Small Print is our roundup of some of the smaller CBM and non CBM-related news items that are floating around out there on the interwebs. It's been a quiet week (to say the least), but we do have some stories that should be of interest.
In today's edition, we have a new fiery poster for Screen Gems' Monster Hunter video game adaptation, a promo for the upcoming bonus season 10 episode of The Walking Dead which teases a face-off between Maggie and Negan, some photos of WWE Superstar Zelina Vega cosplaying as DC Comics villain Poison Ivy, and much more.

Colin Firth To Star In Zombie Comedy New York Will Eat You Alive
We'll start with some casting news.
The Wrap reports that Colin Firth (
Kingsman: The Secret Service) has signed on to star in a new horror comedy tentatively titled
New York Will Eat You Alive for STXfilms and Tencent, which is based on the popular Chinese
Zombie Brothers digital comics and anime series.
The plot revolves around "a group of New Yorkers traveling the city to survive and discover the source of a monster apocalypse and zombie outbreak."
Final Girls director Todd Strauss-Schulson will helm the project from a screenplay by Alex Rubens.
Monster Hunter International Poster
The
first trailer for
Resident Evil director Paul W.S. Anderson's adaptation of Capcom video game,
Monster Hunter, was recently released online to a decidedly meh response, and now we have an international poster featuring the team of Army Rangers facing down a fire-breathing Rathalos.
Milla Jovovich stars as Captain Artemis (a character created for the movie), who leads her team of Army Rangers to a location known as Wildspire Waste in an effort to rescue their colleagues from, you guessed it, monsters. There, they encounter Thai martial arts legend Tony Jaa as The Hunter of the title.
The movie is set to release in China before the US, though no date has been specified.
First The Walking Dead Season 10 Bonus Episode Teaser
The first promo for the upcoming additional six episodes of The Walking Dead Season 10 has been released online in the form of a virtual table read for an episode titled “Home Sweet Home.”
Though there's no new footage from the show, we do get an intriguing tease of the long overdue confrontation between Maggie and the man who murdered her husband in cold blood, Negan.
Season 10's six additional episodes are set to air early next year.
Square Enix Reportedly Lost A LOT Of Money On Marvel's Avengers
Square Enix's recent Avengers video game was met with decidedly mixed reviews from critics and gamers alike, and it sounds like the muted response may have cost the company some series cash.
According to developer David Gibson, the final cost of the game was somewhere between $170m-$190m, and only 3 million units were sold. Square Enix are said to be "adamant they can make a recovery," however.
First BTS Image From Ben Wheatley's New Pandemic Horror, In The Earth
Before Ben Wheatley tackles the planned sequels to Tomb Raider and The Meg (yes, that's actually happening), the English filmmaker will return to his roots with NEON's "secret" pandemic horror movie, In The Earth.
Production has now wrapped on the project, and we have a first behind-the-scenes shot of (presumably) Wheatley menacingly brandishing an axe.
In the Earth is expected to "deliver a timely story set in a world that searches for a cure to a disastrous virus as a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them."
The movie stars Joel Fry (Yesterday, Game of Thrones), Ellora Torchia (The Split, Midsommar), Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake), and Wheatley regular Reece Shearsmith (Inside No. 9, Psychoville), and is set for a theatrical release next year.
WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks Remains Tight-lipped About Mandalorian Role
We still have no idea who current SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks is playing in The Mandalorian, and The Boss is not about to start dropping any hints.
During an interview with Digital Spy, Banks kept schtum about her role, but did express her excitement about getting to be a part of the Star Wars universe.
"I am just beyond extreme blessed. I cannot believe that I am in two of the biggest universes in the whole world, with WWE and the Star Wars universe. I'm just like so in shock. I can't believe it."
There's speculation that Sasha is playing Star Wars Rebels' Sabine Wren, but there's really no evidence to back that up. Her character is expected to make her debut during next Friday's episode, so hopefully we'll finally get some answers.
Zelina Vega Shares Stunning Poison Ivy Cosplay Photo
Finally, we have a new costume photo from
WWE Superstar and regular cosplayer
Zelina Vega, who dressed as DC super-villain Poison Ivy for Halloween this year.
Vega, who is known for her impressive superhero and pop culture outfits, recently launched an OnlyFans account under her cosplay name Megan Minx, and you can find out more about that by heading over to The Ring Report.
