If people really wanted Peter back that badly then SSM wouldn't have been in the top 10 comics every single month of its run.

I can't wait for this! I'm a big Spidey 2099 fan. I've been enjoying Superior Spider-Man but definitely wouldn't mind seeing Miguel whoop Otto's ass.

Pretty pumped for this.

I don't mind the rotation of artists they have going on, but Stegman is my favorite. He is killin' it right now.


Also excited for Otto to face off with Kaine. Both of those Spider-Men should show Otto what's up, but no doubt it'll be good brawls.

Otto is a badass in Pete's body because of his lack of mercy.

Peter's coming back in about fifteen years when they reboot Amazing again.

My kids will know Spider-Man as Doc Ock, and have only heard about the real Peter Parker.

By then Mary Jane will be a milf, Aunt May will be dead, JJJ will be even older and now President of the U.S..

Norman and all of Spidey's deadlier enemies will be killed off by Ock, and Ock himself as Peter will now be mayor of New York City. That's right, Mayor Peter Parker. Vigilante and political figure.

Dan's Slott's writing is actually on these pages. It's just that his writing is so unimpressive and leaves such a small impact on the reader that you can't even see it. Huh, I guess he had talent after all.

though, I'm a fan of SM 2099, I'm not interested in reading Otto Octavius, I'll keep on waiting for Peter Parker to come back...

Marvel ruined Spider-Man for me a long time ago. They rectonned his marriage in the dumbest way possible just so that old hag May could continue to live for no reason, they killed Peter Parker in the most insulting way possible, they replaced him with a psychopathic villain who kills, maims, extorts, and contemplates rape, and they gave him a dreadful film reboot that makes Peter an unlikable jerk.

I don't see how much more salt they could possibly pour into this wound.

When they do try and bring Pete back I wonder if they'll reveal that Ock never really took over Pete's body but just implanted his memories in his brain to make him think he's Otto. It would be so crushing because he deleted all of his own memories! Sabotaged all of his relationships. All by his own hand. That would be some one hell of a evil plan beyond the grave. Time will tell.

I don't see how SM 2099 COULDN'T beat SSM. His own set of "spider-abilities" easily matches Ock's (and some even have more offensive capabilities, such as his bite and talons). And the idea of Spider-Ock using his technology against O'Hara is laughable. That would be like trying to hack the C.I.A. mainframe with an Atari 2600. Miguel would look at the SSM "spiderbots" and think "Oh! that's so cute" before breaking out into uncontrollable laughter. Miguel O'Hara is light-years ahead of Ock in tech. It will be an interesting confrontation but not one Ock would enjoy.

The original Spidey suit is the best but Spidey 2099 is a close second.
