With things being as slow as they have been these last few days I needed something to occupy my time with so I decided to make up a fan-cast for a brand new fresh take on Batman. There's nothing wrong with Nolan's series, and the cast is outstanding, I just wanted to show you guys who else I think could fit the roles.
My Vision: My idea for a perfect Batman movie would be something extremely gritty, not kid friendly at all, blood, cursing, stuff you don't take your 10 year old to the theaters to see. But at the same time keeping things sensible and in the realm of what Batman really stands for. A nice mixture of Tim Burton's Batman Returns but grounded in some of the similar ways that Nolan has done with his Batman films.
Batman - Jim Caviezel OR Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
I wanted to go with a bit of an older actor for Batman this time around. I think either Caviezel or Morgan could bring a really rough and gritty take that we haven't seen before with Batman. I'd cast Caviezel as Batman bfore in my Justice League fan cast so I decided to cast him again because I still think he'd be great.

Jim Gordan -
Kiefer Sutherland.
This one is a bit of an odd choice I know, I don't think I've seen him cast as Gordan before but for some reason I just think Kiefer could bring something really unique to the character and blow us all away the same way Gary Oldman has done with Nolan's Batman films.
Lucious Fox -
Tony Todd.
I don't really know why I went with this pick to be honest with you. He just seemed to fit the role well. I also considered Ernie Hudson.
Alfred -
Jeremy Irons OR Hugh Laurie.
Irons is another strange pick here but personally I think if he could soften up his oice just a tad, that he'd be amazing as Alfred. He could also bring a sort of tough kick-butt kind of attitude that some incarnations of Alfred have had over the years in the comics. Hugh Laurie just seemed like kind of a cool pick for Alfred so I cast him on that basis alone.
Vicki Vale -
Eva Green.
Vickie Vale is a strong, smart, and very sexy woman, all qualities that I think Eva has and she definitely has the acting chops to stand up with the rest of the cast and be an amazing Vicki.
Harvey Dent/Two Face -
Thomas Jane.
What can I say, I like Thomas Jane, he's an amazing actor. He is a generally good-looking guy with an extreme harcore kick-ass attitude that Two-Face has/needs. Some people probably wont agree with me on this choice but I'm sticking to my guns, Jane would blow you all away.
The Penguin - Bob Hoskins.
Probably the least unique of all my casting choices so far, by c'mon, besides Phillip Seymour Hoffman, this guy is absolutely perfect. He's great with that viciousness that I think Penguin needs, don't believe me? Go watch Unleashed.
Harley Quinn - Diana Agron OR Amanda Seyfried.
Seyfried is a beautiful woman who knows how to kick ass. My main reason for casting her was I recently watched Jennifer's Body (Terrible Movie) and she really kicked ass in it. Agron I cast because it just seemed like an interesting choice and personally I think she could pull it off.
Black Mask - Jason Isaacs.
The guys creepy as hell, and he's a badass, what more could you ask for in a Black Mask?
The Joker - William Houston OR Vincent Cassell.
Ok frankly, I'm sick and tired of seeing Crispin Glover cast as the Joker, yes he's a good actor, and would do great in the role, but I'm just so sick of seeing that pick that I had to pick someone different. I got stuck trying to choose between these 2 actors because they both have that creepy, insane vibe and I think given the chance, either one of them would be great as the Joker.
Mr. Freeze - Robert Englund.
Englund was the first, and ONLY person who came to mind when trying to decide who to cast as Mr. Freeze, I just think he's absolutely perfect for the role.
Catwoman - Cindy Sampson
This one was a tough one for me to cast, Catwoman needs to be beautiful, elegant, & tough as nails, not an easy combination but Cindy has them all. There's a tonne of higher profile actresses who could fit this role better but I wanted to go with a lesser known actress for the role.
The Riddler - Damian Lewis
Another one of my choices that I'm not sure of my reasoning behind, he just seems to fit the role perfectly and I couldn't think of anyone I'd rather see in the role.
Comments in the usual place, hope you guys liked it.
