I am planning to do what the BBC would do if they would make a BBC version of the DC Universe. In this fancast, Gotham will be set in England. First I will be doing Batman. Sorry for doing this many times, but I need to do some more revision on my casting. soon I will be doing Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Justice League. Plus I added some new characters and some new twists for the characters.

Heroes and Police force

Jeremy Edwards (Hollyoaks, Holby City) as Batman/ Bruce Wayne

Colin Morgan (Merlin) as Dick Grayson/ Robin

Larry Lamb (EastEnders, Gavin And Stacey) as Alfred Pennyworth

Danny John Jules (Red Dwarf) as Lucius Fox

Philip Glenister (Life On Mars) as James Gordon

Zoe Tapper (Survivors) as Batgirl/ Barbara Gordon

Archie Panjabi (East is East) as Nazima Bhuiyan-Rahman- This is a Britsh version of Renee Montoya. As there are not many Latinos in Britain, I am making the character a Bangladeshi Muslim instead.

Eva Birthistle (Waking The Dead) as Sarah Essen

Steve Pemberton (League Of Gentlemen) as Harvey Bullock

Michelle Ryan (EastEnders)as Black Canary/ Dinah Laurel Lance

Villans, Crime Bosses and Extremists

Julian Bleach as The Joker- My take on the Joker is that he was originally an unnamed Young Jewish boy from Poland who was deported to Auschwitz by the Nazis. When he was there, his parents and his whole family was shot dead by the Nazis in front of him. With his parents dead, the Jewish boy was subjected to cruel Nazi beatings and experiments such as sirum injections (some which destroyed his pigment, made his skin bone white and his lips black) and fear gas experiments which scarred him both physically and mentally. When Auschwitz was liberated from the Germans, Alfred Pennyworth who was fighting with the Russians discovered the young Jewish boy, already showing Joker like traits like his trademark insane laughter and bone white skin. The boy was taken to an orphanage in Gotham. He was bullied by the other children and was called “Joker”, and he was angered what he learnt in history on how the Nazi’s Rose to power “Treaty of Versailles etc”.When he grew up, the boy became increasingly sadistic. When he was about 20, he left the orphanage, donned the Jokers trademark blue suit, dyed his hair green and adopted the name Joker. The Joker then committed some rapes and gruesome murders. Finally he was sent to Arkham Asylum, only to escape 30 years later. The reason I picked Julian Belach as the Joker is because of his role as the Jokeresque Nightmare Man in Sarah Jane Adventures. His Joker would be a combination of Heath ledgers and Mark Hamills versions.

Rita Simons (EastEnders) as Harley Quinn- If anyone can play the British version of Harley Quinn, It is the Sexy Blonde EastEnders actress, Rita Simons.

John Simm (Life On Mars) as The Riddler

James Nesbitt (Cold Feet) as Harvey Dent/ Two Face

Guy Henry (Holby City) as Scarecrow/ Jonathan Crane

Roger Lloyd Pack (Only Fools And Horses) as Hugo Strange

Anthony Head (Buffy The Vampire Slayer) as Ra's Al Gul/ Heri Ducard

Laila Rouass (Footballers Wives) as Talia Al Ghul

David Suchet (Poirot) as The Penguin/ Oswald Cobblepot

Kara Tointon (EastEnders) as Roxy Rocket

Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who) as Catwoman/ Selina Kyle

Gareth David Lloyd (Torchwood) as Black Mask/ Roman Sionis- rather than having a skull mask burnt to his face, he would wear a special black burn mask due to his face and head being burnt (Very much like the Doctor Who villan, Sharaz Jek).

Joe Gilgun (This Is England) as Victor Zsasz

Matt Smith (Doctor Who) as the Mad Hatter/ Jervis Tetch

Karen Gillan (Doctor Who) as Poison Ivy/ Pamela Isley

Billie Piper (Doctor Who) as Katie Hagan/ Clayface- I wanted Clayface to be a female model rather than a male actor. This version of Clayface is a mixture of the real life tragic model Katie Piper (who was disfigured by an acid attack) and the Clayface in Batman the Animated series.

Riz Ahmed as Sharia/ Sajjid Hussain- This is a new character that I have made up who is an Islamist vigilante who believes that Sharia law should be imposed. He was brought up in a Moderate Muslim family who opposed Islamism and was inspired by the Islamist Ibrahim Haque.

Jeff Mirza as Ibrahim Taj- he is an Islamist based on Anjem Choudary

Lesley Sharp as Imelda Hardy- Another new character who is a creepy cannibalistic woman.

Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf) as Ventriloquist/ Arnold Wesker and Scarface- Chris Barrie will also provide the voice of Tomar Re in my Green Lantern Fancast.

Shaun Dingwell as Victor Fries/ Mr Freeze

Goldie (EastEnders) as Killer Croc/ Waylon Jones

Peter Capaldi (The Thick Of It) as Sal Maroni

John Challis (Only fools and Horses) as Carmoine falcone

Mackenzie Crook (The Office) as Joe Chill

Ian McNiece as Rupert Thorne

Sarah Lancashire as Jessica Daggett- a female version of Roland Daggett

At least you've improved the format. I actually like it now, except for Colin Morgan as Robin. I can't picture that at all...

I like them all. I say have Joker be half Scottish half Jewish, mother being Scottish, where she was raped then killed in front of him. By the time he was 20 he went to go to Scotland where he was jumped by a gang for being a "freak", at this time though, he isn't that crazy. The gang give him a Glasgow Smile, what Heath's Joker had. Once he got this, he just cracks, killing the gang and a local witness. Then he comes back to Gotham and picks up from where your origin left off. (:

Also, I think a 50 year old Joker is a little TOO old, Make him Mid 30s early 40s.

Christian Bale is British, Michael Caine is British, Gary Oldman is British, Cillian Murphy is British, Liam Neeson is British. Just saying. But its good that you did a complete fancast rather than copying existing as it would be a new series rather than continuation of Nolan's films

Dude, I'm frickin english and, not that this is completely terrible, this just lacks that batman "edgy-ness". Like Frogman said, lots of good actors are british, use that to your advantage!
Other wise, this is pretty damn good with what you've worked with.

Not bad but these all-one heritage
fancasts are getting a little old.

What's wrong with the ACTUAL Batman.
There are tons of Brit actors in
NOLAN'S BAT-MOVIES, hell Nolan is Brit
himself.
