flash is still the man tony stark cant touch him, but the last two fights are easy marvel wins

I totally agree with Relentless today...

1. I voted for Flash-I don't see how anyone in their right mind could vote Tony, I definitely think Iron Man is the cooler character (it's not that I dislike Flash, but I like Iron Man better) but Flash would beat him senseless, lol it's not even funny how badly Tony loses, I mean nothing Tony has can even get close to Flash's speed. One punch and he's out.

2. I voted for Hulk-he's already beaten a thunder god like five times already, A>B=C logic doesent usually work but in this case it does. All of his thunder bolts wouldnt hurt Hulk they'd just make him madder, and I don't remember him having super strength so it's Hulk for the easy win.

3. I voted for Spider-Man-he's stronger for one thing, not to mention faster and spider-sense cancels out the attacks before they come.

I've been supporting Odin in the fight but I'm open to discussion, also I think GR is being underestimated in there.

Flash vs Ironman.

I'm going with Flash.Ironman will probably try the same tactics that he would use against Quicksilver so he wouldn't exspect the infinte mass punch.

Raiden vs Hulk.

Raiden is Oden level powerful when not in mortal form.Seeing as he would NOT have access to powers in his mortal form Hulk smash.

Cyborg vs Spider-man.

Cyborg wins.

Ethyl Chloride aka pesticide

Spider-man win.

EMP grenade

Flash vs Iron Man -- yeah, Flash has got this.

2nd Fight -- pfft.

Spider-Man vs Cyborg -- Cyborg doesn't stand a blink of a chance. Spider-Man would tear him apart like he did Iron Man 2020. There wouldn't be anything left of Cyborg except his human parts.

@Fenix -- I went with Galactus for the Civil War. If he wasn't on the list I'd go with Odin, but while Odin is a god (not THE God; in the MU, that would be The One Above All) Galactus is the sole survivor of the previous universe and the source of the Power Cosmic; he could create an entire new universe if he wanted. He's been around billions of years longer than any god in the MU, and even pre-dates the Watchers and the Celestials. In order to defeat him, Odin would have to starve him; to starve him, he'd have to destroy every planet in the multiverse, and that's something Odin isn't capable of.

@LoudLon
Hm...you pose a strong argument but I'm not 100% sure exactly how powerful Odin is, isn't he also a near omnipotent character, and hasnt he taken on Galactus before? When he was hungry, but still he knocked him unconscious when using the Odin Force.

Azazel is more technical than them, he teleport everywhere odin kill everyone and azazel cut odin in the head !!!

#1: I love Tony much more, but he gets his ass handled to Flash. Tony relies on Tech, but tech is bounded to physics i. e. nothing is faster than the speed of light. But Flash is. Especially Tony's mind is not even close to the speed of Flash's mind's processes
#2: Raiden is living energy. Isn't he. So what could Hulk do against him?
#3: Cyborg: His speed/reflexes are enhanced as about the same level as Spidey's. But Cyborg's abilities are more diverse. I think this gives him the edge.
SpideyQuad
SpideyQuad - 2/6/2013, 6:58 AM
Seriously, the Flash ran around the world in like seven seconds back in the early 70s. Marvel Has some impressive speedsters, but none of them are 10% of the Flash. At his current power level the only advasaries that would have happened chance against him are those with similar powers (speed force). technically the flash might ruin the atmosphere if he cut totally loose, unless the speed force would prevent that somehow.

I would think the Incredible Hulk would have little problem with this guy, just based on how radon had a tough time in his own movie.

It's my feelings that Spiderman could care cyborg apart.

Galact stands besides the Celestials' and is considered an equal on par with marvels cosmic abstracts. The Celestrial's made short work of a seriously amped up Odin while using the destroyer and the Odin sword. Galactica's easily
LoudLon
LoudLon - 2/6/2013, 9:22 AM
@Fenix -- dammit, you made me doubt myself and I had to look Odin up in the OHOTMU lol

Odin actually has a lot of weaknesses. His power is totally dependent on his being in Asgard itself; while he is the most powerful being there, outside of Asgard his power wanes rather quickly. And of course the more he expends, the sooner he depletes himself and falls into the Odinsleep. He can't read thoughts, can't create life, can't bring anyone back from the dead; he can create interdimensional portals and can grant power to others, but his biggest offensive weapon is his energy-bolt attack, but it's nowhere near powerful enough to do much harm to a cosmic entity like Galactus. Strength-wise he's only twice as strong as the average Asgardian; Thor himself is physically much stronger (Odin can press about 60 tons).

Galactus' Power Cosmic, on the other hand, is immeasurable. He can alter matter at the molecular level, can time travel (Odin can't, incidentally), can transubstantiate matter. Put it like this: he gave Silver Surfer an almost inconsequential fraction of his Power Cosmic, and we know how powerful SS is. His only weakness is that if he goes too long without feeding he'll grow weaker, but you're talking, like, hundreds of years. When he first came into being in the new universe the energy he fed on from one single planet sustained him for centuries.

He's still not quite on the level of someone like The Living Tribunal, but he's about as close as it gets. He's kicked the In-Betweener's ass and gone toe-to-toe with The Beyonder; he lost that fight, but only because Doom syphoned the Power Cosmic from Galactus' attacks as they were en route to the Beyonder -- kind of like plucking a bullet out of the air after its been fired.

Anyway, from the looks of it Odin, while very powerful, is still a far cry from Galactus.

Make Mine Marvel today with Odin winning the battle...

Iron Man-As someone already mentioned...how does Flash fight against someone who can fly?...Also once the fight begins...The armor should be able to get a target on Flash...As long as Tony plays defense...I feel he could take him...Also in a chance encounter Barry isn't going to run around the world just to punch Tony...Plus if you pay attention...when Barry (sy guys don't like Wally)does this...after maybe one or two punches Flash is completely flushed...

GuardianDevil - 2/6/2013, 11:46 AM
@LoudLon
Well if that's an accurate description of Odin's power than thanks, the other part of my reasoning was Ghost Rider, now I know it sounds ridiculoud but couldn't Ghost Rider potentially beat Galactus? I mean Galactus has done a lot of bad things like eating planets with life, etc. shouldn't penance stare make him feel all that inside? Or is he too powerful for that to actually work.

Because my original reasoning when this battle royale first came around was that Ghost Rider could beat Galactus due to penance stare and then GR would lose to Odin because Odin hasnt done much evil in his day.
SpideyQuad
SpideyQuad - 2/6/2013, 12:36 PM
I say no because Galactica's is above good and evil he is an elemental force left over from a prior universe on tier with Death.

That's just my opinion, I seem to think there was a story where ghost rider unleashed his pentance stare at Galactica's but I'm not sure. I'll do a quick search
GuardianDevil
GuardianDevil - 2/6/2013, 1:14 PM
My other question is how did Sheena beat Hawkeye? Isnt she just a chick who lives in the jungle, she'd get beateb by someone as well trained and well armed as Clint.
LoudLon
LoudLon - 2/6/2013, 1:36 PM
@Fenix -- I'm not sure the Pennance Stare would work on Galactus. As a being composed entirely of living energy, there's no soul there to punish. He might LOOK like a corporeal being, but the idea is that visually he appears subjectively; a human would see him as a giant human, a skrull would see him as a giant skrull, etc. And as SpideyQuad mentioned, he's considered an abstract; a force of nature, the idea of heaven/hell/souls/etc. doesn't apply to him. He just Is.

Looking back at the history of Silver Age MU, I think the intention was that Galactus was intended to be God in the MU, or something reasonably close to Him; when you read his power set, this seems rather apparent. But as the decades wore on and more writers started experimenting with cosmic-type stories and various universal orders and pantheons, he was later delegated to the "force of nature" entity he's seen as now.

But again, reading his power set, he stands heads and shoulders above guys like Odin, Zeus, and the like. He is literally the oldest being in the universe; older even than the Elder Gods and Celestials. He's been around since before the Big Bang; in fact he not only survived the Big Bang, but that's the moment he became one with the Power Cosmic. So really the only thing that keeps him from being God is that he has to feed to survive, he's not omniscient and that it is possible for him to deplete his reserves. It would just take eons of him constantly, steadily expending it. Again, he is literally living energy, the embodied power of an entire universe.

However, let's pretend for a minute that he does have a soul. He's still acting only according to his nature; he's not truly evil, so yeah, that sets him above the concepts of good and evil, right or wrong. Like the In-Betweener, his existence acts as a kind of unviversal checks and balances. Basically speaking, he exists because he must. But as we've seen before, if Odin is taken out of the picture, he can simply be replaced (like Thor did). But if Galactus were to cease to exist, the universe would be in imbalance, and would collapse upon itself.

Man, this is cool stuff we're talking about here. I love this shit! LOL
GuardianDevil
GuardianDevil - 2/6/2013, 2:10 PM
Alright, you've convinced me I accept defeat. Galactus would take it, as you explained he outclasses Odin, Zeus, Thanos and most of the other "gods" out there.

I already voted Odin though, lol I'll go with Galactus in the next round.
