1. I didn't vote-I don't like Blob for starters, but I'm also considering the boycott of non-comic characters...

2. I voted for Doc Manhattan-does anyone know if magic affects Doc M? Anyway, I think Manhattan is just too much for Strange to handle...Strange is powerful, but it's not like he's god...Manhattan is.

3. I voted for Thor-Back to our little Thor debate we had a few days ago, as I said people who can defeat Thor are very hard to come by, and I just don't see WW being one of those characters...he definitely has her beat as far as skill and experience, also people tend to class her physical strength as in the same league as Superman, but it's not...I'd actually put her in the same group as maybe Thing? But still Thor's range of abilities is just too wide for her to handle...

I still say Hulk in the big fight, i think Flash might be able to stalemate him but other than that Im pretty sure he could take those guys...

As always I comment on previous fights: I totally agree with Blob beating Batman and WW beating GR, but Fate beating Strange? Hm...I'm not sure on that one.

1st fight -- movie character, no thanks

Dr. Manhattan vs Dr. Strange -- I have to wonder if Dr. Strange's mystic abilities are going to affect a being who exists on a quantum level, meaning that theoretically Manhattan exists on multiple levels of reality at the same time. But I am pretty Manhattan's abilities would make mincemeat of Strange's very human body. Doc M for the win, mostly likely by obliteration.

Thor vs Wonder Woman -- I'll give this fight to Thor every time. Diana's no slouch, obviously, but Thor's beyond her ability to cope with.

Is Juggernaut in these battles? I haven't seen him pop up yet, after all he was in that x-men film...he should be a big heavy hitter in here...he's such an underrated character I think, the same with Iceman...I haven't seen him in a battle yet either.

I'll take all the ones on the right today with Wonder Woman also winning the battle...Diana is never given her due respect...she is pretty much Thor without the Weather Manipulation...

I will always been in the group that thinks Supes can beat Thor...

@Fenix, yes they are but not used too often...for some reason @Witness likes to use movie comic book characters more than actually comic book characters...still waiting on my Fire Vs Storm match...

Dr.Manhattan vs Dr.Strange.Dr.Manhattan wins. While it's not clear whether magic can effect Dr.Manhattan,it's is clear that his powers does work on humans.

Thor vs Wonder Woman. Both are evenly matched warriors in skill and possibly even strength.Thor's lighting might not work due to Wonder Woman's braclets being made from Zeus's shield Aegis. So the deciding factor in this macth up is whether Thor will strike first with a hurricane or will Wonder Woman be fast enough to wrap him up in her her indestructible lasso which might incapacitate him.

In all hell breaks loose it's between Wonder Woman,Thor,Surfer,Isis,or Hulk.

They may work on humans but Dr. strange has mastered the astral plane. He could fight just as effectively from there while Manhattan would be powerless to harm him.

Manhattan is anchored by science. Magic is a realm beyond science and quantum physics. All strange would have to do is transport Manhattan to a dimension where physics works in the opposite.

Your argument about Superman is totally wreck by the fact that Superman is completely defenseless against magic. Thor's hammer settles that right then and there.

Blob

2nd fight- It's Manhattan's weak mind that gives Strange the advantage. Strange being a surgeon has to be confidant in his abilities and to have complete focus on a task. For those who would argue that Dr. Manhattan exists on a "quantum level" I would argue that since Dr. Strange can project Astrally, telepathically, and travel through different dimensions, he is on that same level. If you go from the stance that science is just explained magic, then that just further gives more credence to my argument. Dr. Strange is one of the most powerful beings in Marvel and one of the few heroes who could fight and defeat Dr. Manhattan. His skill set gives him similar if not greater powers than Manhattan. If you see that Manhattan loses to Ozymandias because he is distracted, and becomes disillusioned with his purpose. Though he "see's all time" he lacks the power and will to do anything to actually change anything. Strange's mind does not suffer this frailty. Strange wins.

3rd fight. Thor vs Wonder woman Great match, Their equipment is comparable, as is their skill set. This comes down to strength and speed. I think that Thor has this. While if you fought this 100 times it would be close every time the probabilities I feel are in Thor's favor.

@Spidey
Agreed on Thor beating Superman, I'd say their strength is about equal..,while speed is a very slight advantage that Superman has, but maybe not...Thor tool out Quicksilver who is supposed to be Marvel's Flash, so i figure he could take on Flash and Supes as well. But like you said Supes is defenseless against magic, all of Thor's powers are magic based so yeah...

@jojo -- an interesting argument, but while Strange can indeed astrally project, that's his consciousness leaving his body, while his body is left sitting there defenseless.

Now, we know Manhattan's consciousness can exist even after his physical body has been destroyed (hence why we know he exists on a quanutm level -- a level to which the normal rules of physics do not apply). But if Strange's body were destroyed while he was astrally projecting, would his consciousness continue to survive without his physical shell to anchor it? I'm not sure it would.

And since Manhattan can literally be in two places at once (as he was shown capable of doing in the comic), even if Strange's astral form were a threat, Manhattan could create a duplicate of himself to deal with Strang'es astrol form, then another duplicate to destroy the body.

This is actually a pretty interesting fight to discuss, I think. There's also an argument that could be made that Manattan could be immune to Strange's mystic powers because, unlike Manhattan, who can actually create energy, Strange's mystic arts are based on the notion of "borrowing" energies; any power he summons is being taken from somewhere else. He can't just create magical energy from nothing. But since he's only borrowing from a source of energy which already exists in another dimension, and if Manhattan exists in multiple dimensions and realties at once and is a mater of all matter of energy...

Man, I love discussions like this! They're far more interesting to me than "He'll win because he's Batman" lol
