DOCTOR STRANGE Honest Trailer Pokes Fun At Its Similarities To IRON MAN; "You Ever Watch Iron Man On Weed?"
Marvel's Doctor Strange finally landed on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD today, and to coincide with its home video release, Screen Junkies has debuted their latest Honest Trailer! Come take a look!
Director Scott Derrickson took to Twitter last week to celebrate the end of Doctor Strange's nearly four-month theatrical run, which resulted in a box office haul of over $675.9 million worldwide, making it the seventh-highest grossing film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Overall, it ranks ninth amongst superhero origin movies, domestically.
While the film received widespread critical acclaim, currently holding a rare 90% Fresh certification on the popular review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, none of that acclaim managed to help its cause when Screen Junkies gave it the ol' Honest Trailer treatment, which claims the film is basically the same experience as watching "Iron Man on weed."
