THE SIONIS STORAGE FACILITY
Joker rummages through a crate, and pulls out a rocket launcher.
Joker: “Harley?”
Harley: “Yeah Mr. J?”
Joker: “How did you know today was my birthday?”
GOTHCORP
Eddie walks into the main lobby. Everyone is dead. A gun and detonator are on the main desk. Eddie smiles.
Eddie: “Looks like Amanda’s been busy.”
Boyle is looking through papers at his desk. He leans back in his chair and sighs.
THE SIONIS STORAGE FACILITY
Harley is handing out guns, bullets, and clown masks to the Joker’s and Black Mask’s men. Joker looks on.
WAYNE MANOR
Dick walks into his room, and falls on his bed.
Bruce sits on his bed, staring at his cowl.
GOTHCORP
Eddie bursts into Boyle’s office. He points the gun at Ferris.
Eddie: “Boyle, I’m goiving you one more chance. Give me my damn company back!”
Boyle: “What the hell? Eddie, let’s talk!”
Eddie: “Give it back!”
Boyle: “Security!”
Eddie: “Security is dead! Now give me my company back! It’s all I had!”
Boyle: “Eddie, look-”
Eddie: “Shut up! I can shoot you right here. No one would know.”
Boyle: “You’d never get your company back.”
Eddie: “Shut up!”
AN UNNAMED LOCATION
Amanda walks into a dark room.
Amanda: “I did it.”
“You disobeyed a direct order.”
Amanda: “I saw the perfect situation, and went for it.”
“That doesn’t change what you did. No matter. You go to Wayne in two days.”
THE SIONIS STORAGE FACILITY
Joker looks at the huge pool of men in front of him. Each has two guns.
Joker: “We seize Gotham at daylight! Or when I feel like killing someone!”
THE BATCAVE
Batman climbs into the Batmobile, and drives to the Sionis storage facility.
GOTHCORP
Boyle has tape over his mouth.
Eddie: “I can blow this entire place up! You would lose your company, and your life! I wouldn’t have to live with myself. You can’t stop me.”
Boyle: “Mmph.”
Eddie: “What was that?”
He ripped the tape off.
Boyle: “I have a client coming.”
GOTHAM CITY
The Batmobile races through Gotham.
It comes to a stop outside the storage facility. Batman goes in. It’s eerily quiet. Batman finds a large duct on the floor, and goes in. Dead rats are in the vent, and soon, grates appear. Batman looks up, and sees all the goons in the huge room. Joker is at the front, smiling. He goes out of the vent, out the building, and into the Batmobile.
WAYNE MANOR
Batman nudges Dick. He wakes up, and punches Bruce.
Dick: “Oh man. I’m sorry. Thought you were...never mind.”
Batman: “Joker is planning an all out war in Gotham. We have to stop him.”
Dick: “You think?”
THE BATCAVE
Robin walks to the Batmobile.
Robin: “So...what?”
Batman: “You were right, Joker was at the storage facility. There were at least 200 thugs when I scanned heat signatures. Each had a gun.”
Robin: “Okay. That’s bad. Should I check the Batcomputer? Only one of us has to warn the GCPD.”
Batman: “I’m not going to.”
Robin: “I was right. Your’e insane.”
Batman: “Fine. Sorry. You were right. I’ll warn the police.”
Robin: “Okay. See you.”
THE GCPD BUILDING
Batman is on the roof. Arnold Flask comes up.
Arnold: “Hi.”
Batman: “Who are you?”
Arnold: “Temporary commissioner. Arnold Flask. What is it?”
Batman: “Joker.”
Arnold: “You do know he’s sane?”
Batman: “It was all part of his plan. I’m not sure if it was from the very beginning, or when he went to Arkham. Either way, it was all leading to this.”
Arnold: “So...what’s going to happen?”
Batman: “He’s at the Sionis storage facility. 200 or more goons. Each has at least one gun. I think he’s planning all out war in Gotham. I don’t know when, but get every man and woman ready.”
Arnold: “Damn. Okay.”
Robin: (via radio) “Um...Batman?”
Batman: “Yeah?”
Robin: “Well, it’s GothCorp. Apparently everyone in the lobby is dead.”
Batman: “I’ll look.”
GOTHCORP
Eddie has the gun to Boyle’s face.
Eddie: “Take your pick. Bullet, or bomb?”
Boyle: “Damn you.”
Eddie: “Wrong answer! Wait a minute. Let’s have some fun. I tell you a riddle, you answer it. If your right, then a bullet enters your skull. If wrong, then they’ll never find all the pieces. Shall we begin?”
Batman runs into Gothcorp. People are evacuating, some of the GCPD helping.
He looks at three bodies next to each other.
Batman: “No blood, except for one spot in the stomach. Strange.”
He enters an elevator.

Harley looks out a window. The sun is rising.
Harley: “MR. J!”
Joker: “What is it Harley?”
Harley: “Time to kill Gotham!”
Joker: “Great! Everyone, get your trigger fingers going, because people are gonna die! Now, everyone line up single-file, and nice and neatly, walk out the door. Then, when everyone is ready, go on a crazy killing spree!”
The thugs all cheered and ran out of the building. Harley ran to Joker, and kissed him.
GOTHAM CITY
Thugs are shooting civilians, and laughing.
GOTHCORP
Eddie: “Riddle me this, Boyle. The man who makes it does not want it. The man who buys it does not need it. The man who uses it doesn’t realize. What am I?”
Boyle: “What?”
Eddie: “Final answer?”
Batman comes to a stop outside Boyle’s office. Six people are dead. He checks their bodies. Each has a bullet in them. He enters Boyle’s office, and sees Nygma.
THE BATCAVE
Robin looks at the Bat-wave. It’s on the worst possible level.
He gets onto the Bat-bike, and rides out of the Batcave.
GOTHAM CITY
Police officers are shooting down thugs. Robin zooms past them, heading toward the storage facility. Towards Joker.
GOTHCORP
Batman punches Eddie, and rips the gun from his hand.
Batman: “What the hell is wrong with you?”
Eddie: “Want a hint Boyle? We’ll all need one soon.”
Boyle: “A coffin.”
Eddie rips out the detonator. He smiles, and runs out the door. Batman helps Boyle to his feet.
Batman: “Get out with him. He used six shots. I’ll glide out, everyone’s being evacuated. Move!”
Boyle: “Thanks.”
He ran out the door, and Batman opened a window. He glided out.
THE SIONIS STORAGE FACILITY
The Bat-bike is parked outside the building.
Robin scans the area for heat signatures. Only Joker and Harley. He smiled, and walked into the main storage bay. He pulled out his staff.
Harley: “Stay away from Mr. J!”
She hits Robin with a baseball bat. He deflects the next swing with his staff, knocks the baseball bat away, and hits Harley in the head. Then again, for good measure. Joker’s voice enters the room.
Joker: “You think you can beat me? I mean, it’s not like Bats is gonna save you? Now I’m not saying I’m going to win. I’m saying that you’re going to lose.”
Robin turned around, surveying the room, and was hit in the back of the head with a crowbar.
GOTHCORP
Eddie runs out of the building. A cop comes up to him.
Eddie: “Oh thank god. Officer, I’m so happy to see a man in blue.”
He grabs the man’s neck, and hides behind him, as police take out guns. Eddie pulls out the detonator, and presses the button.
A flaming chunk of rock falls in front of Boyle. Fire is evrywhere. Chunks of rock are falling. He runs out the door, to the cops, coughing. The entire building starts to collapse.
Officer: “We didn’t evacuate everyone who needs to be. RUN!!!”
Eddie surrenders, and laughs as he sees Batman glide away.
THE SIONIS STORAGE FACILITY
Joker hits Robin again. The crowbar is covered in blood.
Joker: “Hey, did you hear the one about the crow that walked into a bar? He got into a fight with a Robin! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!”
He hit him again. And again.
Joker: “Any last words Robin? No? Well in that case...”
He swung, and then Robin grabbed the crowbar. He ripped it from Joker’s hand, and hit him in the head. As Joker was on the floor, he slowly bent the tip of the crowbar on a metal box, so the points were sticking out. He kicked Joker’s face, and drove the crowbar into his chest.
Joker: “Oh my...that’s...not funny. Ha!”
And Joker died, smiling. Then Robin collapsed.
Batman ran into the building. He went into the main chamber, and saw Robin and Joker on the floor. The crowbar had fallen on the floor, and ripped some of Joker’s flesh off.
Robin: “B...bats.”
Batman: “Oh my god. Dick. Dick!”
He runs towards Robin.
Batman: “What the hell?”
Harley looks at Joker. She pulls out a walkie talkie.
Harley: “He’s dead. Everyone surrender or retreat. I repeat, Mr. J is dead!”
She ran out of the building.
Robin: “I...guess...you weren’t...the insane one.”
Batman: “Dick, don’t die.”
Robin: “I...you...you were...more of a father to me...-cough-...than John.”
His eyes closed.
Batman: “Dick, don’t die! Damn it, don’t die! I’m sorry. You were right Dick. I would have killed him. I would have killed Chill, and everything would have been different. I’m sorry Dick. I’m so damn sorry.”
Batman checked Robin’s pulse. Nothing. He picked up Robin’s body, and carried it out of the building. He walked to the Bat-Bike. He called in the Batmobile. It pulled up, and Batman put Robin’s body in. He climbed in, and drove to the Batcave. He took out Robin’s body, and went up to Wayne Manor. He placed Robin’s body on his bed, and simply looked at it. He walked away.
Alfred passed Batman.
Alfred: “How did it go? You have a meeting in two days.”
Batman walked past. Alfred hurried to Dick’s room, and saw the body.
Alfred: “Oh dear.”
Two Days Later
WAYNE ENTERPRISES
Bruce is looking at paperwork in his office, but not reading. The door opens.
Bruce: “Who are you?”
“We had a meeting.”
Bruce: “Who are you?”
“My name is Amanda Nelson. I work for Lazarus Enterprises.”
THE END
Now, I know this wasn't my best one yet, it may be the worst. But I have so many ideas flowing through my head right now, I couldn't really concentrate on this one. The next one, part six in the Batman Saga, will be the best, and final! It's coming soon! Not to mention a teaser for my new Superman series, coming soon!
