Geoff Stults as Hal Jordan/The Green Lantern
I wanted to cast an unknown actor that could quite possibly pull off the role of Hal Jordan, and I felt Geoff was the man for the job.
Rhona Mitra as Carol Ferris
Rhona is a pretty good actress and I liked the idea of casting her as a love interest for one of these JL lead up casts, and I felt Carol was the most appropriate pick for her. Besides, down the road she gets to go bad!
Jason Isaacs as Hector Hammond
Isaacs can be a badass, and he looks a lot like Hector Hammond in certain ways. I also just felt he was fine for the role.
Vincent Cassel as Sinestro
I was originally planning on casting Tim Curry, but I decided not too because I am trying to be as original as possible with these and Curry is often suggested for the role. Cassel has a good look for it and he could pull off Sinestro.
Adam Beach as Thomas Kalmaku
Why not?
Common as Jon Stewart/The Green Lantern
Common may not be all that great of an actor, but I think he has enough to take on Jon Stewart. After all, he is probably the best rapper turned actor out there.
Bradley Cooper as Guy Gardner/The Green Lantern
A popular fan suggestion and I am kinda cool with it.
Peter Mensah as Abin Sur
Peter Mensah is a PERFECT Abin Sur in my opinion. He looks it perfectly, his voice works and he has the acting chops.
Ron Perlman as Kilowog
Basically Kilowog is done with motion capture.
Daran Norris as Isamot Kol
Norris would simply do voicework and Kol would be CGI.
Sam Elliott as Carl Ferris
Why the hell not?
Zooey Deschanel as Lois Lane
A cameo thrown in there to show that a Superman fancast is coming up! Also, a test to see how people feel towards the idea.
Henry Cavill as Bruce Wayne/Batman
A cameo thrown in to setup the Justice League. Basically Batman recruits Hal Jorda ala Nick Fury in Iron Man.
