FAN MADE: Poster For BATMAN/SUPERMAN Movie Puts Josh Brolin Under The Cowl

Well, he's not actually wearing the cowl in the pic! But take a look at a pretty good manip of the Men In Black 3 actor as Bruce Wayne in fan-made poster for Zack Snyder's still untitled follow up to Man Of Steel..

This poster is the work of Deviant Artist Francus321 (link below). If the rumors are true and Snyder and WB are indeed looking for an older Batman for this movie, do you think Brolin would be a good pick? The above image certainly went about convincing me anyway.

I think it would be stupid to have an older batman. That just tells me they dont plan on a Justice League or a new Batman franchise.

Is he playing Grandfather Wayne like in Dark Knight Returns? If then I'd buy it.

But if this is the guy you want to stronghold the JLA franchise for the next decade... 57 yr old Batman doing somersault kicks and grappling from rooftop to rooftop?

Yeah, I'd prefer not to see that movie.

I've always thought Brolin would make a perfect Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

@thelight

i honestly think they dont now. I had faith when they announced Super/Batman movie. I was stocked. Now that I hear that they are going older with Batman is deflatting.

Either Josh Brolin or Karl Urban as Batman.

Also, camera work can do wonders.

@Levitkuz

You probably think that because he looks like Tommy Lee Jones from 20 years ago... when he played Two-Face. In fact, they even made a movie where Brolin played TLJ 20 years younger in MIB3!

@StrangerX

That's been debunked. Plus how stupid would it be for Batman to be retired by the time Superman comes around. No matter how much love you have for that spinoff, it would hurt ticket sales significantly if you said, "Batman movie! But we refuse to put Bruce Wayne in the cowl! Tough! This guy over here liked a cartoon one time so we're doing what he wants and we're throwing Billions down the toilet!"

Lol. I do think Tommy Lee could have been a good Dent/Two-Face if they treated him more serious.

I do like MIB3.

I think we need to bring back the best Batman ever.

That's right folks. Val [frick]ing Kilmer.

Don't like Brolin as much as the other possibilities.

Now that they are supposedly going for an older Batman, I'm pulling Jeffrey Donovan's name into the ring.

He's 44, he's a great actor, he knows martial arts, he has the look, and he's going to be free now due to him finishing up Burn Notice just a few days ago.

I'm curious - who do we think Superman and Batman are going to go up against? You know, besides Lex's fifth appearance....
Metallo and/or Bizarro actually make sense to me right now, though it is early in the morning.
Havenless
Havenless - 8/3/2013, 7:44 AM
@Superman

Jeffrey Donovan is my favorite choice too. But you have to realize JLA will be coming out 2015 at the earliest. Batman reboot would be then 2017 or 2018. If they want a JLA trilogy, we're looking at 3 years in between each movie so they can make them good.

Suddenly Jeffrey Donovan is walking down the red carpet for JLA 3 at 60 years old. He's younger than Brolin, but not by a whole lot.
