Over the weekend, we've seen a ton of great Doctor Strange set photos and now we have your first look at Mads Mikkelsen's mysterious villain and he looks wicked! Filming wraps & hi-res photos added!
After a highly secretive shoot, Marvel Studios has finally let the doors open on their late-2016 release Doctor Strange and we've thankfully been able to see plenty of Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Martian) suited up and in action over the past few days. Now, we've just received our first look at the mysteriously wicked-looking villain played by the incomparable Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal).
Dormammu? Mephisto? Blackheart? Nightmare? Kaluu? Who is this mystery villain? Check out the photos for yourself below and give us your best guesses on who you think he is in the usual spot!
UPDATE: Director Scott Derrickson has announced that Doctor Strange has officially wrapped. Now, the team heads into an extensive post-production phase as they prepare for its November release date. Meanwhile, Marvel Studios shifts its focus to the impending release of Captain America: Civil War and the upcoming productions of Spider-Man and Thor: Ragnarok, both of which will kick off this summer.
“Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
