Someone's killing our super heroes. The year is 1985 and super heroes have banded together to respond to the murder of one of their own. Watchmen (2009) was directed by Zack Snyder ("Man Of Steel"), from a screenplay written by David Hayter and Alex Tse. It's an adaptation of the comic book of the same name created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. The cast included: Malin Åkerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Patrick Wilson. On a budget of $130 million, the film pulled in $185 million.
