We Begin...
With a monologue while CREDITS ROLL of BRAINIAC in search of the CRYSTAL OF KNOWLEDGE throughout the Universe destroying planets and variations of aliens. He comes across APOKOLIPS home of DARKSEID and a massive battle erupts between identical Brainiac drones and Darkseid’s forces. Brainiac loses and escapes. (Where he ends up in The Man of Steel)
EXT. WAYNE TOWER – GOTHAM CITY – NIGHT
IT’S DARK, THEN A BLINDING BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT APPEARS in a circle (BOOM TUBE). KALIBAK walks out carrying a BOOM TUBE DEVICE scanning for a computer. Finds the computer and connects it up and begins scanning for BRAINIAC!
Cut to BATMAN on the building opposite with binoculars watching a DARK FIGURE (KALIBAK) scanning computers.
Back to KALIBAK who begins finding traces of BRAINIAC popping up all over the globe (HUNDREDS OF DOTS FROM USA TO ASIA ALL OVER GLOBE)
KALIBAK
Ha-ha, finally got you BRAINIAC! Father will be pleased with me when I destroy you!
(NOT NOTICING BATMAN MOVING IN THE BACKGROUND)
BATMAN is now above KALIBAK on a support beam before dropping on top of him and sling shotting him away and notices the alien tech.
KALIBAK
Ha-ha-ha, you can’t defeat me little man!
BATMAN
We’ll see!
KALIBAK CHARGES AT BATMAN who dodges him and a fight erupts KALIBAK using his power and BATMAN using his AGILITY. BATMAN gets knocks in but to no affect and KALIBAK CONNECTS WITH BATMAN sending him flying. BATMAN activates a HIGH FREQUENCY EMITTER before re-engaging.
INT. DAILY PLANET BUILDING – METROPOLIS – NIGHT
CLARK KENT is working late at the Daily Planet with LOIS LANE on a story. He begins to SUPER HEAR the EMITTER causing him a nagging pain. He gets up and leaves into a nearby STORE ROOM changing into SUPERMAN and flies out of the window.
INT. WAYNE TOWER – GOTHAM CITY – SAME TIME
BATMAN is still putting up good fight against KALIBAK who is believes he is toying with BATMAN. BATMAN is stalling for SOME REASON and KALIBAK charges at him again this time predicting his REPETITIVE MOVE KICKING BATMAN out of the window. BATMAN falls but before he can GRAPPLE, SUPERMAN catches him and they fly back through the smashed window.
BATMAN
I can catch myself!
SUPERMAN
That’s funny I thought you called me? By the way, you wanna switch that thing off..
(BATMAN TURNS OF HIGH FREQUENCY EMITTER)
BATMAN
Your just insurance.
SUPERMAN
Insurance? For What?
KALIBAK CHARGES (AGAIN?) punching SUPERMAN into the shadows. BATMAN re-engages KALIBAK using agility and sticks on MINI GRENADE to KALIBAK EXPLODING sending backwards! From the shadows 2 RED EYES APPEAR before HEAT VISION is fired at KALIBAK sending him even further backwards before SUPERMAN REAPPEARS. KALIBAK activates the BOOM TUBE DEVICE forgetting to TAKE IT with him and it CLOSES before SUPERMAN and BATMAN can get there.
SUPERMAN
Well that was fun. Whoever “Pretty Boy” was left behind his toy.
(SUPERMAN turns to BATMAN to see he has already gone and puts the Device back down)
INT. WAYNE TOWER – GOTHAM CITY – SUNNY MORNING
Around 20 GOTHAM PD officers are in the R&D department watched by LUCIUS FOX who is stood with JAMES GORDON. BRUCE WAYNE and ALFRED PENNYWORTH arrive in the elevator. One OFFICER brings over the BOOM TUBE DEVICE to Com. GORDON in an EVIDENCE BAG.

Excuse me Sir, we found this.
(Handing GORDON the evidence bag)
GORDON shows BRUCE WAYNE and LUCIUS FOX

No, looks pretty advanced though. You seen anything like this Mr. Wayne?

(BRUCE eyeing it realising he COULD have took it LAST NIGHT)
GORDON hands it back to GOTHAM PD OFFICER

Well I have to go anyway, paperwork to fill out down at City Hall. The boys should finish up soon and you can have your building back Mr. Wayne.
BRUCE WAYNE
Yeah, Mr. Fox will deal with all that I gotta run myself. C’mon Alfred.
ALFRED PENNYWORTH
Yes Sir. Com. Gordon; Lucius.
BRUCE WAYNE and ALFRED PENNYWORTH leave as does JAMES GORDON. AN AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN in the background approaches the LUCIUS FOX who is starring at the GOTHAM PD OFFICER who is stood frozen. AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN walks up to them both.

My name is Detective John Jones. I’m leading this investigation.
LUCIUS FOX
Ok I think there is something up with your officer, he isn’t moving.
JOHN JONES (AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN)
Yes I know. I am controlling him to stay still. I’m going to take the evidence with me and you won’t remember anything about this conversation or remember my name.
LUCIUS FOX
(Laughs) Excuse me are you serious?
JOHN JONES then takes the EVIDENCE BAG and TELEPATHICALLY orders GOTHAM PD OFFICER to walk off and remember NOTHING. He then TELEPATHICALLY wipes LUCIUS FOX mind as well. JOHN JONES then leaves, unnoticed by EVERYONE.
INT. DAILY PLANET – METROPOLIS – DAY
LOIS LANE enters DAILY PLANET NEWSROOM and is greeted by JIMMY OLSEN. She sees CLARK KENT already working on a story.
LOIS LANE
Don’t you ever stop working Smallville?
CLARK KENT
Something went down in Gotham City last night, possible aliens.
LOIS LANE
Well I’m sure that is exciting but nothing “Front Page” happens in Gotham.
CLARK KENT
What about a normal citizen dressed up in an armoured suit fighting any type of crime with their bare hands?
LOIS LANE
Well there is that, but they can’t compare to Superman. He is the role model everybody dreams of, not a man in a suit who is wanted by the Police. Anyway, Batman only made page 6, Superman is page 1 everytime!
CLARK KENT
You still gotta admire the guy. Anyway, did I tell you Superman showed up and sort of double teamed the guy.
LOIS LANE
WHAT?
CLARK KENT
Superman showed up and they tag teamed the alien.
LOIS LANE

(CLARK KENT smiles at Lois)
INT. THRONE ROOM OF DARKSEID – APOKOLIPS – DARK FIRERY SKIES
BOOM TUBE appears and KALIBAK exits before it CLOSES. KALIBAK THEN STUMBLES TOWARD DARKSEID.

Father! I found him. I found Brainiac for you!
DARKSEID
I hope for your sake KALIBAK, that this time you are right.
KALBAK
I found him on Gaia.
DARKSEID
That primitive hell hole?
KALIBAK
That’s not all father, he is protected. By a Kryptonian.
DARKSEID

No father. He exists on Gaia and is protecting Brainiac, along with an annoying little man.
DARKSEID

ZOOM OUT FROM THRONE ROOM TO REVEAL THOUSANDS OF PARA-DEMONS AND DARKSEID’S ARMY WITH THRONE ROOM PURCHED ON A MOUNTAIN SIDE OVERLOOKING THE VALLEY’S FILLED WITH HIS ARMY.

We see presenter GREG NOLAN sat with LEX LUTHOR.
GREG NOLAN
Welcome back. Now in the last couple of years, our world has evolved from the only inhabited planet in the universe to a small fish in an infinite pond. During this time, we have seen the emergence of what people call “super-heroes” ranging from all types from aliens to just honest upstanding citizens. I’m pleased to welcome business mogul Lex Luthor on the show, he believes that while super-heroes are doing a good job of protecting our world, they pose a greater threat. Lex, tell us your views on this.

Thanks Greg. You see, the ever expanding number of heroes on our world only increases the number of villains that will appear. Escalation is what I’m talking about Greg. People who have been developing powers, let’s dub the term “meta-humans” have turned to crime to satisfy themselves and oppose these super-heroes for the fun of the challenge. If the super-heroes wasn’t here, there would be peace.
GREG NOLAN
But if the super-heroes wasn’t here, wouldn’t the meta-humans just take advantage anyway?
LEX LUTHOR
No Greg, because you could use them to good use. The US government would employ the meta-humans to protect American, in the humanly way we know, by protecting American and her interests from terrorists, where they can blow off steam.
GREG NOLAN
Well Lex there is speculation that your Government ambitions lead to the White House and that this is one of your policies?
LEX LUTHOR
Greg I will not hide my ambition, if you want something doing right, then do it yourself. That is what my old man always told me, which is why I started my own company. I look to working with good citizens such as “Superman” in the future, even if he is an alien and not technology part of this planet’s civilization.
GREG NOLAN
Well some super heroes are icons such as Superman. One such Icon is the fan favourite known as the Flash. He always has a word to say with the presses, we can go live to Emma Green in Central City where the “Flash Museum” is due to open with a grand opening by the hero himself, Emma?
INT. FLASH MUSEUM – CENTRAL CITY – BEAUTIFUL DAY
EMMA GREEN is stood in front of the Flash Museum with a camera on her.

Thanks Greg. Yes I’m here outside the recently constructed Flash museum. Any second now we are expecting the Flash to appear to open the museum. Wait... He’s here, the Flash has appeared.

A BOOMERANG is inserted into the podium, with a beeping timer counting down. Cut to reveal CAPTAIN BOOMERANG.

FLASH super speeds the mayor away as the podium explodes in a grand mini explosion. Flash returns and faces down Captain Boomerang.

Not this time Flash. You see, while I was rotting away in that prison, a few of the guys came up with a brilliant idea. Why try to kill you separately when combined powers will increase our chances.

CAPTAIN COLD, MIRROR MASTER, THE TRICKSTER and WEATHER WIZARD appear behind him!! Flash is thinking Oh shit! All of the villains deploy their weapons on Flash who begins super speeding. After avoiding all of their attack, Flash knocks Captain Cold’s freeze gun in the direction of WEATHER WIZARD freezing him in an Ice Block with THE TRICKSTER!

A SHOCKINGLY LOUD BOOM APPEARS OVER THE CITY. FLASH and the villains both stop to look up to see a much larger BOOM TUBE. A large alien spaceship then appears from the Boom Tube.

INT. COAST CITY – FERRIS AIR – SAME TIME
HAL JORDAN and TOM KALMAKU are in a hanger preparing for a test flight.

Looks like this flight is cancelled, look outside.
HAL JORDAN and TOM KALMAKU walk outside the hanger to see LARGE BOOM TUBES all across the sky with HUGE SPACESHIPS coming out of them.

HAL JORDAN
I know, this job never ends.
HAL JORDAN then lifts his up arm and transforms into GREEN LANTERN uniform with his clothes disappearing. He then flies up to the spaceships in a stream of green light. As he gets closer to one of them, he sees a thousand PARADEMONS on the ships. They then begin to attack Green Lantern who begins firing GREEN BULLETS from his RING.
INT. GATEWAY CITY – SKIES ABOVE THE CITY – SAME TIME
WONDER WOMAN is fighting HUNDREDS OF PARADEMONS attacking her from all sides. She is too powerful and easily destroys them but there is too many. In the distance, we can see GREEN LANTERN battling another herd of PARADEMONS. Continuously battling them, they see run into each battling the PARADEMONS in the sky.
GREEN LANTERN
Hello Miss, can I help you?
WONDER WOMAN
Yeah, get off my patch.
(Talking whilst continually fighting the PARADEMONS)
GREEN LANTERN
Your patch? Hey I was here first your royal Princessness!
WONDER WOMAN
When I have finished with these flies, I will show you how much of a Princess I am.
GREEN LANTERN

WONDER WOMAN

INT. METROPOLIS-GOTHAM FERRY – DELWARE BAY – SAME TIME
Numerous MASSIVE BOOM TUBES appear in the sky to the sound of a MASSIVE BOOM. The sea begins to get rougher as a cause of the BOOM TUBES. LOIS LANE, CLARK KENT and JIMMY OLSEN are on the METROPOLIS-GOTHAM FERRY on the BATMAN/SUPERMAN STORY.

What the hell was that?
LOIS LANE
I haven’t got a clue!
CLARK KENT

(Looking up and pointing towards 3 MASSIVE BOOM TUBES in the sky with SPACESHIPS coming out of them)
LOIS LANE
What the hell are they? Spaceships? Jimmy you getting this.
JIMMY OLSEN
Yes Miss Lane this is incredible.
(Zooming his camera lense in on the ships)
JIMMY OLSEN CONT.
There is like... gargoyles on them! CK you should take a look at this.
(Looking to Clark who has disappeared)
SUPERMAN is then flying towards the 3 Spaceships.
JIMMY OLSEN CONT.
Where’s CK gone?
LOIS LANE
(Whispering to herself) Clark disappears; Superman appears...
HUNDREDS OF PARADEMONS descend towards SUPERMAN and the FERRY attacking. SUPERMAN attacks the hundreds of PARADEMONS throwing them around like a baseball, at each other, punching them before using his HEAT VISION to slice them in half. He turns to see PARADEMONS attacking the FERRY. He flies back down to protect the ferry.
(One Parademon gets onboard the ship and corners LOIS LANE, JIMMY OLSEN and an elderly couple)
JIMMY OLSEN
What are they Miss Lane?
LOIS LANE
I don’t know Jimmy. But they are one ugly mother fu..
(LOIS LANE is cut off by Superman blowing it apart with his Heat Vision)
SUPERMAN
You guys OK?
LOIS LANE
Yeah. Yes. Thank You Superman. You better go.
SUPERMAN then flies to one of the 3 ships and begins attacking it, using HEAT VISION and also punching it to PIECES. All Parademons stop attacking the Ferry and come after SUPERMAN. In about 20 seconds he has the ship falling into DELAWAR BAY before going onto the next one.
INT. DOWNTOWN – GOTHAM CITY – DARK CLOUDS
BATMAN is on a roof top looking through Binoculars at the SPACESHIPS in the sky and the PARADEMONS descending. He then radios ALFRED who is sat in the BATCAVE surrounded by Computers.
BATMAN
Alfred, these things all over the globe?
ALFRED PENNYWORTH
Yes Master Wayne, America, Asia, Europe everywhere.
BATMAN
Contact Lucius, ask if he can figure out what they are and if there is a way to destroy them.
ALFRED PENNYWORTH
Master Wayne. There are hundreds of reports around the Globe. Superman, Green Lantern, Flash, Wonder Woman and others are fighting.
(We see footage of each hero fighting the PARADEMONS and ships)
BATMAN
This is going to turn into an epidemic. Try and contact Superman and Green Lantern.
(A figure appears behind Batman with a mysterious voice)
MYSTERIOUS VOICE
This will turn into more than an epidemic unless your people act now.
(Batman turns to see Detective John Jones)
BATMAN
Your people? The world is under siege and your splitting hairs on vigilante behaviour.
JOHN JONES
I don’t mean vigilante’s Bruce Wayne. I mean humankind. Your race is under threat from a force your race has not seen and your people must act before your planet is lost.
BATMAN

JOHN JONES transforms from AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN into TALL GREEN SKINNED MARTIAN FORM with RED EYES.

My name is J’onn J’onzz and I’m here to save your world Bruce Wayne.
BATMAN
How do you know who I am?
J’ONN J’ONZZ
I can see inside your mind Bruce Wayne. I can see the scarring as a little boy. The hatred of the man who killed your parents and how you use this hatred in a rage against the criminals in your civilization. I admire you Bruce Wayne of Earth, but know your planet needs your help.
BATMAN

To save your world, you must bring together a force so mighty, it will take Darkseid and put an end to his reign of terror across the stars.

AMANDA WALLER STANDS IN FRONT OF THE PRESIDENT ALONG WITH GENERAL SAM LANE AND THE CHIEF OF STAFF.

I’m with Waller Sir, Task Force X must be deployed if we have a chance of defeating these things. North Korea, China and Iran have all launched an offensive against these ships to no avail. There is some kind of energy shield surrounding the ships and our missile aren’t...

With all due respect Chief of Staff, these costumed vigilante’s aren’t on the government’s pay roll. Task Force X is waiting in the wings to be deployed.

You can keep firing missiles that are quite clearly not going to work, or you can use your full resources and deploy a super powered team to take out the Alien threat that has been knocking on our door for years.

J’ONN J’ONZZ flies through the window as BATMAN shortly follows via GLIDER.

BATMAN
I don’t know, we tend not to get into a fight.
J’ONN J’ONZZ

BATMAN
I have a pretty good idea. Also, Bruce will do just fine.
MARTIAN MANHUNTER goes to leave out of the window.
BATMAN
Would be quicker if I hung onto your coat tails.
J’ONN J’ONZZ
I didn’t think you liked to be caught.
BATMAN smiles as J’ONN J’ONZZ picks him up and flies towards SUPERMAN.
INT. UPPER EARTH’S ATMOSPHERE
Another BOOM TUBE appears, only this one is SERIOUSLY HUGE. You can immediately tell its the main bad guys. Out comes DARKSEID’S MOTHERSHIP settling 200,000 feet above the Earth.
INT. COAST CITY SKIES
GREEN LANTERN has defeated the 3 spaceships above COAST CITY and has used his ring to collect them in a GIANT NET and placed them in the see. He then flies away in a green stream of light, but stops and notices and hears the GIANT BOOM from outer space. Looks up.
INT. DARKSEID’S THRONE ROOM – DARKSEID’S MOTHERSHIP
DARKSEID is sat on his throne, at his side is KALIBAK and in front of him is GRANNY GOODNESS, DESAARD, MANTIS, DEVILANCE, AMAZING GRACE and GLORIOUS GODFREY.
DARKSEID
You are my elite! Bring me Brainiac and the head of the Kryptonian.
DARKSEID’S ELITE (In Unison)
Yes master!
DARKSEID’S ELITE then leave the throne room to initiate the second wave of the attack.
DARKSEID
Kalibak, why are you still stood there you bafoon!
KALIBAK
I’m standing guard father.
DARKSEID
I don’t need protecting Kalibak. Get out there and show me your worthy of being the son of Darkseid.
DARKSEID shoves KALIBAK to move as he leaves to oversee the invasion.
INT. OUTSIDE DARKSEID’S MOTHERSHIP
More spaceships peel off the mothership, DIFFERENT IN DESIGN to the first wave ships. Each one carrying one of DARKSEID’S ELITE that descend to Earth.
INT. SKIES ABOVE PARIS
GREEN LANTERN is fighting more ships carrying PARADEMONS. French Police are on the ground fighting PARADEMONS on the ground holding them off.
INT. NEW YORK CITY SKYLINE
SUICIDE SQUAD is deployed from a ARMY PLANE on top of one of the spaceships. They break in via PLASTIQUE and begin taking out the PARADEMONS operating the ship inside.
PARASITE
Damn these things are ugly!
RICK FLAG JNR.
Take ‘em out!
SUICIDE SQUAD begin attacking the oncoming PARADEMONS.
INT. OUTSIDE DAILY PLANET BUILDING – METROPOLIS
PARADEMONS attacking METROPOLIS PD. SUPERMAN swoops down and knocks out the PARADEMONS like bowling pins before giving a nod to the police who are grately.
SUPERMAN
Keep fighting you’re doing a great job.
SUPERMAN turns and flies back up to see BATMAN carried by J’ONN J’ONZZ.
SUPERMAN
Put him down!
BATMAN
It’s ok, he is on our side.
J’ONN J’ONZZ
We need your help Superman; to save your adopted world.
SUPERMAN
The whole world needs my help, I can’t stand around talking to you, I DON’T HAVE THE TIME!
Punching a single PARADEMON who attacks him.
BATMAN
That’s the point, don’t you see. We can’t defeat these things on our own, we need to combine our efforts.
SUPERMAN

BATMAN
So do I but I can see past my ego, can you?
SUPERMAN
(Pausing) What do you want me to do?

The Parademons are only the beginning. Soon a much greater threat will arrive and devastate the planet. We must act now!
SUPERMAN

We must recruit the strongest of your planet, to have a chance of beating DARKSEID.
SUPERMAN
I will beat Darkseid, just let me know where and when.
J’ONN J’ONZZ
You are strong Kal-El but don’t underestimate him, he is a powerful being.
BATMAN
Look I don’t like hanging around like this, you two can talk on the way l have things to do.
SUPERMAN

Revealing the BOOM TUBE DEVICE he stole from J’ONN J’ONZZ’s apartment. BATMAN jumps from J’ONN J’ONZZ’s grip and glides away as SUPERMAN flies away followed by J’ONN J’ONZZ.
INT. ATLANTIS – CITY UNDER THE SEA
AQUAMAN and his wife MERA are in the throne room of ATLANTIS along with their baby child. One of AQUAMAN’s guards BURSTS in.
ATLANTIS GUARD

SUPERMAN, J’ONN J’ONZZ and BATMAN are flying over the sea and notice a large machine in the sea.
SUPERMAN
What is that? Submarine maybe?
J’ONN J’ONZZ
Can’t be, there are no sea’s on Apokolips, only fire.
They fly down to see PARADEMONS on it operating it. SUPERMAN is about to take them out but is stopped by J’ONN J’ONZZ.
J’ONN J’ONZZ
WAIT! I can use them.
J’ONN J’ONZZ then telepathically reads the PARADEMONS minds’ and finds out it is a power station, powering the energy shields surrounding the ships.
J’ONN J’ONZZ
It’s a Power plant. Powering the shields surrounding the first waves ships.
SUPERMAN
Then let’s take it out!
Before they can though, the power plant echoes bending metal and begins to fall into the sea. AQUAMAN is stood on top of it watching it in defeat.
J’ONN J’ONZZ
We could use his help.
SUPERMAN
Agreed, we don’t have the time to do all the jobs. He can take out the power plants. I presume they are all around the globe that’s how these things go isn’t it?
J’ONN J’ONZZ

AQUAMAN sees them and believes they are behind the power plants.

HEY! I suggest you take your machines and leave before I destroy them and you!
SUPERMAN

AQUAMAN gives a nod of understanding to Superman and Martian Manhunter then dives into the sea and swims off to find the rest of the Power Plants, along with his Atlantean Guards. SUPERMAN and J’ONN J’ONZZ fly off to recruit more heroes.
INT. THE WORLD – CONTINENTS
The SECOND WAVE SHIPS much BIGGER than the first wave begin immobilizing around the world over each continent, KALIBAK goes to NORTH AMERICA, GRANNY GOODNESS goes to EUROPE, DESAARD goes to SOUTH AMERICA, MANTIS goes to ASIA, DEVILANCE to AFRICA and AMAZING GRACE and GLORIOUS GODFREY go to AUSTRALIA. They begin to order the Parademons and begin destroying cities.
INT. CADMUS HEADQUARTERS – WAR ROOM
AMANDA WALLER along with other leaders of CADMUS and the DEPARTMENT OF EXTRANORMAL ACTIVITES are in the war room with a map of the world. LEX LUTHOR storms into the room.

GREEN LANTERN then conjures up a massive amount of Ring energy and emits it like a bomb! It destroys all the Parademons in the surrounding area just as SUPERMAN and J’ONN J’ONZZ arrive.

INT. DARKSEID’S THRONE ROOM – MOTHERSHIP
DARKSEID has now got screens in front of him and is watching over the invasion. He has an update from each continent. GRANNY GOODNESS then appears on screen.
GRANNY GOODNESS
Darkseid! The Kryptonian and his friends are on the move heading back towards the north western continent (North America).
DARKSEID
How are the special weapons developing?
GRANNY GOODNES
Ready to go online within minutes Darkseid.
DARKSEID
Excellent, I expect the humans and the Kryptonian to begin their attack soon enough.
GRANNY GOODNESS

GRANNY GOODNESS then signs out. DARKSEID then contacts KALIBAK.
DARKSEID
Kalibak the Kryptonian is heading your way. I hope you won’t disappoint me.
KALIBAK

A bright Green light flashes as Hal Jordan recharges his GREEN LANTERN RING. He then flies outside to meet with SUPERMAN and MARTIAN MANHUNTER.

Finally, this seems to be going down really slow!
THE FLASH then zooms past at super speed causing a massive gush of wind going into the distance. A few seconds later, he returns and stops underneath the 4 heroes hovering in mid air.

Hey, flying dudes what is this super hero depression meeting, there is work to do get fighting the world is at stake here!

MARTIAN MANHUNTER begins to hold his head after picking up a telepathic message from BATMAN.

We should split up then we can cover much more ground.
THE FLASH

SUPERMAN
Flash you go with Hal. Wonder Woman can go with J’onn.
MARITAN MANHUNTER
Kal-El you go find Batman.
GREEN LANTERN
Doesn’t a secret identity mean anything here.
WONDER WOMAN
Ok let’s stop fanny about and let’s move.
SUPERMAN
Agreed.
SUPERMAN then ferociously flies toward Gotham. WONDER WOMAN and J’ONN fly off and GREEN LANTERN flies off followed by the FLASH on the ground.
INT. DOWNTOWN GOTHAM – GOTHAM CITY
LOIS LANE and JIMMY OLSEN are in the streets of Gotham reporting on the crisis. They see a police attack on the PARADEMONS led by COM. JAMES GORDON. They go over for an interview.
LOIS LANE
Com. Gordon Lois Lane Daily Planet, how bad is the invasion in Gotham?
JAMES GORDON
This really isn’t the time Miss Lane. Find something better to do and arm yourself being you get yourself killed.
LOIS LANE
It’s part of my job, this will probably be the only story on the invasion and is an exclusive, don’t you want to be a part of it.
JAMES GORDON
Sorry Miss Lane I have a duty to attend. Can somebody get these people out of here to safety.
An officer then escorts LOIS LANE and JIMMY OLSEN away from the battle ground.
INT. KALIBAK’S SHIP
KALIBAK is standing in the bridge of the SPACESHIP.
KALIBAK MINION
There is an attack on the west side sir!
KALIBAK
Get it on the screen!
Screen reveals the SUICIDE SQUAD attacking the ship.
KALIBAK (cont.)
I’ll deal with these myself.
KALIBAK then goes outside onto the wing of the spaceship and engages the SUICIDE SQUAD. DEADSHOT and RICK FLAG JNR. Fire their weapons to no avail as COUNT VERTIGO uses his VERIGO EFFECT on Kalibak sending him flying into PLASTIQUE knocking her off the ship falling to the ground.
RICK FLAG JNR.
PLASTIQUE!!
KALIBAK then attack Count Vertigo and sends him flying into Parasite who accidently steals his powers and makes himself lose his own balance not being used to his powers sending them both over the side of the wing. Kalibak regains his balance and turns to see DEADSHOT and RICK FLAG JNR. Left standing before smiling as the two look at each other with a grim face.
INT. BATCAVE – GOTHAM CITY
BATMAN is in the BATCAVE along with LUCIUS FOX and ALFRED PENNYWORTH working on the BOOM TUBE DEVICE. SUPERMAN flies into the BATCAVE through the waterfall.
BATMAN
Why aren’t you out there helping?
SUPERMAN
The Martian told me to come to you. What is that?
BATMAN
It is the Black Hole device a bit modified.
SUPERMAN

LUCIUS FOX
We have essentially made it into a bomb, but on a much larger scale enhancing the black hole creator.
SUPERMAN
Ok so what we make copies.

No. We put this in the Mother Ship or you put it in the Mother Ship.
ALFRED PENNYWORTH
Master Wayne I think you should look at this.
ALFRED is watching the screens which are all filled with an image of Darkseid’s throne room. DARKSEID then appears himself.

People of Gaia you have fought nobly. I admire your resilience and courage against a force you couldn’t have imaged. But the time is now to cut your losses and save your race from extinction.

INT. BATCAVE – GOTHAM CITY
As the message is being played, BATARANG is thrown into the screen to stop it playing.

I bloody hate villain monologues!
BATMAN, SUPERMAN and LUCIUS FOX smile.
INT. SKY – KALIBAKS SHIP
GREEN LANTERN and FLASH who is in a bubble from GREEN LANTERN’S RING land on KALIBAK’S SHIP.
MINION
A second attack sir!
KALIBAK
Now this is a proper fight! Deploy the special weapons.
MINION
Yes sir.
GREEN LANTERN blows a hole into the ship as the FLASH goes inside. GREEN LANTERN is about to follow but is hit by a yellow paint bomb sending him flying over the side of the ship. FLASH begins taking PARADEMONS and minions inside the ship. He then comes across a room filled with KRYPTONITE, a FLAME THROWER, YELLOW PAINT BOMBS and a gap missing where a STICKY BOMB GUN is meant to be.
THE FLASH
This doesn’t look good.
FLASH then super speeds out to find KALIBAK standing there with a STICKY BOMB GUN. He fires it at Flash but it misses and FLASH grabs the KRYPTONITE, FLAME THROWER and YELLOW PAINT BOMB and uses them all against KALIBAK before jumping off the ship. GREEN LANTERN is trying to shake off the yellow paint which is nullifying his ring. FLASH reaches him and begins using his arms in a wing fashion which slows their fall.
GREEN LANTERN
Don’t flap around like an idiot get this paint off me!
FLASH
Ok Green Man!
FLASH then super speeds to wipe off all the paint of GREEN LANTERN who’s ring activates and holds them in a bubble just above the ground by a few meters.
FLASH
We should hook up more often, that was fun!
GREEN LANTERN
Let’s arrange that for another day. Let’s take down that ship.
GREEN LANTERN then flies up with FLASH in the bubble and begins avoiding YELLOW PAINT BOMBS being fired from the ship. He then fires a green missile from his ring at the ship causing it to begin to fall.
MINION
Sir we are going to fall.
KALIBAK
Try and stay afloat!
KALIBAK then activates a BOOM TUBE and escapes the crash and returns to the mother ship in Darkseid’s throne room with a bit of flames getting through as well.
DARKSEID
Kalibak you great failure!
KALIBAK
The Green Lantern destroyed the ship father. It wasn’t my fault!
DARKSEID
Well we shall allow him to confront me and I shall defeat the Green Lantern. Go to the defences and put them on full attack.
INT. DESAARD’S SHIP.
WONDER WOMAN and MARTIAN MANHUNTER fly away from Desaard’s ship after leaving it crashing towards the ground over the Brazilian rainforest.
INT. AROUND THE WORLD
LEXCORP ADVANCED INFANTRY BEGIN ADVANCING ALL AROUND THE WORLD. 2, 500 ATTACK EACH OF THE SECONDARY INVADING SHIPS IN AFRICA, ASIA, AUSTRALIA AND EUROPE.
LEX LUTHOR and GEN. SAM LANE are in a LEXCORP SECRET BASE.

Those suits are derived from alien tech, they are the most advanced suits on the planet and you will see that they are taking down those ships, the human way!
THE ADVANCED INFANTRY begin attacking the ships and begin defeating the ships. DARKSEID’S ELITE use BOOM TUBES to retreat back to the MOTHER SHIP. The minion aboard the ship carry on fighting but eventually lose.
INT. SKYLINE
GREEN LANTERN and FLASH are in the sky and GREEN LANTERN contacts Batman.
GREEN LANTERN
Green Lantern to Batman. Me and Flash are to immobilise on the Mother Ship.
BATMAN
Jordan wait, Boy Scout and me are on coming to your position.
GREEN LANTERN
No time to wait time is against us.
FLASH
What is being said up there G-Man?
(FLASH is in a bubble below GREEN LANTERN and cannot hear what is being said)
INT. BATCAVE – GOTHAM CITY
SUPERMAN is eager to go and BATMAN has just finished talking to GREEN LANTERN.
SUPERMAN
Come on let’s go wouldn’t want to miss the party.
BATMAN
You can travel by air but you won’t beat me this time.
ACTIVATING the BOOM TUBE DEVICE.
SUPERMAN
Thought that was a bomb now?
BATMAN
I can control the size of the black hole. It is locked onto the Mother ship. You coming?
The BOOM TUBE open and BATMAN and SUPERMAN enter.
SUPERMAN
I hope for your sake Bruce, this works.
BATMAN
Me too.
LUCIUS FOX
Good luck.
INT SKY.
WONDER WOMAN and MARTIAN MANHUNTER fly and meet with GREEN LANTERN and FLASH.
WONDER WOMAN
We going to do this or what?
GREEN LANTERN
Now we’re talking legs!
WONDER WOMAN flies toward space to the MOTHER SHIP followed by MARTIAN MANHUNTER, GREEN LANTERN carrying FLASH in a bubble. As they reach the outskirts of earth’s atmosphere, they reach the beginning of DARKSEID’S defences. A whole new squadron of ships standing between them and the mother ship like a herd of mouse traps. They then begin attacking them.
INT. ENGINE ROOM – DARKSEID’S MOTHERSHIP
BOOM TUBE open and BATMAN and SUPERMAN arrive as the BOOM TUBE CLOSES BEHIND THEM.
SUPERMAN
I’m going to find Darkseid!
BATMAN
Make sure you don’t lose boy scout, I don’t want to have to save you as well as escape this ship when it blows.
SUPERMAN
Don’t worry about me, Darkseid hasn’t met anybody like me yet.
BATMAN then runs off into the darkness going to planet a bomb as SUPERMAN arrogantly flies toward DARKSEID fighting off PARADEMONS in the engine room.
INT. GOTHAM CITY STREETS
JONATHAN CRANE along with his gang are in a van that is blown up by a shot fired from a ship hovering low above Gotham. CRANE survives and gets out and is attacked by a PARADEMON who he gasses with his FEAR TOXIN. Police then arrive led by Com. GORDON who instead of arresting Crane, acknowledges the special situation. LOIS LANE and JIMMY OLSEN then arrive AGAIN and pester Gordon for a story.
LOIS LANE
COMMISIONER GORDON? Any chance of that quote yet?
JAMES GORDON
Look lady I’ve already told you, move on can’t you see we are at war here. Aliens are taking over the planet and all you care about is getting a story.
LOIS LANE
Well it doesn’t look like there is much effort, most of the ships are still in the air and are undamaged.
JAMES GORDON
Well if you can find a way to take down those shields surrounding them, please let us know.
LOIS LANE
Get me a phone and I will ring my father, he is a 4 star General and will know what is going on.
INT. GORDON’S MOBILE STATION
GORDON has taken LOIS LANE and JIMMY OLSEN into the mobile Police station and given her a satellite phone.
LOIS LANE
Daddy is this a bad time?
INT. LEXCORP SECRET BASE
LEX LUTHOR and GENERAL SAM LANE are overseeing the LEXCORP ADVANCED INFANTRY attacks.
SAM LANE
The world is fighting for civilization and your ringing for a story, yes this is a bad time. Go ring Lucy see if she is Ok and do something useful.
LOIS LANE
I’m with Com. Gordon from Gotham City and he wants to know if you can get the aliens’ special shields down.
SAM LANE
Well tell Com. Gordon that we are working on it.
LOIS LANE
LISTEN HERE GENERAL!! IT’S OK FOR YOU SAT IN A SECRET UNDERGROUND BASE SOMEWHERE NICE AND PROTECTED WHILE THE REAL WAR HEROES ARE OUT HERE FIGHTING FOR THEIR WORLD WHILE YOUR THEIRR PUSHING BUTTONS.
INT – PACIFIC OCEAN
One of DARKSEID’S POWER PLANTS is being attacked by AQUAMAN leading an army of ATLANTEANS. PARADEMONS operating the POWER PLANT defend themselves but are not match for the sheer number of Atlanteans and are defeated. They then set about destroying the POWER PLANET and rip it down within a few moments.
AQUAMAN
I’ve done my part of the bargain, you do yours Mr. Superman.
(As Aquaman looks up to the stars)
INT. GOTHAM CITY STREETS – GOTHAM CITY
LOIS LANE
He is contacting his boss in Washington now.
JAMES GORDON
Let’s hope they know something.
NATIONAL GUARD #1
Sir, the Shields. They’ve disappeared sir.
LOIS LANE
(Whisper) Damn that was fast dad.
JAMES GORDON
Then tell your men shoot them down!
NATIONAL GUARD and ARMIES around the world notice the shields have gone. They begin commencing firing all weapons against the ships which begin to destroy the ships around the world.
INT. OUTER SPACE
WONDER WOMAN, GREEN LANTERN and FLASH and MARTIAN MANHUNTER have got about half way through the defences. As they get nearer the mother ship, the final defences have all specialised weapons, much like on KALIBAK’s ship. They begin firing YELLOW PAINT, FIRE and even further advanced standard lasers.
INT. WEAPONS ROOM – DARKSEID’S MOTHERSHIP
BATMAN enters the weapons room and begins to fit the Black Hole bomb. As he sticks it to the wall, KALIBAK enters.
KALIBAK
So you have come for round two little man. Well I think I am going to enjoy this as much as the first, only this time my father will take care of the Kryptonian and I have you all to myself.
BATMAN
Watch your step.
KALIBAK
What?
BATMAN had already set a trap using his grapple gun and sends KALIBAK flying into a missile launcher. BATMAN then knocks out the lights with a batarang and hides in the dark. He begins attacking Kalibak using his agility and stealth making KALIBAK inpatient and throwing random punches.
INT. THRONE ROOM – DARKSEID MOTHERSHIP
SUPERMAN bursts into the throne room by sending DESAARD into doors.
SUPERMAN
Come out and face me Darkseid!
DARKSEID hides in the dark and only his voice can be heard.
DARKSEID
Welcome to my ship Kryptonian. I have waited a long time to defeat on of your kind, but since you destroyed yourself I thought I missed the chance. Now, I can take that chance and make you my new trophy.
SUPERMAN
You can try.
DARKSEID fires his OMEGA BEAM at Superman from the shadows striking him on the chest knocking him to the floor. DARKSEID steps out stamps on SUPERMAN’S HEAD.
DARKSEID
This is where everybody belongs, under my boot.
SUPERMAN
Not me!
SUPERMAN then grabs DARKSEID’s boot as he was about to stamp again and throws him across the room. He flies after him and begins punching Darkseid who begins giving it back.
INT. WEAPONS ROOM – SAME TIME
BATMAN has come out into the open and is fighting KALIBAK toe to toe. As KALIBAK goes to throw a punch, they both fall over when the ship judders as a cause of the SUPERMAN vs DARKSEID fight going on. BATMAN uses this opportunity to grapple KALIBAK’s feet again and straps it to a missile that he fires. Because KALIBAK is attached, it jams trapping KALIBAK who can’t move. BATMAN then sets the BLACK HOLE BOMB to blow in 5 minutes before leaving to find SUPERMAN.
INT. OUTER SPACE – SAME TIME
WONDER WOMAN, MARTIAN MANHUNTER, GREEN LANTERN AND FLASH are still attacking their way through the defences and decide to switch. MARTIAN MANHUNTER begins taking out the normal defences, WONDER WOMAN begins taking out the YELLOW PAINT BOMB defences and GREEN LANTERN the FIRE defences. They begin making progress and GREEN LANTERN and FLASH get through and land in the DOCKING BAY of the MOTHERSHIP.
GREEN LANTERN

FLASH
Hey I don’t like doing nothing in a fight. Was cool to watch though nice work.
GREEN LANTERN
You tried fighting hundreds of alien spaceships with your weakness with one hand behind your back? I am pretty pleased with myself.
FLASH
Now it’s my turn.
FLASH then super speeds off to find SUPERMAN and BATMAN. GREEN LANTERN begins taking out the PARADEMONS in the docking bay. WONDER WOMAN and MARTIAN MANHUNTER soon enter afterwards and all go to find DARKSEID.
MARTIAN MANHUNTER
Where is Flash?
GREEN LANTERN
Went to go finds Bats.
WONDER WOMAN
Then let’s go get Darkseid and end this.
GREEN LANTERN
After you Wonder Woman.
WONDER WOMAN
What no Legs, Princess just Wonder Woman?
MARTIAN MANHUNTER

GREEN LANTERN
When this is over J’onn, I’m taking you on the town in Coast City.
INT. THRONE ROOM – SAME TIME
SUPERMAN goes flying against the wall. Darkseid comes after him and begins continuously punching his head until he drops to the floor.
DARKSEID
You really think you could beat me. I am a God, you are just a man that could be a God. You could join me Kal-El.
SUPERMAN
You are a lonely God. I am respected amongst friends and protect the people I care about.
DARKSEID
I am respected!
SUPERMAN
You are feared! You have slaves working for you that are too scared to say no. You have a son who tries to please you as much as he can but you just turn your back on him.
DARKSEID
You know nothing!
DARKSEID then kicks SUPERMAN across the room. As he lands, he sees BATMAN enter the room.
SUPERMAN
GET OUT OF HERE NOW! THIS ISN’T THE TIME TO BE A HERO!
BATMAN
This isn’t the time to take the world on your shoulders.
DARKSEID
You should have listened to the Kryptonian little man.
DARKSEID then fires his OMEGA BEAMS at BATMAN who dodges them but they begin following him and he uses a series of continuous agility to keep avoiding them. SUPERMAN realises that they will reach him soon and rugby tackles DARKSEID ending the OMEGA BEAM. FLASH then arrives and helps BATMAN to his feet.
FLASH
You ok Batman?
BATMAN
Yeah got off me and go help Superman.
SUPERMAN attack DARKSEID again this time with real fury and kicks his ass sending him through the throne room wall into the next room where GREEN LANTERN, WONDER WOMAN and MARTIAN MANHUNTER are. Superman climbs through the rubble and is punched by DARKSEID landing at the feet of the 3 heroes. FLASH then super speeds alongside to create the 5 lined up opposite DARKSEID with BATMAN stealthily behind him. They all attack DARKSEID, GREEN LANTERN first using his ring, FLASH creating a tornado around him and SUPERMAN, WONDER WOMAN and MARTIAN MANHUNTER using their SUPER STRENGTH to punch him around like a pinball. DARKSEID stumbles around and SUPERMAN gives him one last final HUGE PUNCH knocking him out back into the throne room destroying his throne!
BATMAN
We need to get out of here now!
WONDER WOMAN
Let’s finish him off!
BATMAN
We don’t have time, it’s guna get pulled into a black hole and I am not quite sure what is going to happen.
FLASH
Wait Black hole?
MARTIAN MANHUNTER
Quickly everybody off of the ship.
GREEN LANTERN
Here, use this.
(Using his ring to grab a BOOM TUBE DEVICE located on the wall)
BATMAN activates the BOOM TUBE
BATMAN
Quick everybody get through. Wait. Where’s Superman?
SUPERMAN has gone into the throne room to find DARKSEID. DARKSEID is not where he laid knocked out and attacks SUPERMAN.
DARKSEID
You won’t ever defeat me. You and your friends are as good as dead.
BATMAN
SUPERMAN!
DARKSEID turns and fires another OMEGA BEAM at BATMAN who again uses his agility to avoid it making his way over to SUPERMAN and activating a BOOM TUBE and tackling SUPERMAN through it before it closes and the OMEGA BEAM hits the wall.
DARKSEID
Losers.
INT. WEAPONS ROOM – MOTHERSHIP
The BLACK HOLE BOMB counts down. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. It then activates and creates a massive BOOM TUBE that opens half way into the MOTHERSHIP before exploding and dragging and sucking debris from the ships defences and floating rocks and a satellite into it. It all then explodes and the disappears in a massive BANG!
INT. TIMES SQUARE – NEW YORK CITY – SAME TIME
BATMAN and SUPERMAN arrive out of the BOOM TUBE and land on the floor. GREEN LANTERN, WONDER WOMAN, MARTIAN MANHUNTER and FLASH are there to greet them as they look up and see the MASSIVE EXPLOSION happening above them where DARKSEID’S MOTHERSHIP explodes and is sucked into a BOOM TUBE.
GREEN LANTERN
Great to have you guys back.
SUPERMAN
Great to be back. Thanks for coming back for me.
BATMAN
I’m pretty sure you would’ve done the same for me.
SUPERMAN
Pretty sure.
INT – INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTS
We see images from around the world of armies from all countries destroying the ships.
REPORTER#1
Reports are saying that several of the so called super heroes joined forces to form some kind of super team...
REPORTER#2
Superman lead an attack on the aliens’ mothership...
REPORTER#3
Lois Lane of the Daily Planet along with photographer Jimmy Olsen were on the front lines in Gotham City...
We see images of a variety of heroes fighting the alien invasion : SUPERMAN, BATMAN, WONDER WOMAN, GREEN LANTERN, FLASH, MARTIAN MANHUNTER, AQUAMAN, GREEN ARROW, BLACK CANARY, HAWKMAN, HAWKGIRL, DOCTOR FATE, FLASH (JAY GARRICK), GREEN LANTERN (ALAN SCOTT).
We then see images of the heroes helping to clear up the devastation caused.. GREEN LANTERN using his ring to collect loads of ships and send them flying towards the sun, as do SUPERMAN, MARTIAN MANHUNER and WONDER WOMAN. AQUAMAN and ATLANTEANs using their SUPER STRENGTH to send the destroyed POWER PLANTS INTO SPACE from the ocean. LEX LUTHOR helping to clear up the devastation as well.
REPORTER#4
Reports suggest that the President is holding a special ceremony at the White House tomorrow to honour the heroes.
2 WEEKS LATER
INT. DAILY PLANET NEWSROOM – METROPOLIS
CLARK KENT and LOIS LANE are sat at her desk reading a report on LEX LUTHOR donating billions to help rebuild the world and also his budding political interest in the Presidential campaign.
LOIS LANE
Jesus, if Luthor makes Mayor this year...
CLARK KENT
I know, he thinks because he stood with humanity on one occasion when aliens invaded he is a reformed man.
LOIS LANE
There is obviously something behind it and we’ll get to the bottom of it or Superman will stop him, won’t he Smallville?
CLARK KENT
Yeah pretty sure Lois, anyway I need to pee.
CLARK KENT then runs off into the same storeroom and changes into SUPERMAN flying out of the window.
INT. FERRIS AIRCRAFT – COAST CITY
HAL JORDAN has just landed a brand new experimental plane and as he goes into the hangar, changes into GREEN LANTERN and flies off.
INT. WHITE HOUSE – WASHINGTON
The PRESIDENT is making a speech in front of a damaged White house about the importance of how humanity bound together in a time of crisis and hopes that it can pull together to help rebuild the damage caused and make a better one in the future.
PRESIDENT
Any second now, we are expecting the League of heroes to arrive.
THE FLASH then super speeds onto the stage next to the president.
FLASH
Obviously I was bound to be the first to arrive. Thanks and to those of you believe Superman to be faster, I’ll be arranging a charity race later in the year to prove I am the fastest man alive.
An AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN then steps forward from the crowd and is stopped by several secret service men. They then get off of him and he walks up to the stage and shape shifts into MARTIAN MANHUNTER.
FLASH
Well as chosen spokesperson for the League of Heroes, wait that is too cheesy, chosen spokesperson for the... Justice League I am pleased to welcome my buddy Martian Manhunter to the stage. Woooo!
SUPERMAN shortly followed by GREEN LANTERN and WONDER WOMAN arrive on the stage flying in. SUPERMAN goes to the microphone and moves FLASH aside.
SUPERMAN
Thank you Mr. President. And thank you Flash for the challenge, I look forward to it I could hear it from Metropolis and you’re on. I am here not as a leader of the super powered or as leader of the world, but as the ambassador of the future. A future without crime, corruption and the need to turn over fellow man, if anything the events of the last 2 weeks have proved that we are capable of this and I am here to help the gelling process. INT. UNKNOWN REGION OF SPACE
BOOM TUBE opens and DARKSEID’S MOTHERSHIP appears out of it before exploding. As the mist clears, Darkseid is shown floating in space appearing to be dead. He then opens his red fiery eyes before grinning.
