Matt Murdock was raised in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, by his father, boxer "Battling Jack" Murdock. From a young age, Matt was pushed to work hard in school so he wouldn't have to fight like his father. His father also worked hard to provide for him so he would have a better life. As boxing work became scarce Jack went to work for a local mobster, The Fixer, moonlighting as an enforcer in addition to taking fights. While his father was away though, Matt secretly started training himself on his father's equipment. While walking down a street one day, Matt noticed a blind man was about to get hit by a truck. He ran in front of the truck, and pushed the blind man out of the way. However, the truck was carrying radioactive waste, and some spilled out directly onto Matt's eyes causing him to go blind. With his vision gone, Matt's remaining senses of hearing, touch, taste, and smell became heightened, and he was able to "see" using a "radar" sense, that showed outlines and shapes. The radiation also may have had an impact on his mind as well, allowing him to retain information easily.Matt continued with his studies and his secret training regime. His hard work paid off when he got into Columbia to study law. It was there that he met his roommate and future business partner Franklin " Foggy" Nelson. During this time, Jack Murdock was enjoying some success in the boxing ring, so Matt got tickets for himself and Franklin to go see a bout. However, before the fight Jack found out that all his matches were fixed, and he was ordered to throw this fight. Jack didn't want to lose his match in front of his son in the audience, so he went against his orders and won the match. The Fixer did not take this well, and had Jack Murdock murdered that night.Shortly after, Matt and Nelson graduated from Columbia and started their own law firm Nelson & Murdock right away. After graduation, Matt also devised a plan to avenge his father's death. He made the Daredevil costume, and brought The Fixer and his second-in-command Slade to justice. And so "The Man Without Fear" was born.

Thanks comicvine for information.

Ben Mckenzie as Matt Murdock/Daredevil

As a child, Matt Murdock was blinded by radioactive waste while saving a stranger. In turn his other senses were heightened to superhuman sharpness and form of "radar sense". By day he is a successful defense attorney but by night he fights for justice as Daredevil: The Man Without Fear.

Ben Mckenzie is brilliant choice for Daredevil. He has similar physical details for role and he voiced Batman in animation film “Batman Year one”, so I think he is excellent for daredevil too.

Mark Valley as Battling Jack Murdock

The father of Matt "Daredevil" Murdock. Battling Jack was a boxer. He was told to take a fall in a boxing match but refused. In order to save his son, he placed him in an orphanage.

Mark Valley has perfect characteristic for Jack Murdock. He will look great in big screen.

Clint Eastwood as Stick

Very little is known about the mysterious blind master of martial arts known simply as Stick, a name he chose in honor of his favorite weapon. At some point Stick traveled to the United States and met Matt Murdock who would later become the crimefighting hero Daredevil. Stick not only trained Daredevil in martial arts techniques, but also helped him learn, control and eventually master his radar sense.

You know I think Clint Eastwood is the only who can play this character like none, and that’s why I chose him for this role.

Kelly Overton as Elektra Natchios/Elektra

Elektra is Daredevil's most fearsome enemy as well as his former lover. But she is most renowned as being the greatest assassin in the World.

If you have seen film “Tekken” you will understand why I have given this role to Kelly Overton. She has played similar character there, and I hope she will be the next Elektra.

Rachael Taylor as Karen Page

Karen Page was a secretary for Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson. Matt and Foggy immediately began competing for her attention which caused tension between the two friends until she revealed to them that she was in love with Daredevil. Eventually she found out Daredevil's secret identity and she and Matt Murdock fell in love.

It’s a little hard to say why I have chosen her as Karen, but in my opinion she will look in thisrole.

Taylor Cole as Angela del Toro /White Tiger

Angela del Toro is an ex-FBI Agent who worked on the Daredevil case. She became the White Tiger after the death of her uncle, Hector Ayala, the previous White Tiger, when she inherited his Jade Amulets.

Taylor Cole is great actress and this role is special for her, I’m sure.

Scott Bakula as Ben Urich

Ben Urich is a investigative journalist for the Daily Bugle who uses his knowledge of Daredevil and Spider-man to get information on the top criminals known to man.

This actor is than whom we need for this role.He can bring great Ben Urich on big screen.

Jonah Hill as Foggy Nelson

The best friend of Daredevil, and almost as good a lawyer as Matt Murdock.

I’m sure that you will like this choice, because Jonah Hill will make funny and awesome Foggy Nelson.

John Travolta as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin

The self-proclaimed Kingpin of Crime. He is one of the most prominent figures of organized crime in the whole US east coast. He is a mobster, the king of mobsters, controlling organized crime on the east coast with an iron fist.

I know that most of fan favorites are going with James Gandolfini as Kingpin, but I don’t see him as kingpin so much, and I choose John Travolta for Kingpin, because he is taller than Gandolfini and has potentials for role.

Jackson Rathbone as Bullseye

A deadly Killer for hire capable of using practically anything as a lethal projectile weapon with flawless accuracy. He is one of the most psychotic and sadistic characters in Marvel and serves as one of Daredevil's most dangerous foes.

Jackson Rathbone is very tallented and have all skills for this role.He has played similar role, and he suits for this role like none and I’m sure that he will make cool Bullseye, cooler than Colin Farell’s.

Colin O'donoghue as Larry Cranston/Mr Fear

There have been many that have gone by the name Mr. Fear. The third Mr. Fear was a classmate in law school of Daredevil's, Larry Cranston.

Colin O'donoughe is talented actor, I think that his acting in film "The Rite" brought him fame, but this is less I would want him play role of Mr.Fear which I think really suits him and I can see him like Cllian Murphy as Scarecrow, it is excellent.

Keira Knightley as Mary Walker/Typhoid Mary

Mary Walker is a sweet innocent girl who also happens to be a schizophrenic mutant better known as the deadly seductive Typhoid Mary. Frequently acting as a temptress to Daredevil and other superheroes, Typhoid Mary has used her undeniable charms to climb her way up the criminal ladder

She has played similar roles of this character, so that’s why I choose her as Typhoid Mary.

Eddie Marsan as Leland Owlsley/Owl

Leland was a wall-street wizard and got the nickname Owl by his peers. The IRS started snooping and revealed his ties to the underworld. Depressed, he took a serum that gave him the ability of flight. He has had several clashes with Daredevil, Spider-Man, Black Widow, and even Doctor Octopus.

Marsan has all reasons for playing role of Owl.He is a great actor and is suitable for this character.

Jamie Chung as Maki Matsumoto/Lady Bullseye

Lady Bullseye is an assassin that works for the Hand. A former sex slave of the Yakuza, she escaped after Daredevil's enemy Bullseye infiltrated and slaughtered the gang. His martial prowess served as the girl's inspiration.

This time I have decided to go with some fan-favorites and I have chosen Jamie Chung for this role.

Michael Shannon as Zebediah Killgrave/Purple man

A former spy, professional criminal, and would-be world conqueror, Zebediah "The Purple Man" Killgrave is a master mind-controller with violet-hued skin.

After seeing his acting skills, I was sure that Shannon is the only who can bring on big screen villain as purple man.

Derek Mears as Melvin Potter /Gladiator

Melvin Potter was one of the first enemies that Daredevil fought at the start of his super-hero career. Melvin was a costume designer who decided to become a criminal. He was obsessed with Gladiators, so he made and doned the costume and persona of a Gladiator. He has fought Daredevil and Iron Man, and has teamed-up with other villains and groups such as Maggia. was one of the first enemies that Daredevil fought at the start of his super-hero career. Melvin was a costume designer who decided to become a criminal. He was obsessed with Gladiators, so he made and doned the costume and persona of a Gladiator. He has fought Daredevil and Iron Man, and has teamed-up with other villains and groups such as Maggia.

Derek Mears is brilliant choice for Gladiator.I don’t see anyone else except him, because he is tall, big and strong guy which we need for this character.

Matt Dillon as Philip Wallace Sterling/Death-Stalker

Previously known as the Exterminator, Death-Stalker became a terrifying criminal after gaining strange powers from an accident with the time-displacer ray.

I think that Matt Dillon will manage this role, because he has played special villain roles before and had good results.

Scott Adkins as Francis Castle/Punisher

After his family was killed in the crossfire of a mob shootout, ex-US Marine and war veteran Frank Castle began a one man war on organised crime. Relying on his combat experience, he became the vigilante force of nature known as The Punisher!

There is no need to explain, because Scott Adkins is brilliant and the best choice for Punisher. None can argue about this.

Alex O’laughlin as Marc Spector/Moon knight

Moon Knight, Marc Spector, Steven Grant, Jake Lockley: different aspects of the same man, who was resurrected by Khonshu, the Egyptian Lunar-God of Vengeance and Justice, to serve as his "avatar", and perform various acts of vengeance and justice on unjust mortals.

This actor has played in TV series called “Moon Light”, so that’s why I choose him as moon knight, but at the same time he has enough dramatic abilities for this character.

Connor Paolo as Peter Parker/Spiderman

Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, which he could have prevented, Peter learned that "with great power comes great responsibility". Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became the Amazing Spider-Man!

I can say for sure that this guy is brilliant choice for spiderman, though Andrew Garfield is spiderman, and he is great but after a few years I think he won’t play spidey, because he is a little old for this now.

Gabriel Byrne as Wilbur Day/Stilt-man

The cheapest way for villainy Wilbur’s origin on how he became Stilt-man was probably by far one of the most cheapest ways in gaining a starting career as a super villain. Stealing hydraulic rams from his employer Carl Saxton, Wilbur used them for a designed battle suit that uses telescopic stilts, using this design for greedy purposes by robbing places and victims both ground and air. Starting a one-man crime spree wasn’t enough for Wilbur seeing how there’s no real appreciation for his suit, seeing how it wasn’t he who designed the main component, the hydraulic rams. Coming up with the most devious plan, Wilbur decided to hire attorney Matt Murdock in order to claim full credit for designing the hydraulics and that his employer, Carl stole the ideas from him. Instantly having both Wilbur and Carl getting into a dispute at his home and ending with Wilbur stealing another design from Saxton. This time Wilbur managed to acquire probably one of the most powerful devices ever designed, which was molecular Condenser, a weapon that could shrink and teleport any object or being. It wouldn’t be long after Wilbur pulled this crafty stunt that he would be facing Daredevil.

Gabriel Byrne is great actor and he has similar characteristic of this character, and his talents are enough for this role.

Darren Shahalavi as Ramon De Rico/El Jaguar

Latin-American criminal who had razor-sharp claws. He served as a troop leader of a fraction of Hydra, which was run by the mobster known as Silvermaine. He is one of many villains to die by the Scourge.

Darren Shahalavi is brilliant actor for this villain and has similar characteristics for role.

Jason Lewis as Frank Simpson/Nuke

With the American Flag tattooed on his face, former Vietnam soldier Frank Simpson was transformed into a killing machine under the Weapon Plus Program. As Nuke, and later as Scourge, he has been coerced into working for the likes of Kingpin and Norman Osborn against Daredevil and the Avengers.

Jason Lewis is brilliant actor and I can see him as Nuke, because he is the best for role.

Josh Pence as Edward Lavell/Eel

Edward Lavell took the mantle of the Eel from the deceased Leopold Stryke, and has upgraded his armor and technology to enhance his criminal lifestyle.

Josh Pence is brilliant actor and I have gecided to give him this role, because he is going to play role of young Ras Al Ghul in “Dark knight rises”, and role of Eel is a little similar to this DC comics character.

Lee Byung Hun as Duc No Tranh/Bengal

The boy who would one day grow up to be Bengal watched his village and parents in the central highlands near Bang Me Thuot killed by American GI's during the Vietnam War. American soldiers including Talltrees, Brasel, Janes and Fong were good at killing and didn't leave anything breathing in that village except Duc No Tranh who witnessed the massacre behind a hut. Duc jumped onto the runner of the dustoff chopper during an evac but was kicked in the face by Private Janes. Duc fell from the chopper and landed back into the jungle where he vowed revenge for his village and family. Duc became the Bengal and began to murder some of the soldiers that participated in the slaughter. Bengal would come into conflict with Daredevil as he tried to protect one of the veterans named Willie Lincoln.

After seeing his acting in G.I.Joe:Rise of Cobra, I can say that he is the guy whom we need for this character.

Karl Urban as Arthur Reynolds /Copperhead

Learning that Chesney was Copperhead and died, Arthur Reynoldsdecided to steal one of the armor costumes and become the new Copperhead. He wanted to steal an expensive urn but was opposed by the White Tiger and the Human Fly. Fighting on a pier, Copperhead was accidently knocked into the river and apparently drowned due to the copper armor.

He is very talented actor and he can bring this character on big screen.

Arnold Vosloo as Klaus Voorhees /Cobra

Klaus Voorhees was turned to Cobra when he let a cobra bite him to get away with a murder, afterwards consuming an experimental antidote. Unknown to him however the snake was irradiated in an experiment, and as a result he gained cobra like powers. Soon after deciding to start a criminal career, he was stopped by Thor. He then forged an alliance with Mr. Hyde, that continued for a very long time. They faced enemies like Daredevil and Spider-Man.

Arnold Vosloo is great actor. He performed brilliant in films of “Mummy”, so I think that this role is special for him.

Matthew Lillard as Jonathan Powers /Jester

Jonathan Powers was your typical struggling actor. One day it seemed things were going to turn in his career. He received a role in an off-Broadway play and it looked to be his "big break." The critics did not think so and the audience actually "booed" his performance.Bitter and upset, Powers began to study different techniques such as fencing and gymnastics so that he could earn different roles. He even started body building to spruce up his appearance. After putting in a lot of work and energy, he was only able to get a job as a comic relief on a kids' television show.Powers decided to give up his acting career and turned to a life of crime. Not settling for simple armed robbery, Powers approached the Tinkerer to set himself up with some gadgets to aid his new career. He called himself the Jester and started a crime wave using his new toys and gadgets.

Matthew Lillard is the best for Jester, I’m sure that none else can suit for this role like him.

Dolph Lundgren as Carl Burbank/Bushwacker

Bushwacker is a killer with an arm adapted so that it can morph into a variety of projectile weapons. Working for the Marauders, Bushwacker kills mutants for money. Despite this, he has claimed he himself is a mutant, although contradictory evidence suggests he is a machine.
His role in “Expandables” was great and had similar characteristic of Bushwacker.

Dolph Lungren will bring on screens this character, I think.

Ryan Hurst as Bullet

Bullet is a mercenary who serves as an agent of the United States Government. Bullet is a hitman for hire who has had encounters with Daredevil on numerous occassions.

This actor lookslike this comic book character and is very talented, so he can play role of assasin.

Eric Roberts as Silvio Manfredi /Silvermane

Silvio Manfredi has always been some kind of villain. His body is almost completly made up of cybernetic parts and he is almost like a human robot.

Eric Roberts is the best choice for this crimal role and at the same time enough old .

Cam Gigandet as Joseph Manfredi /Blackwing

This Blackwing is the son of the crime lord Silvermane and member of the Circus of Crime, Masters of Evil, Skeleton Crew and many others criminal organizations.

Cam Gigandet is professional villain player too, so I think that he and Eric Roberts will suit as father and son.

Joseph Fiennes as Daniel Brito/Fancy Dan

Fancy Dan Crenshaw is a member of the Enforcers, a gang for hire. Fancy Dan and the enforcers are normally seen confronting Spider-Man. He uses a pair of guns and usually does not let anyone touch them. It is common for him to end up with his hands webbed while grabbing both guns

Joseph Fiennes has look which we need for this character, so he will be Fancy Dan.

David Zayas as Jackson Brice/Montana

Montana has great proficiency with the lariat..He is also a long time member of the Enforcers.
He and the original enforcers, Fancy Dan and Ox make their first appearance under the employ of The Bigman , Frederick Foswell. During this time they have their first run-in with their longtime nemesis Spider-Man. During their first fight against the web-slinger, Montana's lasso skills initially prove successful but in the end Spider-Man defeats the Trio.

What about him, he is quite simple for this role, but at the same time, I can see him as Montana near Joseph Fiennes and Shuler Hensley.

Shuler Hensley as Ronald Bloch/Ox

The original Ox was a member of the Enforcers, but died in battle with Daredevil.
His twin brother currently holds the name and is also member of the Enforcers. He has tremendous strength and a large resistance to injury. Recently he has rejoined the Enforcers with Mr. Fear against Daredevil and the Hoods Gang.. After Mr. Fear was captured, Ox and the Enforcers were brought to see the Hood by his gang.

This guy has played role of Frankinshtain in film “Van Helsing”, so that’s why I have decided to give him this role.

That’s all.I hope you liked this cast of Daredevil.

- That's how I got my pick for Deadpool in my Deadpool cast: searching the DC Animated Universe. Ben would make a good Daredevil.
- Stick is an old man, but I don't think he's as old as Eastwood.
- Nice pick for Elektra.
- The name is Angela del Toro. I don't see a lot of Latina heritage in Taylor Cole.
- Great original pick for Ben Urich!
- Jackson looks to boyish for the role of Bullseye. How about going a little older?
- Keira would make an interesting Typhoid Mary. She plays crazy girls quite a bit, especially in A Dangerous Mind. I can forgive her lack of boobage.
- Jamie Chung has a rather bright deposition than Lady Bullseye is supposed to have. I think Maggie Q is better, although I'm not sure how you'd react.
- I can't see Scott Adkins as the Punisher. He's a stuntman, for crying out loud.
- I agree that an actor should play Nuke, not a wrestler. Though I'm not sure if Jason would pass as a soldier.
- Montana is a southerner, while David Zayas is anything but. You hear him on Dexter? He's a Latino dude.

The rest of the cast is pretty fair. I'll give you a B.

Also, check out my Deadpool fancast when you get to it.

I'm sorry but..Jackson Rathbone as Bullsesye, I was liking it up in until then, then i just audibly said "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR GOURD?"

Sorry, sorry no disrespect, and I actually like Jackson very much as a young actor but, Bullseye he is not. If he were anyone in this upcoming marvel universe I'd almost see him as more of a Johnny Storm.

For Bullseye I'd say go with Norman Reedus, allot more menacing

DD and Jack are fantastic!!!!!

I'm iffy on Elektra. The very white Jen Garner left a sour taste in my mouth and I'd prefer ethnicity.

Page and Urich are good-no Urich is great

Tigra should feel more latina, i believe

Travolta, i like but he's done mob boss in Punisher- so it doesn't fly with me

The next 5 are great-- nothing wrong there at all

No way is Adkins Punisher--- no way!!!

I feel you got lazy after that although Bushwacker and Bullet are good anyway.

If you did fall prey to laziness try not doing it all at once. save it go back and take your time

Not bad but DAREDEVIL is 6' and BEN MCKENZIE is only
5'9", not that bad of a discrepancy but I see MATT
MURDOCK somehow a little bit taller. But not all that
bad of a choice.

CLINT is too big of an actor and too old to play
stick.

The rest of this cast is great!

Wow, you included almost everybody!
lol

Lot of work here. Good job!

Great cast 789, very original, Ben McKenzie as Dare Devil is a good choice, he was good Batman for Batman Year One. I thought he was going to a bad job but he did a good job for a younger Batman, I can see Travolta as Kingpin, I saw FACE/OFF on Netflix a few nights back and I think he can pull it off and Punisher was another good film where he can play a villain.
I like Clint Eastwood as Stick, sucks he retired from acting if he didn't he would perfect for Stick or David Carradine.

Again very Original and good casting, keep it up.
