BatmanKnight Casts The Original Justice League

This is the list of the actors and characters I want to see in a Justice League film. I'm currently writing separate stories that will come together to become the Justice League. I'm ok with keeping the already established actors(Bale, Renolds)and cast my picks if the actors ever decided to quit before the movie comes into development. I picked Urban because he is a great actor and displays a look of a hero and could also appear as a nerd with glasses. He has not done a bad movie and he is a fan favorite for many CMBs but I think he would be best for this. He is powerful and dramatic and not too overly used.

Hawke has done some pretty great roles where he acts as a dark leader like in Hamelet, Daybreakers, or Gattaca. He has the look of a billionaire and the acting ability of a star.


Shes a beautiful actress that used to do some great movies. Why not bring her back with a hit. In angel she acted like a bad ass and could bring that to Wonder Woman.


Scott Speedman has the look of Hal Jordan and the charisma. He was a bad ass in Under World 1 and 2 and could be the jerk as well. He is a strong actor that would do well with this role.


Bartha is most known for comedic roles in National Treature and The Hangover. So it wouldn't be hard for him to bring that to The Flash. He also shows a serious look that he could bring forward when he goes into action.Also has a geek enough look to be a scientist.


I've casted him before in my Green Arrow stories and he would be great for a cross over. He is a strong actor with some great roles in the past to prove it. He has the look and the attitude to be Green Arrow and Oliver Queen.

I know LEE will probably hate this one, but hear me out. He definitely has the look and the strength to be the king of Atlantis. He probably wont be Captain America so there's no better way to stick it to Marvel than by joining their enemy.


Simmons is a strong actor with a strong look to be Martian Manhunter. I don't think Manhunter should be too old looking but more wise and strong as Simmons is.

@LEEE777--Hey! Both Cap and Aquaman have scale-mail shirts...

Also, I thought I edited my above comment to actually throw in some feedback, must not have taken... hmms, well, anyway...I like the majority of them, gotta give you points for originality (which is always nice to see in fan casts) I actually really like the idea of Ethan Hawke as Batman, it just seems to make perfect sense.

Urban would be an awesome Superman if they went for a slightly older take. I can definitely see him doing his own take of Supes and Clark while still retaining an obvious inspiration from the source. Good call.

I don't think I've seen Hawke act, he has a cool last name though :)

Carpenter would be a good WW, again if they went for an older version.

I don't really know about Speedman, I wasn't the biggest fan of him in the Underworld movies, but perhaps he has a bit of Hal in him.

Only saw Bartha in the Hangover, so I can't really say if I like him for Barry or not.

Nice pick with McGregor as Ollie. I can see him doing something really interesting with the role.

Jason Lewis sucks (in more than one way, BAZING!) ;)

Simmons is a decent choice for MM. I think he could work.

Hawke was one of my favorite picks. He's also one of my favorite actors.

Anil-Well i try to be original while staying true to what i want to see. What do you mean by unconventional?

InTyler Superman was hard to come up with. but as soon as i saw Urban i thought the same thing.

Hawke does have a cool last name lol. he has done some good movies. Gattaca was a good ovie and so was Daybreakers which is new. Check'em out.

You haven't seen National Treasure? I thought everyone has lol.

Nah, haven't forced myself to watch the National Treasure movies. The fact that it has the Cage as the star when he was in his, er, how shall I put this, less than admirable years, can be attributed to that :) But he does look funny in Kick-Ass I'll give him that.

If Lee seriously thinks the only reasons Craig is picked for Aquaman are his blonde hair and the pic of him in the water from Casino Royale, then he just entered the realm of douchebaggery.

Solid casting man! Haven't seen Carpenter in anything since Angel, she could pull it off though.

The only one I don't see is Speedman as Hal. Every movie I see him in is just Scott Speedman playing a part, he doesn't exactly dig deep into his roles if you know what I mean.

Love the Superman adn Batman casts. Hawke would make a very interesting Batman.

The rest is pretty good too the only one I can't see is Simmons as MMH.

LEEE: I think McKidd is a good choice as well. But Craig is bad for it.

Tyler: I hate cage too. he's a horrible actor, but the movie is good. The second one sucks though.

Dogs: I can see what you mean about digging into roles, but he hasn't exactly gotten many. I think he did good in Underworld though.

Great cast bud! :) I have my own choices for most of these but I cant fault yours (apart from Jason Lewis...but only because LEE's constant support for him to play Cap made me hate him, lol!) Your Wonder Woman choice is especially good!

Hmm. I actually considered seeing Karl Urban as Superman. Can he make an American accent?

I'm sure Christian Bale would do a Justice League film as Batman. Unless he's a snobby actor.

Charisma Carpenter's gonna be in her forties. I'm surprised she still looks good. But I haven't seen pics of her recently.

Ryan Reynolds is already playing Hal Jordan. Unless Warner Brothers and DC still insist on not bringing in established characters.

Henry Simmons might have too much of an urban tongue to play an alien. Laurence Fishburne all the way.

Urban uses an american accent in a lot of his movies.

Bale says that he wouldnt do a Justice League movie. Hell he hardly wants to do another batman lol.

Carpenter looks pretty close to the same. Shes still a hot cougar lol. I tried to go for older actors for Supes Bats and Wonder Woman.

Simmons can probably hold down his older toungue with some lessons.

DDD: Thanks man. I wanted to use older actors so they looked more official and less like a bunch of young people trying to fix the world. I agree that Fishburne is too old for Martian Manhunter.
