Someone's killing our super heroes. The year is 1985 and super heroes have banded together to respond to the murder of one of their own. They soon uncover a sinister plot that puts all of humanity in grave danger. The super heroes fight to stop the impending doom only to find themselves a target for annihilation. But, if our super heroes are gone, who will save us?

Watchmen (2009) was directed by Zack Snyder ("Man Of Steel"), from a screenplay written by David Hayter and Alex Tse. It's an adaptation of the comic book of the same name created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. The cast included: Malin Åkerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Patrick Wilson. On a budget of $130 million, the film pulled in $185 million.
