FAN MADE: My Title Treatment Attempts For THOR 2!

Make the jump and check out a five variations I have created depicting teaser banners showcasing my favorite title treatment for Marvel Studios' much-anticipated THOR sequel!

There isn't much known regarding actor Chris Hemsworth's 2nd solo outing as Marvel Studios' God of Thunder 'Thor.' However, we do know the Alan Taylor-directed sequel will explore new worlds, plus the relationships with Anthony Hopkins' all-father 'Odin' and Natalie Portman's "Woman of Science" Jane Foster. In addition to the return of Tom Hiddleston's mischief-maker 'Loki,' the horde of Asgardians and Norse creatures will expand.

One pivotal aspect of THOR 2 is just that; will Marvel Studios' 2nd sequel produced use "2" in it's title a la Iron Man 2? Or will the studio be more creative and make use of the many subtitles used in their films' source material? With that said, a friend of mine formally known as 'RimBreaks' has suggested TH2R: JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY. And I don't know about you, but couldn't be more satisfied with it, should it be used. And it has motivated me to put it on paper; or rather photoshop, resulting in the following variations:

One other thing that's known about the sequel it that it's due for release November 2013, with filming commencing this summer. Sound off with your thoughts below!

Not bad! When I was reading the description I had a hard time seeing it as Th2r, but seeing it as a title pic, it looks pretty awesome. Great job!

To be honest I think the "2" inside "thor" is tacky and I'm not crazy about the subtitle "journey into mystery" either.

Thor II will do, Cap might have his subtiles (Captain America: Super Soldier), and Iron Man his regular numbers lol Thor can only rock the Roman numerals :P

Not bad, but yeah, I prefer Thor:(insert name) or Thor 2, to the Th2r.

Cool stuff bro. :) I like the Journey into Mystery. Still Thor II is fine IMO.

I like that you called the film Journey into Mystery. That's a dedicated comic book fan! The posters are well-done too.

Hey, you haven't seen my recent casts this month:

- Gears of War

What TheRaven20 said, Th2r honestly looks a bit tacky indeed. Unless it's something like Tron (Tron: Legacy's initial/working title was Tr2n, with the '2' stylized that way that it fairly resembles an 'O'), I don't think it's a good idea to make a movie title with such way! But they are all totally well done, could use just a bit more texture to make it more like the first one, but overall, nice job. :) And I'd love to see Journey Into Mystery as the sub-title...though Thor II (like the one you used in the banner there) could actually work just fine, too. Either way, great job, man.

Personally, I'm hoping for just "Thor II"
