The cast of David Leitch's Deadpool 2 seems to have added a new member, and it looks like this latest addition might just introduce the Merc with the Mouth to the ways of the Skux Life. 

Ryan Reynolds has announced that Hunt for the Wilderpeople's Julian Dennison has joined the cast of the Deadpool sequel. The actor revealed the news with a photo through his Instagram account, featuring both Reynolds and Dennison on set in a pose that pays homage to the classic Yoda and Luke pose from Empire Strikes Back. 

While Deadpool is more of lone wolf, he's always open to some help, and judging from the photo Dennison's young character might just make the solo assassin consider taking on a young apprentice.

Deadpool 2 hits theaters June 1st, 2018.

As a New Zealander, it makes me happy that Wilderpeople did well internationally. The humour and banter is very "Kiwi" (it's based on a novel written by a very true blue Kiwi icon) so I wasn't sure if non-kiwis would get some of it. It's awesome that this movie has done as well as it has, especially as it got Taika the Ragnorok gig!

Is he embracing the deadpool persona more than the wade Wilson part? Maybe they start going for the schizophrenic side of the character

I was thinking maybe as he gets more and more traumatic head injuries he will get closer and closer to the current incarnation of poolguy

As of own he only has 1 knife/headwound.
A few more and we can add Bobcat Goldswaith & Patrick Stewart to his inner monologue

Hunt quickly became one of my all time favorite films ever, glad I was able to see it in theaters. Having this kid part of Deadpool 2 is just genius.

Well, jumped on amazon prime and watched it based on the brethren co-signs here in the thread.

I loooooooooved what we do in the shadows. (It's sort of one our family's movies)
So the whole fam sat down and watched it....
I showed them the trailer with Rhys and they were sold.

Def a great flic. Highly recommended, esp if you got kids or want something that isn't in "our usual lane" of movie choices as comic fans... hey, maybe even Date night! Lol

Deadpool and Hunt for the Wilderpeople are my kids favourite film of the year....cant wait till they find out that Julian is in the Deadpool 2 movie. They're gonna shit the bed.
