Last night saw the penultimate episode of the seventh and final season of HBO's fangtastic tv series, and after the jump you can check out a promo for next week's finale. Will things end in true love, or the "true death" for Bill and Sookie?

In "Thank You", Sookie (Anna Paquin) weighs a future with and without Bill (Stephen Moyer). Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee). Sam (Sam Trammell) makes a choice, while Andy (Chris Bauer) comes upon an unexpected inheritance.

It's been quite a ride, but HBO's True Blood puts the final nail in the coffin next Sunday, August 24 at 9 PM ET. Have you enjoyed the show overall? I'm going to miss this show. Sure there have been moments here and there that have just been... wrong, but how many shows last 7 seasons without going there a few times?

Def better in the earlier seasons. I used to love it when Eric was a bad ass and not a total sap. But i've watched all the seasons.

That scene with Ginger and Eric... almost made up for this season :)As for a replacement show, I think I'm liking The Knick on Cinemax.

The show went down hill immediately when Show creator and runner Alan Ball left. the last decent season IMO was Season of the witch.

As long as I have Banshee, Game of Thrones, Strike Back and True Detective I won't miss this show much but I will miss Jessica.
