When millionaire Oliver Queen fell overboard, he was washed up on a deserted island where he was forced to learn how to hunt with a bow and arrow in order to survive. He eventually escaped from the island by overpowering some drug smugglers and handing them over to the authorities. Changed by his experiences, he decided to give something back to society, in as exciting a way as possible becoming a crime-fighter, using his archery skills for good. Dubbed Green Arrow, he took on a sidekick, Speedy, who was also his ward, Roy Harper. Green Arrow either lost or gave up his vast wealth (accounts vary), and became a hero more permanently, fighting alongside the Justice League of America, where he met and fell in love with Black Canary.
However, he was unable to settle down, and even after founding a florist shop with his lover, he proved unfaithful and left on a cross-American adventure which culminated in his death in a plane bombing, after which his son Connor Hawke took over the role. However, in recent months he resurfaced in Star City, having been rescued from death by Hal Jordan. Here, he has rebuilt his life and operates as Green Arrow once more, often alongside his son and other allies.
Although i have done castings i will be completely bias in this poll. Okay below are Green Arrow projects i cast, as you can see there's three Green Arrows right there, but their just my personal favorites. SET2FALL CBM user told me about him, and he's a great actor. Since I have been watching "Mad Men" a television show in which he stars in as Don Draper. Every week I watch it now. I see Oliver Queen. He screams it. Check out the quality series and see for yourself, he is Green Arrow!
Paul Bettany as Count Vertigo
Count Vertigo first appeared in Star City, where he attempted to steal back the jewels his parents had sold when they escaped to England after the war. The victim of a hereditary inner ear defect that affected his balance, Vertigo had a small electronic device implanted in his right temple that compensated this problem. Tinkering with the device, Vertigo learned he was able to affect other people’s balance as well, distorting their perceptions so that they literally couldn’t tell up from down, an effect known as vertigo. Donning a costume and taking the name "Count Vertigo", he embarked on a life of crime. This would bring him in conflict with the heroes Green Arrow and Black Canary.

Mackenzie Crook as Icicle
Cameron Mahkent is Icicle II unlike his father (the original Icicle) Cameron Mahkent has no need for a 'cold gun', as his father's prolonged exposure to the weapon altered his genetics, allowing him to biologically pass down to his son the ability to freeze objects and people or to lower the temperature of a room or other area. This ability unintentionally gave his skin an albino pigment.
Cameron became the second Icicle shortly before joining the Wizard's Injustice Unlimited group.
Mackenzie what can I say, the part is owned by him.
Nick Stahl as Pied Piper
Hartley Rathaway was born deaf, but was eventually cured thanks to research funded by his wealthy father (later it was revealed that he was cured by Dr. Will Magnus). He became obsessed with sound, and pursued little else in life; experimenting with sonic technology, Rathaway eventually invented a technique of hypnotism through music. Growing bored of his lifestyle, he turned to crime as the Pied Piper and frequently clashed with Barry Allen, the second Flash.
If you've seen "Carnivale" a very under-rated tv show, you would know how talented Stahl's is-- great for the Pied Piper.
Alan Rickman as Merlyn
Years before Oliver Queen would become Green Arrow, he was inspired to take up archery by the amazing archer, Merlyn "the Magician." Once Green Arrow began to become famous, the two met again, as Merlyn challenged the hero to a public archery contest and defeated him. With that victory under his belt, Merlyn vanished for years, only to resurface as a member of the League of Assassins. Merlyn and Green Arrow faced again as Merlyn tried to fulfill a contract to assassinate Batman. Green Arrow was able to deflect one of Merlyn's arrows with an arrow of his own, saving Batman's life. Merlyn admitted that Green Arrow had become the better archer, but escaped before he could be captured. Unable to return to the League of Assassins, he became a freelance assassin.
Rickman, no brainer.
Christina Milian as Cascade
Cascade (Rhian Douglas) was the leader of the Sovereign Seven and had the ability to cascade, or teleport, both herself and others. Her ability generally required some knowledge of the destination or that she be provided with a "waypoint" by Network. Cascade fled her mother, Maitresse, who ruled Cascade's homeworld with unflinching omnipotence.
Christina is not a heavy hitter, but I think in the stuff i have seen her in isn't bad. She'd make a fine Cascade, sexy too!
Andy Serkis as Shock Trauma
Shock Trauma - Not a lot is known about him though he can generate electricity.
As for the actor, he was in a little movie called "Lord of the Rings," yes Gollom. Good actor and will bring class to the cast (okay, to his character).
Steve Buscemi as Calculator
The Calculator has a genius level intelligence is a skilled manipulator and superb strategist. The Calculator also has a vast array of criminal contacts. In his early career he used a battlesuit.
Calculator has used a battlesuit with a large calculator in the chest area. The computers in the suit can accurately predict the actions of any hero or even the Earth itself. A projector in the helmet is linked to the suit and can create items by solidifying the dust in the air. Calculator no longer uses this battlesuit and its whereabouts are unknown.
A very obscure villain that only Buscemi would bring justice to.
William Defoe as Floronic Man
Jason Woodrue uses an experimental forumula to transform his body into a plant/human hybrid, with his skin resembling bark and his hair turning into leaves. Now calling himself the Floronic Man, he is defeated by Green Lantern. The Floronic Man later becomes a member of the Secret Society of Super-Villains.
Just think William Defoe with all that make up on: oh my it sends shivers!
Olivia Wilde as Gemini
She is the daughter of Madame Rouge. In the Beast Boy mini-series, she sought revenge against Beast Boy for killing her mother. She attempted to frame him for the murders of his former cast members in an old TV show. She was thwarted by Beast Boy, Flamebird, and Nightwing. Subsequently, she joined her mother's old group, the Brotherhood of Evil. Her first mission with them was an arms deal with the Penguin in Blüdhaven, but they were defeated by Batgirl.
Um Olivia Wilde anyone? I thought so.
Jason Patric as Multiplex
Danton Black was the assistant to nuclear physicist Martin Stein when they worked together to design the Hudson Nuclear Facility, during which Black felt (incorrectly) that Stein was getting too much credit while he did all the work. A bomb placed in the facility by a protest group exploded one night transforming Stein (and student Ronnie Raymond) into Firestorm with the power of fusion, and granting Black the power of fission--the ability to separate himself into many different beings as Multiplex.
Jason Patric is a must for this role and would bring depth to it.
Danny Trejo as Tattooded Man
Abel Tarrant was a sailor based in Coast City who turned to burglary. During one of his heists, he was exposed to a bunch of mysterious chemicals which left him with the mental ability to create actual objects from the chemicals. When he got back from the robbery, he tattooed himself using the chemicals so he would always have the chemicals near him. Some of the shapes he was able to conjure from his tattoos were an axe, shield, cannon, and dragon.
We all know Danny Trejo and with a shaven head and no mustache (yes he has lost it for certain roles in the past). Perfect Tattooded Man. Heck, they would even need to put many more tattoos on him.
Digital Djinn as an Unknown
Djinn - His body was reduced to a binary code and stored in microchips within a magnetic bottle. So basically he'd be CGI with a digital voice. Oh and he was a former member of Suicide Squad.
Triple H as Blockbuster
Blockbuster is Mark Desmond, a chemist who desired to increase his physical strength. Experimenting on himself, he succeeded in making himself stronger and taller, but as a side-effect of the process he also became almost mindlessly aggressive. The mentally debilitated Desmond was cared for by his brother Roland, a local criminal, who kept their mother from discovering what Mark had done to himself. Roland manipulated his brother into committing crimes on his behalf.
Well I'm not one for wrestler's in movies, but Triple H could quite easily do this part. He probably won't say too much, but come on, he is Blockbuster!
Kane as Iron Cross
Not a lot is known about Iron Cross, just that he was in Justice League Task Force for a very short time!
Yes I know another wrestler, but Kane can grunt a bit and be Iron Cross easily. Plus check out his "See No Evil" movie, he's not too bad at acting.

Heatmonger is a supervillain with robotic arms that shoot out blasts of thermal energy and little is known about her, as like Iron Cross she too was in the Justice League Task Force for a short time.
As to why Charlize Theron as Heatmonger, just watch a movie called Monster to see, perfect!

Mark Hamill as the Trickster =
The original Trickster is a practical joker and conman whose favorite occupation is damaging enemies like the Flash with items such as explosive teddy bears.His alter ego is James Jesse (the opposite of Jesse James), a stage name to replace his true identity, Giovanni Giuseppe. He was a circus acrobat who decided to become a criminal for the thrill.
Yeah i know what your thinking he's getting on a bit but he is the Trickster and a classic actor that deserves a role like this in a big movie! Think about it if they can make Patrick Stewart twenty, thirty years younger in the X-men movies Warner Bros could take a good fifteen, twenty years off Mr Hamill. He is the Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger of the Trickster and it don't hurt he played Trickster in the Flash television series and done a great job as the Joker. Mark Hamill has been around the Dc and Marvel Universes for years so i reckon he's right for the part.
Neal McDonough as Captain Cold =
Leonard Snart was raised by an abusive father and took refuge with his grandfather, who worked in an ice truck. When his grandfather died, Len grew tired of his father's abuse and set out to start a criminal career. Snart joined up with a group of small-time thieves and in planning out a robbery, each was issued a gun and a visor to protect their eyes against the flashes of gunfire. This visor design would later be adapted by Snart into his trademark costume. In recent years he has added a radio receiver to them which picks up the police band to monitor local law enforcement.
What can we say, he's a good actor and that cold look is perfect for Captain Cold!
Robert Carlyle as Mirror Master =
Sam Scudder is a simple convict, but he has the goal to learn how to get inside the reflection of a mirror. Stumbling into a hall of mirrors, he experiments and discovers a way to get in his own reflection. He uses this power to become the criminal Mirror Master.
A top quality British actor that would own the role of Mirror Master!
Hugh Jackman as Captain Boomerang =
Secretly the illegitimate son of an American soldier and an Australian woman, Harkness was raised in poverty, during which time he developed great skill in making boomerangs, and in using them as weapons. As a young adult, he was hired as a performer and boomerang promoter by a toy company which was owned by his biological father, which he knew nothing about. Audiences ridiculed him, and a resentful Harkness turned to using his boomerangs for crime.
Well we know he's Wolverine but how about the Dc villain? I say heck yes, he could play Captain Boomerang and make it his own. Who wouldn't want to see Hugh in this role?
David Tennant as Weather Wizard =
Escaping a prison transport, Mark Mardon fled to his brother's house only to find him dead. Mardon's brother, Clyde, a scientist, had just discovered a way to control the weather before dying of a heart attack (although recent evidence implies that Mardon murdered his brother and either lied about or blocked out the memory of finding his body). Mardon took Clyde's notes and used them to make a wand to generate weather and embarked on a criminal career as The Weather Wizard.
David Tennant another great British actor and he could put his own spin on Weather Wizard like he does with Doctor Who, he's a class actor and would easily put that class in the evil villain Weather Wizard.
Seann Willaim Scott as The Trickster II =
Axel Walker, okay a bit a head of time for this one but the actor is perfect for the role and he has the acting chops to prove it, just watch any of his movies his been in, he is amazing. Also the guy is perfect for the role of the original Trickster too i reckon, though Hamill will always be the Trickster.
Robert Knepper as Doctor Light:
The Silver Age Doctor Light was a criminal physicist named Dr. Arthur Light, who first appeared in Justice League of America #12. A retcon introduced in Secret Origins #37 revealed that this character was actually the second Dr. Light. According to the retcon, his predecessor was his partner at STAR Labs, a scientist named Jacob Finlay. Finlay created a technologically advanced suit to control light as a minor superhero, but was accidentally killed by Arthur Light near the beginning of his heroic career (though Finlay's death may have been caused by hiding his costume in a computer console, causing it to malfunction). Light took the suit and the "Doctor Light" codename, using them for selfish, criminal means. He has been periodically haunted by Finlay's ghost through the years, but could use the light generated by the suit to drive off this spirit.
Again Knepper is the perfect Carnage, but again, this is the DC Universe and he makes the perfect Doctor Light too!
Kristen Bell as Killer Frost:
Crystal Frost first appeared in "Firestorm." While Crystal Frost was studying to be a scientist in Hudson University. She fell in love with her teacher, Martin Stein. While working on a project in the Arctic, Frost was upset to learn that Stein didn't reciprocate her feelings. Frost accidentally locked herself in a thermafrost chamber, but somehow survived. She was transformed in a way that she is able to absorb heat from a living being and project the cold and ice. Now calling herself Killer Frost, she began her murderous crusade against men and has clashed with Firestorm on many occasions. Frost died after she absorbed too much energy from Firestorm.
Crystal has been identified as one of the deceased entombed below the Hall of Justice. Bell is perfect for Killer Frost.
I mean will all this talent, Super Max would be up there with the Superhero greats, even surpass some of them. We need the Green Arrow Super Max made!
Casting for the Green Arrow Year One movie = Josh Holloway as Oliver Queen (Green Arrow)
Dressed like Robin Hood and taking on crime, Green Arrow is an archer, who invents trick arrows with various special functions, such as a glue arrow, a net arrow, explosive arrow, time bomb arrow, grappling arrow, fire extinguishing arrow, flash arrow, tear gas arrow, cryonic arrow, a boxing-glove arrow, and even a kryptonite arrow.
Well what can i say, Josh Holloway is a favorite and i reckon he could easily lose his southern accent as he's a actor an all and be the perfect Green Arrow for Year One. Anyone who has ever watch Lost would know what a top quality actor he really is, that's why he's picked for this movie version of Green Arrow!
Audra McDonald as China White
China White was the leader of a drug cartel that dominated the South Pacific. She supplied heroin imports for the West Coast United States, Australia, Japan and the entire Pacific rim. Her base of operations was a volcanic island in Fiji. Many years ago, millionaire playboy Oliver Queen found himself manipulated into financing several of China White's operations, though he was unaware that he was secretly investing in a drug cartel. When Ollie's presence threatened to expose China White, she ordered the mercenary henchman Hackett to kill him. Hackett beat Oliver up, and tossed him over the side of his boat, the Pacific Queen. Ollie survived however and managed to make his way to the island. He discovered China White's poppy fields and learned that she had been using local villagers as slave labor to sow the fields. When she discovered that Hackette had failed to kill Oliver Queen, she ordered him to finish the job or else he would spend his last days being slowly eaten away in a rat-infested cage.
I've picked McDonald as she has that strong leadership presence about her and could easily play the role of China White! As for her acting, check out Private Practice, very good actress.

A former pilot for the Royal Air Force, Hackett eventually came into the employ of a heroin manufacturer named China White. China conducted her business from an island volcano in Fiji, and communicated her orders to Hackett from there. Over a decade ago, Hackett insinuated his way into the lifestyle of millionaire playboy Oliver Queen. He convinced Queen to invest in several illegal offshore accounts, though Queen was unaware that the money was being used for drug trafficking. Hackett arranged to meet with China White, but Oliver insisted on coming along and they both embarked upon the Pacific Queen. Queen's presence threatened to expose China White's operations, and she ordered Hackett to kill him. As he considered himself Oliver's friend, Hackett couldn't bring himself to murder him in cold blood, so he tossed him over the side of the ship instead. Ollie survived however, and encountered Hackett again on Fiji where he learned that he was actually working for China White. The two fought one another, but Ollie managed to get away. When Hackett reported back to China White, she was furious at him for not shooting him in the head as originally instructed.
Well not only does he look a spitting image of him but Law is a great British actor and would bring such class to the needed character, just check out his movies like Road To Perdition to see how Jude takes a role and owns it.

Justin Hartley portrays Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, the CEO of Queen Industries and leader of a small group of superheroes in "Smallville". Hartley was a recurring guest in the sixth and seventh seasons but becomes a series regular in season eight. Hartley was the producers first choice to play Oliver Queen; he was designed to shake up the lives of both Clark and Lois in season six, as well as provide Clark with an alternate view of how to fight crime. I reckon it's a no brainer why i have picked Justin, he is TV's Green Arrow!

Black Canary's costume consists of a blond wig, fishnet stockings, pirate boots, bustier, and an unbuttoned jacket. Initially, she also wore a domino mask, though this was soon jettisoned.

Evan Ellingson as Speedy
The original Speedy's real name was Roy Harper, Jr.. He was identified as the orphaned son of Roy Harper, Sr., a forest ranger who had died saving a Navajo medicine chief named "Brave Bow" from a fire. Brave Bow raised the younger Roy himself, training him at archery. Roy Jr. took to this training eagerly, and idolized the archer superhero, Green Arrow. As a teenager, Roy is given the opportunity to perform at an archery competition judged by Green Arrow, where he assists the hero at foiling an attempted burglary, even proving himself to be a faster shot than the hero. Following the death of Brave Bow, Green Arrow asked Roy to serve as his sidekick, an offer Roy jumped at, taking the name Speedy. Harper became the ward of Green Arrow's alter ego, millionaire Oliver Queen.
Evan Ellingson, best know for his role as Kyle Harmon, Lieutenant Horatio Caine's son in "CSI: Miami". What can i say, he looks the part and he's a good little (well big now) actor a perfect Speedy and yes i think the series should have the original Speedy as well as the female one, talking of which is next.
Autumn Reeser as Speedy II
Mia Dearden was a teenaged girl who ran from her home after being abused by her father and fell into child prostitution. Mia was rescued from one of her clients by Oliver Queen, who had just recently returned from the dead. Mia continued to try and convince Oliver, who was busy trying to reconstruct his own life, and began to secretly train with Connor Hawke in archery and combat. Mia continually petitioned Green Arrow to allow her to serve as his sidekick, but Oliver continually demurred, not wanting to put another youngster at risk. After discovering she is HIV positive, Mia redoubled her efforts and Green Arrow finally allowed her to become the new Speedy.
Autumn Reeser, a great actress who had a stint on "The OC" and since starred in "Drag Me To Hell" will do a damn fine job as Speedy II, oh and see's not to bad on the eyes either.
Cheech Martin as Brian Nudocerdo
Brian Nudocerdo is the chief of police of Star City. He is completely corrupt and has crossed swords with the city's mayor, Oliver Queen, on a number of occasions. Nudocerdo arranged for Deathstroke and Constantine Drakon to escape from prison at Alcatraz Island. Recently, he exposed Oliver Queen for financing the Outsiders, a team that has been conducting questionable and oftentimes mercenary actions as of late. The revelation incited a city-wide scandal, and Nudocerdo demanded a recall election in an effort to indict Queen. He is currently campaigning to replace him.
What can i say, Cheech is a legend and could play this part blindfolded.

Billy Zane as Contantine Drakon
Although his exact height has not been given, the Greek assassin Constantine Drakon is a short individual. As a child he was teased for this by other children. Once he started killing people at the age of ten, however, he found he was no longer sensitive about his stature. He claims that he had nothing strange or traumatic in his upbringing to turn him to murder, he was simply curious to see what he could do. Discovering that he was a prodigy at killing, Constantine proceeded to make a living out of it. He considers what he does not just a job but a vocation, and takes pride out of the businesslike manner in which he operates. Billy Zane great actor and has the look plus he's a short arse, great for Drakon.
James Lafferty as Slingshot
Slingshot, is a mystery man, not much is known about him though he is a thorn in Green Arrow's side and is handy with the weapons.
James Lafferty from "One Tree Hill", I don't hold that agains't him, he's a good actor and would make a great Slingshot.

Tim DeKay as Onomatopoeia
No personal characteristics are known about Onomatopoeia, including his real name or facial features. When his face was once partially uncovered it was seen that he is a caucasian male but that is the extent of the knowledge of him. He also apparently has a secret identity, as revealed in the three part Batman miniseries Cacophony. Its here we discover he has a wife and two children who are unaware of his dual life.
Onomatopoeia is a serial killer who targets non-powered, vigilante superheroes. He earned his name because he imitates noises around him, such as dripping taps, gunshots etc. Well Tim Dekay is this unknown stranger.
Nathaniel Arcand as Big Game
All that is known about Big Game is his name and he's a Native American very strong Supervillain trained in many combat skills and cross swords many times will Green Arrow.
A up and coming actor been in many things including the not so good "Lone Ranger" Tv Pilot. Good actor though and perfect for Big Game.
Jim Beaver as Bobby Stanley Dover (The Star City Slayer)
The Star City Slayer was a name coined by the press in relation to the actions of the elderly Stanley Dover. An amateur occultist, Dover hunted young boys and girls, savagely murdering them and using their blood as a means of baiting a demonic entity known as the Beast With No Name.
If you have seen Jim Beaver in "Supernatural" you know just how good of an avctor he actually is and should play a dark character like Slayer.
Chris Pratt as Vengeance
History of character is unknown, but the name says it all, something dark in Oliver's past. Chris from "OC & Jennifer's Body" can play this guy, i reckon he'd make a good villain.
Jeremy Schwab as Duke Of Oil
The Duke of Oil (Earl J. Dukeston) is a cyborg supervillain who has fought both the Outsiders and Green Arrow.
His first incident involving the Outsiders happens when Dukeston Oil wants to examine Station Markovia, an automated ocean research station off the coast of Los Angeles. Schwab being Texan himself is a great fit for old Duke.
Chad Lindberg as Death Dealer
He deals death. Chad whose been in "CSI", "Supernatural" also and many other shows could make a great Death Dealer, yep there is no info about Death Dealer, not a clue lol.
Timothy Olyphant as Deathstroke
Imbued with enhanced physical prowess by secret army experiments attempting to create metahuman soldiers for the U.S. military, Deathstroke the Terminator became a mercenary soon after the experiment when he defied orders and rescued his friend Wintergreen, who had been sent on a suicide mission by a commanding officer with a grudge. However, he kept this career secret from his family, even though his wife was an expert military combat instructor - indeed, she had been responsible for a significant portion of his early training - until a criminal named the Jackal kidnapped his younger son, Joseph, as a hostage to force Slade to divulge the name of a client who had hired him as an assassin. Slade refused to do so, claiming that it was against his personal honor code, and attacked and killed the kidnappers at the rendezvous. Unfortunately, Joseph's throat was slashed by one of the criminals before Slade could prevent it, destroying his vocal cords and rendering him mute.
Olyphant is a great actor and could own the part of Deathstroke, of course you have got to remember this is early in Green Arrow's career so the guy would be a lot younger, though he would have to have the classic grey haired look still, close your eyes and think about it.

Yunjin Kim as Shado
Shado is the daughter of a Yakuza agent sent to America with a large cache of gold, prior to World War II, in order to establish Yakuza operations in America. Being Japanese, Shado's father was placed in an internment camp when the war broke out. A group of American soldiers came to suspect his Yakuza ties but were unable to torture him into revealing the location of any money. Years after the war, the retired soldiers decided to try again. This was after Shado had been born, so the retired soldiers were able to threaten her and her mother. Not wishing to see his family harmed, Shado's father turned over the gold. Shado's mother died from wounds the soldiers had given her, and her father committed seppuku to atone for failing the Yakuza. His disgrace then fell upon his infant daughter, Shado, who was raised specifically to kill the Americans who had dishonored her Yakuza family. To that end she was extensively trained in martial arts and Kyūdō, the Japanese art of archery.
Yunjin Kim an amazing actress, who stars in "Lost" not only looks the part, but she can beat guys up too, a talent that would go well with the character Shado, plus it doesn't hurt she was born for the part!

And hey talking spin-offs, who wouldn't want to see Laura Vandervoort in her own series, or the very least after a season, in Green Arrow!
