Bad Boys, Suicide Squad, Men in Black, Independence Day; Will Smith has had no shortage of blockbusters in his Hollywood career. But it's Smith's role as the Genie in Guy Ritchie's Aladdin, a remake of Disney's animated classic, that has officially become his most successful film in terms of box office performance.

According to Box Office Mojo, Aladdin now sits at $821 million worldwide, which officially makes it the highest-grossing movie of Will Smith's career. Independence Day was his previous highest-grossing film with $817 at the global box office.

@Urubrodi - Will Smith in the Marvel Universe he could play Doctor Voodo or Bishop :)

@DoubleD - This genie role aside, I don’t think Will Smith is gonna play a character unless they’re the star of the movie. Neither of those characters are gonna be stars of a film. Maybe Voodoo if Strange passes the torch to him, but no time soon. It’d have to be a race-swapped or CGI character.

@DoubleD - bishop is one of the very few dark skinned and dread haired black men in the marvel comics. I'd prefer a darker man play him. Jamaican descent perhaps. The dude who played as the villain in Luke cage season 2!
