My personal favorite Spidey villain is Mysterio, so why not put him in the story?

Okay, so my favorite Spider-Man villain is Mysterio. Now as we all know, the original Mysterio looked like this.



But come on, a fishbowl? So me and my friend budded heads to create this version of Mysterio.


Now, as cool as Mysterio was, I did not like his mask in the comics. And much like Christopher Nolan in The Dark Knight Rises, he changed Bane's mask from being a macho-man mask, he made it look BAD ASS!



Now come on, didn't that just look freakin sweet?! And yes, I did just make a Napoleon Dynamite reference.

It's cool, i'll give you that. But the fishbowl is ionic to me... In fact, pretty much all of Mysterio's appearance is iconic to me, so that's why i prefer not seeing it changed.

The fishbowl is actually more of a crystal ball, I think.

I still like your hood & side-cape, that gives another meaning to Mysterio.

Well, in the script, Mysterio is this sinister, evil, dark character. Plus, the mask inside is supposed to have a mist/smoke swirling around inside of it. I completely agree that the fishbowl/crystal ball is iconic to Mysterio's appearance, but I wanted a more serious looking Mysterio.

Has anyone seen Gerard Depardieu´s thriller Vidocq. Mysterio should look something like The Alchemist killer in it.

Just add the smoke.

Honestly, it's cool, but it's too cobra commander for me. Love the idea of the hood over the helmet though. Reminds me of the video game "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions"
