I hope you like this prologue Ive written called AIRBENDER. Ill try to keep you guys updated on this screenplay written by a fan of the series and disgusted by M.Nights interpertation of the series.
This will take place during the first season of the the series Avatar: The Last Airbender.
(Night time at the Southern Air Temple on a mountain)
[A bald Boy asleep in bed]
[He snores and shuffles in bed]
[A bald man rushes into his room with a lit torch]
Monk Gyatso– “Aang get up!”
Aang – [Rubs eyes] “Gyatso? Whats going on”
[a loud gong goes off then multiple]
[Then screams and lights light up an entire city]
[Gyatso looks scared on his face and pulls Aang from his bed]
Monk Gyatso – “You must understand me. They are coming for you”
Aang – “Me? Why me?
[Sirens and Gongs are going off like crazy]
Monk Gyatso - "I will tell you when you are safe"
[It starts to rain lightly]
[Aang and Gyatso start to go down different hallways]
[Far away shot of the Temple shows huge fireballs shot into the city]
Monk Gyatso – “It’s the Fire Nation.”
[Fire Nation foot solders are now entering the city]
[The lower level firebenders need the fireballs to create the fire]
[They start to burn the air nomads alive]
[Back to Aang and Gyatso running threw the field to the Sky Bison pens]
Monk Gyatso – “Take Appa. Ride to the Northern Air Temple. Raise the alarm.”
[Aang still half asleep understands its serious]
[A Fire Nation Captain jumps down and attacks Gyatso and Aang. They both fall to the ground]
Monk Gyatso – “Go!”
[Air pushes Aang and the Captain in two spate directions]
[Aang uses his air scooter and starts to flee but looks back]
[Gyatso and Captain start to fight]
[The Captain has learned to create fire from his chi. This catches Gyatso off guard but he dodges all the fire blasts easily with Air movements. Dodging in and out quickly. This angers the Captain]
[Aang turns a corner and a tear rolls down his face as he reaches the Sky Bison pen]
[Close up on Gyatso’s face as he notices Aang. He then stops movements instantly, closes his eyes, takes a deep breath]
(Like when Obi-Wan stops fighting Darth Vader)
[The Captain then does a massive fire blast that looks like a Dragon towards the camera]
[Back to Aang at the Pen who notices its on fire with Sky Bisons screaming in pain]
[He gets inside and jumps from beam to beam to get to Appa his personal Bison]
[He notices the others and releases them and they fly out threw the collapsed ceiling]
[Aang then jumps on Appa]
Aang – “Yip-yip Appa!’
[The Sky Bison roars ad they also fly threw the hole in the ceiling]
[They get outside the city and Aang looks back]
[The entire temple is up in flames with screaming in the distance]
[Aang turns back crying]
[A thunder storm picks up and they are now over an ocean]
[It starts lighting everywhere with Appa and Aang in the middle of it]
[They are in mid air flailing back and forth with Aang screaming]
[The Oceans waves are huge below with the lighting above]
[Aang and Appa fly right into the ocean]
[Aang enters the Avatar State with his Air Tattoos lighting up with his eyes]
[He creates a ball of ice around him and Appa]
[Screen goes black]
[Title Card- AIRBENDER: Water]
