Now that Peter Parker really does seem to be gone for good, it seems as good a time as any to bring back Ben Reilly! The clone became a fan favourite character during the chaotic "Clone Saga" storyline in the 1990s, but ultimately fell at the hands of the Green Goblin. With The Jackal set to make life difficult for both the Superior Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider in the "Sibling Rivalry" crossover, it's certainly possible that he'll return...check out the solicitation details below - no cover is available as of yet - and then sound off with your thoughts on this news in the usual place!

Why not throw more crap into the stock pile that Slott has created with this Superior Spider-Man. Might as well bring back a story that was the worst Spidey arc until Slott came along.

Ive been asking myself the same thing. Where is Dr. Strange? And why hasnt he taken notice. Im sure he will at some point and we will see the return of peter parker.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I hate what Marvel has done with Spider-Man. I mean, I guess Ben could still be alive, since Mephisto changed everything, but this was a character that Marvel actually destroyed because the Clone Saga was hated so much. I even remember reading articles from writers and editors saying the reason they killed Ben the way they did was to assure the readers that Marvel would never bring him back.

Peter better end up back in his original body, and soon. Superior may be interesting, but I don't care about Ock and it isn't even really Spider-Man because he has a completely different approach and style.

I love Three of the four Web Slingers. Kaine more than anyone at this time. Scarlet Spider is a great series. Ben and Kaine are so different, then again the same being clones. Pete being gone pisses me off like no other, but I like the change of pace. Otto will have his moment in glory not being thwarted for the first time ever, as of YET. Ben and Kaine will know right away whats up with Octo-Pete. Ben is comming back to tell Kaine he has to go back to NY or something. I love Spider-man comics, Issue #400, Stan stated Him and Marvel took a huge gamble when he first put a teenager with everyday issues on the block to be Spider-Man. He was right it worked for a long time, now they are just stiring the pot. Madame Webb will "See" whats instore and have her hands in the Web. Kaine is going to kick the webbing right out of that body snatcher, and Ben will do the deed.Warren coming back makes me happy. This just may play out for Pete.
