X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE Actor Scott Adkins Joins Marvel's DOCTOR STRANGE
The latest addition to the cast of Marvel's currently shooting Doctor Strange is actor and martial artist Scott Adkins, who'll be most familiar to CBMers for his portrayal of Deadpool (well, what they passed off as Deadpool) in X-Men: Origins: Wolverine. More past the jump...
Following the news that Amy Landecker has signed on, The Wrap reports that Scott Adkins has also joined the cast of Marvel's Doctor Strange in an undisclosed role. He'll star alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton and Michael Stuhlbarg.
Though the character he's playing is being kept under wraps, apparently he'll "have several major action scenes featuring hand-to-hand combat." Scott Derrickson directs the mystical comic book adventure, which tells the tale of neurosurgeon Stephen Strange (Cumberbatch), "who after a horrific car accident discovers a hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions."
Doctor Strange hits theaters on Nov. 4, 2016.
