Warning, the fowling top 10 list is based only on my opinion, you are allowed to agree and disagree.
10 - Iron Man 2
The reason why Iron Man 2 is so low (and if there were more than 10 Marvel movies, it won’t even make the top 10) is because that movies wasn’t good. Till this day Iron Man 2 is defiantly the weakest Marvel movies. I watched that movie few times, but other than few cool moments, that movie feels so pointless and it feels like a 2 hour promo to the Avengers (and not very good promo). It had two really bad villains, and there were too many story arcs for one movie. A sequel needs to raise the stakes, and Iron Man 2 didn’t felt like it. If the Iron Man movies were a TV-show, then this movie is a bad filler episode.
9 - The Incredible Hulk
Let’s face it, after 2003’s Hulk, nothing can be worst. The Incredible Hulk was ok for the most part. Edward Norton was really good as Bruce Banner, so as the rest of the cast. The movie had some great moments, but the movie also suffered from the same issue that almost every Hulk movie will suffer: not enough Hulk smashing! The few times that Hulk was on screen it was great, but let’s face it, when people go watch a Hulk movie, they want to see the Hulk. The Banner story is really good, but people want to see the Hulk. Plus the villain wasn’t good, and felt like just another generic bad guy who becomes a bad guy just because the movie needs a bad guy. And that is a big problem with the Marvel movies; there are too many terrible villains. But that post credit scene was sweet.
8 - Iron Man 3
For some reason, even after the terrible use of the “Mandarin”, this movie is still fun. It’s not a good movie, no by a long shoot, but there is a sense of fun about it. After all, who wouldn’t pay to see Robert Downey, Jr. do his thing? But if we look at this movie as the movie that ends the Iron Man trilogy (there will be a 4th movie, don’t worry), and the movie that sets up phase II, it wasn’t really impotent movie, it didn’t change anything, it didn’t set anything up for the other movies. Like Iron Man 2, this movie felt like a filler episode. They could have done something cool to set up Ultron, they could have opened the door to the magic stuff with Mandarin, they could have done lots of things, but they didn’t. I think that this movie did so much money because of the Avengers. Marvel was able to earn the trust of the people, so now people will go and watch any Marvel movie, even if it has a talking Raccoon.
7 - Captain America: The First Avenger

I remember watching the trailers for the movie, and I wasn’t very excited for it. I was never a big Captain America (and now after Winter Soldier, I am). First Avenger was ok, it wasn’t the best movie in the world, but it was different and that’s cool. Marvel suddenly took us back in time to WW2, and that was a risk, but it paid off. I think that if you watch the two Captain America movies back-to-back, you will enjoy The First Avenger even more. It was much gentler when it comes to set up the MCU. Thor and Iron Man 2 tried to shove every Easter Egg right in our face (hey look, a dude with a bow and arrow, hey look that’s Black Widow, hey look that’s Captain America shield, hey look that’s…), First Avenger just put those in the background, understanding that the fans are intelligent enough to understand things by themselves. First Avenger set up the Avengers in a nice why, and overall it was a good movie. Plus this movie introduced to us Hayley Atwell, so it gets a point for it too.
6 - Thor: The Dark World
Let’s be honest here, most people like Loki more than Thor. Loki is the best to date in the Marvel movies. People like him, even when he does be stuff. Thor 2 was a cool movie, and it was a fun ride. But my problem with Thor 2 is the main villain. On paper Malekith was supposed to be cool, but in fact he was just another generic bad guy. And yet again, Loki is the only villain in the MCU (at least for now) that has any depth and charterer beyond just being generic bad guy number 4. Plus, I still can’t get behind the whole Thor and Jane thing, it just feels forced and unlikely thing. But this movie was still cool and had really great and funny moment. Plus the death of Frigga was unexpected. Oh, and that post-credits scene was fun also.
5 – Thor
The only reason why I enjoyed Thor 1 more than Thor 2 is because I watched Thor 1 more times. The movie was very different then what came before. Plus I like good origin stories, and Thor’s origin story was really good, and that fight scene in Jotunheim was bad-ass. And this is the movie we first saw Tom Hiddleston as Loki, looking back and it feels like he was just a kid back then.
4 - Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Now that’s how you make a sequel! Winter Soldier is one of my favorite movies this year. I made me see Captain America in a very different light, and now I dig him, because the movie made him look like a real bad-ass. The movie had great stuff, I loved the chemistry between Captain America and Black Widow, and I’m glad that Marvel didn’t try to force a love story between the two. I like the political thriller approach, and I liked Falcon, who proved to be a great character. One of the only things that I didn’t like about this movie is the villains (of course). Alexander Pierce was a step-up from previous villains, but he was still just a bad guy. But my bigger problem was with Bucky: if the Winter Soldier character was removed from the movie, then 80% of the movie would stay the same. I feel like they didn’t realize the potential with Bucky and his relationship with Captain America. But, this movie is still great, and it proved that we don’t need any Magoffin or any other plot device to have a good movie. And that end-credit scene with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch was really cool. Plus, old Hayley Atwell is still hot.
3 - Iron Man
Here we go top 3! I will always love the first Iron Man movie. It was the first; it was the movie that started it all. And it was the movie that gave us Robert Downey, Jr. in his best. It was a movie that put Marvel on the map, and made us all dream about the Iron Man shit (I want one!). This movie was so good and fun, and that post-credit scene was historic. I can even forgive them for yet another generic villain.
2 - Guardians of the Galaxy
Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga…Haaaaa haaaa haaaa…I'm hooked on a feeling….I'm high on believing…That you're in love with me … Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga…I can keep this up all day!
Maybe it just because I watched Guardians of the Galaxy about 3 times in less 2 days, or maybe it because of that song (Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga…), but holy Ooga, this movie is freaking Chaka awesome! What can I say? I’m hooked on a feeling! This is one of the movies I want to see just before I day, hell, if this movie will be on while I’m having sex, I probably will watch the movie the forget about the girl (even if it’s Hayley Atwell, those two mountains…) . Everything about this movie just works. This movie is hilarious, and it is even better in some parts then Avengers. Who knew that a talking Raccoon will steal the show, and be one of the best film characters ever? Chris Pratt also was amazing, and he can very much be Marvel’s new RDJ. Ronan the Accuser is probably my only negative in this movie (yet another bad guy who is bad just because he is wearing black clothes and has a dark deep voice). The only reason why this movie isn’t number 1 is because…
1 - The Avengers
I don’t think I even need to explain. It’s just Th
e Avengers!
I mean, this is a movie that made 1.5 billion dollars, and it’s probably the best superhero movie ever.
It’s a movie that made WB swat in their pant, and rush to make their own cinematic universe.
It’s a movie that is loved by everyone, and everyone can enjoy it.
What else could be said, expect the fact that these movie is the ultimate proof that there is infinite money in comic-book movies, and every studio should make more superhero movies as soon as possible. And it’s very possible that because of The Avengers, we will finally get the Justice League movie we all been waiting for. But The Avengers is also a proof that WB needs something like Marvel studios and someone like Kevin Feige.
In the end of the day, Avengers changed the game.
I'm just joking, Hayley Atwell, I will never watch GOTG while having some bed time with you...
So...what is your top 10 list?
