There he goes, tracing his career away with that cover... *sigh* Why can't there ever be a good artist on Iron Man comics these days, one that could match the quality of the writer's work.

Didn't like when it was first announced, but that last page changed my mind.

Gary Land does a great job with the artwork.

I always try to be patient with artists and open to how they work but Land is really not doing it for me. His art is sometimes good but sometime unnatural and just looks off. I like the new suit more then I thought I would though. Maybe that page he put some work into ?

the more Marvel Now! takes effect, the more I think we will see less and less of the last Guardians of the Galaxy run in the movie and more of the Marvel Now! Guardians. It's to early to say wether that is good or bad, all I know is I REALLY loved the last run. I was excited to see that being displayed on the big screen. To early to say, even to early to say if Richard Rider will be the onscreen Nova or if little boy Alex will be in the new galactic coming of age thriller.....

Side note to JOSH: there it is, right at the top, the main page, Governor w/ his bloody patch. I can't remember clearly, but I think it was you who asked people to put spoiler warnings all over things. Right?

Well if they're gonna use the term "God Killer" in this issue then Marvel had better be ready for some media blow-back. That would be an awesome name for a new superhero though.

interesting that they are going back to a suit that requires a machine to put it on right when it looks like the movie will be dealing with Extremis. Also, is it a good idea to have a suit that only a machine can put on or take off when he will be spending extended time in space? Will he build one in the Guardian's base or ship or whatever?

Tony Stark "betrays an old friend". Wow! Great original idea there! How many "old friends" has that douchebag betrayed the last few years now? I've lost count.

Land is awful. How many times do you think he spanked it while drawing out that second page? Guy wants the D so bad.

I like the artwork here. It's much better than most of the crap in Marvel's titles, like the garbage that passes for art in Hawkeye.
