days of the 1990s, when two characters made their thunderous debut and would go on to change the face of Marvel Comics forever.

That’s right – we’re talking about Cable & Deadpool! In this all-new tale, experience the duo’s very first meeting, well before their first comic book appearance together in New Mutants #98, as Cable and his soon to be X-Force race through the timestream to stop a reckless mercenary (that’s Deadpool!) before he destroys American history for good!

Join Cable and his band of mutants as they hunt Deadpool through the annals of American History before he can alter the space-time continuum as we know it! Can they stop him in time? Don’t miss the start of the blast from the past ride that will have everyone on the edge of their seat when DEADPOOL VS. X-FORCE #1 erupts off of the shelves this July!

We should never have left the styles of the '90s. Everything was perfect then.

This looks pretty interesting.

@NovaCorpsFan I remember you mentioned you're from the UK, so the fashion over there was probably better than it was in the US:

There is some great shows and cartoons from the 90's though:

Lol! I feel old now.

The brilliant 90s. Remember when Marvel started their own publishing company.

Anything LIEFELD related needs to be forever forgotten.
His "work" & that period mostly sucked hard.

Deadpool became cool by other writers/artists.
Comics history is mostly good stuff aside from some garbage in the 90's.

I hope X-Men Apocalypse finally brings back the suits and costumes that I grew up with in the 90's. This is like there last chance to really pull it off with no excuses. I really want to see Cable also. I can't see this next film coming out without him. There as not even been as much as a reference to him since the X-Men movies started.

Love the music, movies, and TV of the 90s. Hate the comics. Rob Liefeld, nuff said. Also Bucket Head Thing, Superman Red/Blue, Maggott, Thunderstrike, Azrael, the clone saga, Terry [frick]ing Kavanagh and Howard [frick]ing Mackie. And Jean Grey wearing this goddamned eyesore:

Remember the complete mess that was the Onslaught crossover? Which led to Heroes Reborn, when Liefeld was paid actual money to draw this:

Infinity Gauntlet
The Long Halloween
Peter David's X-Factor
The Sandman
From Hell
Hellboy
Morrison's JLA
Flex Mentallo
The Invisibles
Guardian Devil

Forgot Transmetropolitan, The Authority, Astro City, and Sin City. Yes, there were some great works in the 90s, but largely outside the mainstream.

90s was far better than what is going on now, from either big two. Writers and artist weren't afraid to try something new and fresh, unlike the new 52 and marvel now. Sometimes you get some weird and bad stuff when creativity flow, people with out a imagination wouldn't know anything about it. Some idiot always bring up big pouches and Rob Liefeld, but creativity was at its peak than.
