This is my favourite Marvel comic at present. Beautiful art, a nice mixture of intrigue and humour and a great team dynamic.

I was mad in the last issue when Ock was taking those backward steps again. I'm actually looking forward to Cage and Jess beating him down.

Doc Ock has the right ideas, he just goes about executing them the wrong way. Every time he takes 1 step forward, he takes 3 huge steps back.

@tetrahedron Mulatto is rude. I know a lot of people aren't aware of that but it's what people call us to remind us we're an abomination of some sort

1) That variant cover is awful.

2) I can't think of anyone better to lay the beat down on Spidey-Ock than Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.

It's almost as if the writers at Marvel hate Otto as Spider-Man and want to make him suffer before his time as Spider-Man ends.

Powers and Abilities

Chronokinesis: Barbara is an Inhuman with the ability to slow down time around a single target or object. With more focus and experience with her newfound abilities she believes that she will be able to expand the radius of the area were she is slowing down time, allowing her to freeze groups of people and things instead.[1]
Abilities
Corporate spy: Prior to obtaining her super human abilities, Barbara was a well-trained corporate spy.[1]

Greg Land is, unfortunately, a fraud. He has made a living off the same mentality I had as a budding artist. You learn to draw people from magazines. It's why so many men and women look are flexing and posing for no reason. Musculature is learned from body building magazines, hair is learned from fashoion photography, etc. But Greg Land never outgrew this technique. It's fine to use life as a template. Alex Ross is a brilliant artist, and he has depicted how he will pose in a photograph to see how shadow falls, etc. But when you can crack open a NEW book illustrated by Greg Land and say, "Isn't that a picture of Marilyn Monroe?" He has blatantly used photos of Triple H for Wolverine, Terry Crews for Luke Cage, and many times a woman is carrying on a conversation and, for no reason, has her hand on her ass, the other running through her hair, and she's winking. Perhaps this doesn't bother everyone, but this is a major title for a continuously expanding company that I love, and I don't find this sophmoric approach worthy of representing it.

Um in reality Spidey would beat the shit out of Cage & his wife, but since that's Spidey-Ock. I approve lol
