If you have following my fan cast you will notice that I have been on record and on board with the idea of an older Batman. Now that Warner Bros. have given us Ben Affleck (41) as Batman the next question is; What will the next Batman movie consist of? Who will be the villains? Who, if anyone will join Batman from the Bat Family? Here is my attempt at a fan cast.

Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne

I am on board with the direction of an older Batman and Ben Affleck is a really solid actor who can be both funny and serious. I think he was a good pick that can prove to be great.

Liam Cunningham as Alfred Pennyworth

Cunningham serves as one of many options for Alfred. I chose him because of his role in Game of Throne (recommended MUST WATCH) as Davoa Seaworth as trusted adviser to Stannis Baratheon. One the show he is loyal yet outspoken, he is gentle yet tough which are all the qualities I want Alfred to have in order to keep Bruce Wayne in line.

Denzel Washington as Lucius Fox

Bruce Wayne’s trusted business manager known to have the Midas touch when it comes failing businesses. Fox unknowingly supplies weaponry for cape crusader and runs Wayne Enterprises alongside Bruce Wayne. In this film I want Fox to know exactly what Bruce does but does not tell him kind of an unspeakable understanding, similar to Morgan Freeman’s character on TDK. I want him to be as smooth talking as Bruce himself and have a strong personality. Enter the smooth walking, slick talking Washington. No need to get into his history.

Bryan Cranston as James Gordon

Commissioner Gordon is either with Batman and depends on his vigilante acts or somewhat skeptical, that is dependent upon which comics and sources you read. For this movie I want Gordon to speculate that Batman is Bruce Wayne but does not seek to find out for 100% keeping plausible deniability. Gordon along with Fox will give Batman a realistic feel to how he is able to go around undetected because of their protection. Cranston was an easy choice though not original I think he is a tremendous actor who will bring out the best parts of Com. Gordon. Cranston is amazing in every movie and show he has been on. His range is great Breaking Bad, Argo, Total Recall, Malcolm in the Middle, and Driver to name a few.

David Tennant as Harvey Dent/Two-Face

Harvey Dent a kind hearted, law abiding citizen, and close ally to Batman until he was scared by Sal Maroni. Maaroni in a fit of rage tossed acid at Dent scarring the left side of his face and hand, also damaging his psyche. Tennant was over the top funny in Fright Night and was the voice of Charles Darwin in The Pirates Band of Misfits but, his Dr. Who performance was the reason I chose him. I think he'd be perfect for the good guy role Dent first plays and the psychotic role of the other half.

Alex Breckenridge as Poison Ivy

Poision Ivy one of Batman’s first criminal encounters. She enjoys showing her power over men as well as using her abilities to wreak havoc over Gotham City. She develops an obsession for Batman because she can’t control him. Alex Brekenridge was the choice because of her role as Moria in American Horror Story. She was sexy, seductive, and a touch of crazy which is exactly what is needed for Poison Ivy.

Johnny Depp as The Riddler

The Riddler is a character I wanted to see during the TDK series. He is one of the more popular villains Batman faces. For this movie I want the Riddler to not only be sadistic but have a funny element to him a well keeping him dark, edgy, and funny. Who is more capable of that than one of the greatest actors of our time Johnny Depp? No need to explain his history.

Mark Strong as Mr. Freeze

Mr. Freeze aka Dr. Victor Fries was a fantastic scientist who’s after wife became ill with a degenerative disease caused him to figure out a way to help save her. He freezes her in a cryogenic state while searching for a cure. He gets into a freak accident after the company supporting his projects and ultimately his wife’s life pulled the plug. The accident caused him to become cold blooded literally he must always be kept at below zero temperatures. Mark Strong is great actor he was great as Lord Blackwood in Sherlock Holmes and excellent as Jim Prideaux in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. He is perfect to bring out the qualities that make Victor Fries into Mr.Freeze.

Olivia Wilde as Catwoman

Catwoman is sometimes bad and sometimes good. She and Batman have a love/hate relationship. She is more of an anti-hero in this movie. She will do whatever it takes for her survival. She is sexy, beautiful, cunning, and smart. In this movie she will look to join Batman to help make Gotham a safe place and besides she can’t rob banks if they have already been cleaned out. Wilde is making a name for herself. She starred in Tron Legacy, The Change Up, and Cowboys vs. Aliens respectively putting on good performances and showing she is perfect for this role. Her sexiness and toughness is exactly what I look for in Catwoman.

Emma Watson as Barbara Gordon/Baatgirl

Barbara Gordon an highly skilled young officer of Gotham City and the daughter of Commissioner Gordon. She is one of many women to team up with Batman to go by the Batgirl alias but Gordon’s Batgirl is one of the more recognizable. Batgirl will not only serve as helping hand but the eventual love interest of Nightwing. This movie will be her introduction to the Batman family. Emma Watson is a fantastic beautiful young actress known widely as Hermione but her talents well exceeds that. Watson is an actress who would bring out the best in Barbara Gordon.

Josh Hutcherson as Dick Grayson/Robin

Dick Grayson is the first Robin who eventually goes solo as Nightwing. This film will introduce Robin into the Bruce Wayne family. Hutcherson is the perfect fit for a Robin who could transition to Nightwing. Hutcherson was excellent in Hunger Games as a heroin Peeta and as Robert in Red Dawn. This role could continue to propel Hutcherson into superstardom.

Dennis Cleveland as Young Grayson

Shake it Up’s Davis Cleveland will play a young Dick Grayson because of his funny fun loving demeanor. I think he will be fine playing the orphan that Bruce Wayne adopts.

This Batman will not be an origin story for Batman but an introduction for Robin and Batgirl. Some of the villains would have escaped from Arkham Asylum. This movie will also serve as a connection for my upcoming Young Justice cast. Please leave your comments good or bad. If you have read this before you will notice some changes. THANKS FOR READING.

Emma Watson would fail as Babs, it just feels like you chose the first teen to 20 year old you could think of. That goes for both Dick Graysons as well.

great cast if it were to happen. I wouldn't be surprised if they got Leo since they wanted him to be a part of the third bat film with Nolan. I think we can all be sure that Riddler will be the villain Batman will face along with another heavy weight weighting three stories possibly four with Cranston's Gordon and he will be Gordon because of Argo. Maybe night of owl could be adapted because that was a great story.

Solid casting for the majority of this page. I've really taken to your idea of Cunningham as Alfred having recently started watching Game Of Thrones to see what all the fuss was about. He seems like he could really find the perfect mix between the attentive butler and the ex MI6 agent.
However, I don't buy into your choices for Barbara and Dick. The two just don't hit that damaged/determined chord with me personally and to be honest I just can't picture Emma or Josh in their respective roles.

In retrospect, Hutcherson could probably pass as Tim Drake. To me, he would suit Tim's slightly more intellectual/outcast persona than Dick. But hey, just a thought.

@JorEllinator Not the case at all. There were a few other options I thought about before Watson.Elizabeth Olsen Kirsten Stewart, Kristen Bell, Shaliene Woodley or making her older with Jessica Biel. I just really like her as an actress, she is young, she does have a following so it helps. Josh wasn't an easy choice but I did consider going with Leo Howard, Joseph Levitt, Shia LaBeouf, Max Irons,Zach Efron to name a few. I always appreciate your comments though.

@cervantewilson2345 - I've heard about Night of the Owls but haven't read the comic the plot seems really sick and I agree does sound like a legit movie. What I like is that it can feature the Bat Family which would be refreshing. I appreciate your comments thanks for following

@TheSonOfKrypton - I had some alternatives to both Josh and Emma but I am confident they could pull the roles off. I do agree tat Josh lends himself more to Drake but I have another idea for Drake which is in my Red Hood story. I am going to revise it. Ultimately Josh as Nightwing is what I really thought about more so than the Robin character. Happy to hear you started watching GoT. Thanks as always for reading

@leXheX - I added Fox just as his business partner not his weapons maker plus I'm not sure the direction this new Batman will go but sense most of the crew is from TDK series I figure what the heck

Not a fan of your Robin choice(s). Don't know your Dent or Ivy choices.

The rest are pretty awesome.

@NightAvenger - she (Ivy) hasn't played in many things but her role in American Horror story is what got me. I'm gonna switch Dent. I appreciate the love.
