BIGBMH's Thoughts on the SDCC Amazing Spider-man Footage

I do my best to give an in depth description of the footage presented. I also speculate on the implications and context of some of the scenes.

Much of what I say here has been covered in some form by the article SDCC '11: Highlights From Amazing Spider-Man Panel; Description Of New Footage And LIZARD! . However, I do try to be a little bit more detailed in some of my descriptions. One thing I forgot to mention in the video was that I thought the costume looked pretty good in motion. I still think some of the design changes are unnecessary, but they're not distracting. Feel free to ask any questions in the comment section if you want me to elaborate on something. Clicking the "Like" button would be greatly appreciated as well. ;)

i feel like there's too much blue in the costume now. it just looks weird to me. i do like the costume, thats just a small gripe i have.

I am not looking forward to this film. There are so much more things that i want to see like Avengers and Dark Knight Rises. I have a feeling that this film won't do very well.

Man the footage sounds great. And this was pretty cool. Thanks for the information. This movie is one of my must sees with The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises.

@SUPER, Going by the teaser trailer alone, I wouldn't have really been excited either. However, I think there's a good chance this will turn out to be surprisingly good.
@Blaze, You're welcome. I think it's going to be a must-see too.

I actually listened to this whole spiel.. Very informative. kudos to @BIGBMH! Glad to know the wise cracks are IN. This movie seems to have gone very classic spidey in a sense. I'm very very interested in this film and CAN NOT wait to see it next year!

@NinjaCarn, To be honest, I wasn't really impressed by the Lizard, but I don't really dislike it either. I don't remember them showing very much in terms of swinging.

@MovieTheaterLad, I get what you mean. In seriously dangerous situations, it's not exactly appropriate for the tone of the scene. One book I read had Peter explaining to Mary Jane that it was part of how he coped wih these scary, dangerous situations. By making fun of the villains, he makes them less intimidating which helps him to fight them.
