JoshW: Since doing my first Daredevil cast last year a lot of my choices have changed and so I decided to take a break from the video game casts and have spent the past few days putting this together. Rather than a reboot, I see this more as a sequel in a similar style to The Incredible Hulk with new actors but no origin and just a basic link to the previous (and in my opinion mostly decent) past movie. Enjoy! :)
The radioactive waste that blinded Matt Murdock as a child increased his other senses to a super-human level. He now brings justice both as a successful defence attorney, and as the crime fighting vigilante Daredevil, the Man Without Fear.
I cant think of anyone else who would make a better Matt Murdock AND Daredevil. His role as David Fisher in Six Feet Under showed that he’s an actor capable of a very serious, dramatic role while Dexter has shown time and time again that he can handle the action side of things and still deliver some amazingly intense performances. This is perfect for both sides of the Man Without Fear and would be ideal if they decide to base the big screen incarnation on the darker DD seen in recent years.

The roommate of Matt Murdock while at Columbia Law School. Matt protected Foggy while in school from bullies and in return he helped him study. After graduation, the two of them started a law firm and are best friends.
Though I enjoyed Jon Favreau’s performance in the last movie, this needs to be a fresh start and besides, he’s Happy Hogan now! Astin is a great actor and I think he’s the best choice to bring both a lighter feel to the movie while also delivering a great dramatic performance as Matt’s long suffering best friend.

My Name Is Earl
Karen Page was a secretary for Matt and Foggy. Both immediately began competing for her attention which caused tension between the two until she revealed that she was in love with Daredevil. Eventually she found out DD’s secret identity and she and Matt fell in love.
In my opinion, she was incredible in Drag Me To Hell and would make for a perfect Karen Page. She’s beautiful, likeable and a great actress - all traits perfect for playing this character!

Elektra is Daredevil's most fearsome enemy as well as his former lover. But she is most renowned as being the greatest assassin in the World.
I’ve only seen her in Push but that was enough to convince me that she would be perfect for Elektra. I’ve always been unsure who’s best for this role but I’d really like to see Belle get the part - she showed in that movie that she can pull off a cold, calculating killer as well as being able to show a nicer, more likeable side.

The self-proclaimed Kingpin of Crime. He is one of the most prominent figures of organized crime in the whole US east coast.
I know it’s a little bit of a cliché to cast Gandolfini in this sort of role but I honestly cant think of anyone more perfect. His work in The Sopranos showed that he knows how to brilliantly play a character like The Kingpin while he absolutely looks the part more than any of the other suggestions I‘ve heard.

The deadly assassin is capable of using anything as a lethal projectile weapon with flawless accuracy. He is one of the most psychotic and sadistic characters in the Marvel Universe and serves as one of Daredevil's most dangerous foes.
Yes, I want to see him play Captain Britain but as I tried to think of someone who would be a good fit for Bullseye, I couldn’t help but feel that he’s one of the best choices out there. I have a feeling that he’d be great at playing a crazy villain like Bullseye and unlike Colin Farrell’s version would actually be a lot more menacing and convincing!

Yes, I’ve cast him in a few other Marvel parts recently but I think he’d be more perfect for this role than any of them. Although it might seem like a minor role to give to such a great actor, Gladiator is one of my favourite Daredevil villains and I’d like to see someone like Strong do him justice.

Mr. Fear (Larry Cranston) was a classmate in law school with Matt Murdock. He holds a grudge against both Matt and Daredevil.
Unfortuantely I couldn’t find any pictures of Mr. Fear unmasked but I know from the comic books that Pellegrino looks perfect for the part. Regardless of that, the guy is a brilliant actor who’s shown in countless TV shows that he can play any type of creepy, sinister villain.

I used to like Jack Nicholson for this role but the more I think about it, the more I think that Hoffman is better suited to the role. Yes, many people want to see him play DC character, The Penguin but I think he’s much better suited to this character.

Typhoid is a professional criminal. Mary is a former actress. Together they spell trouble for Daredevil.
A great actress who I think is underrated, Brewster is perfect for Typhoid Mary in my opinion. From what I’ve seen her in I believe that she could pull off the both the normal, crazy and sinister sides of the character. I also happen to think that she looks perfect for the part!
